she's a very nice, honest and organized teacher. Shes has powerpoints to make note taking easier than ever before. And they also help a lot when it comes to tests. I totally recommend her.

She's a nice teacher but I find her notes hard to follow. Trying to study them later was confusing. The projects are fun and as long as you study hard the tests aren't so bad. I enjoy her class.

In response to the two negative reviews, your use of the english language only depicts as to why you received such a bad mark (grow up!). Otherwise, Prof. Vidovic is outstanding and I highly recommend her to everyone.

Notes VERY lenghty, too detailed. Uses good examples. Midterms-okay.Final-MOST out of text, quite difficult.Presentation easy but boring. Very helpful teacher.Read the text & know the MAIN topics for the exams, but other than that just study the class notes(they cover most of the exam Qs).The exams seem hard but when i came out expecting a C I'd end up with an A(basically she's an easy marker). For an interesting/easy class, take her.

She is HOT. Got an 8AM class with her, and to be honest I haven't skipped a single class. What a beauty! Shes a good teacher too!

She's easy for 1100 but she toughens up a bit for 2330. Marked easy in 1100 but she marks hard for her 2nd year classes. Same layout as 1100- presentation, 2 midterms, 1 final, 1 term paper. Tests m/c, short answer t/f and def. An okay prof. starting to mark harder though.

She is an awesome teacher. she tries to make class interesting and is always prepared for the lessons. all of her notes are straight forward and powerpoint. That makes tests really easy to study for. projects are easy if u put in some time. not hard to get a good grade. plus shes hot!!!

One of my comments was erased from site since I talked about her looks so no more. Students wondering she is great at her job. She preps you for well and provides good review sheets and makes really boring material fun. Taking her next week in Richmond. Cool.

you would think for a crim class she would be easy. Her essay is not explained well (which explains why the class did so poorly) and her tests consist of examples in the text book which she does not put in her outline. Never Take Her!!

Amazing teacher! She inspired me to major in Criminology, all notes are on powerpoint, explains them all very well, gives review sheets for tests, preps you well for the test, assignments are great and NO FINAL-there is a project but u get all semester to complete it. Definately taking her again!

Petra is a good teacher. She explains the material very well, and she is extremely nice and very approachable. Class format was 3 tests, one group presentation and an essay. tests were m/c, t/f, matching, fill in blanks and short answer. Her tests were easy if you studied, and she is an easy marker. I highly reccomend her.

It is a small class and this enthusiastic prof really tries to get everyone involved. Take this class because she really knows how to make young offender issues extremely interesting. No final but the tests are challenging. Need to attend class to keep up.

Such a cool class. The theories part is easy because Jonas really uses practical real examples to make it easy on us. A realy knowledge base this refreshing smily prof is.

8 am class = no problem waking up to her. one of the finest teachers on campus, good teaching methods as well. i got a b with like minamal attendance + coming hungover to class when i was there. great teacher though, really cooperative and helpful. did i mention shes hot?

Honestly I'm sad the summer is almost over with Petra. She made the class really interesting and I know so much about crim behav now. Fair, stays true to her word, so smart and friendly. Won't comment on her looks like everyone else because that takes away from why we really like her.

u'll be lucky if u get her class..i took her crim 1100 & 1101 classes..totally dedicated towards the students..just attend her every class on time, go through the text & read her notes thoroughly..do your written assignment on time..don't worry for the group presentation..just put your effort well & she'll give u more marks than u deserve!LOVE HER!

For crim 1100 & 1101:- 3 quizzes of 20% each consisting of M/C, T/F & some short answers(mostly from her powerpoint slides but u have to read text for M/C). 1 written paper of 15%(u must submit ur paper on time); 1 group presentation of 15%(she won't mark harsh);& 10% on participation(u have 2 attend each & every class for this). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Amazing teacher. You will be extremley lucky to have her. She relates what she teaches to personal expieriences which I found great for learning. Tests are hard but not impossible, she words thing a little bit differently so it can be confusing at times. Otherwise she is organized, enthusiastic and I would not hesitate to take another class of hers

M/C, short answer and matching on exam. one paper and one group presentation and group discussions worth marks. I am an average B student and I got an A- in her class :)

at first, i was not sure about Petra. to me her lecture is a little dry. but one the other hand, learn alot, and exams and papers are good..

She is sweet, knowledgeable, sympathetic.... oh and very easy to look at. I found the material a bit difficult, but that's probably just me. She knows her stuff and will bend over backwards to help out students. She honestly wants everyone to do well, and understands the life of a modern day student. Reccomended!

Very clear teacher, straight to the point and the course is actually really interesting if you pay attention. Reading the text isn't required but it would definitely help! Her exams are kind of tough but she tries to give you hints in advance about what material she will be testing you on. All in all, if you attend class you should do fine!

Petra is the best teacher I've had this year! She is so helpful, so nice and realy cares for her students. All of the rest of the comments about her being so awesome are true. If you read the textbook, you are good and she covers that same material in class and is interesting to listen to as she is not boring. Definitely recommend!

Petra likes to tell stories A LOT. Not that it's a bad thing, but sometimes it feels like droning. She really brings the course material to life though, and her stories are really interesting, like the stuff you see on tv. Her tests are a little difficult, blending notes and text together. I think she's great for a first year course!

Petra is really a fantastic prof. She provides so many real examples from her research and field experience and all of the stuff she says makes ya really know the material. Brings life to the boring textbook. Firm, smiley and approachable and just plain super smart. Ok yes she's a magnetic gal too but it goes beyond that

Nice teacher...3 tests,a project, and an essay. Pretty easy...just do your best and study her notes (powerpoint) and the readings to do well on the test...the project (presentation) is easy. Just put in your effort and you will walk out with a good mark!

Petra is great. She tells you exactly what you are going to need to know for tests, no tricks. She is very helpful when you ask her. I got an A- for crim 1100 and a B+ for crim 2330 but honestly you can easily do better than that. She's awesome, I would highly recommend her

Waited two years to take her class because of the long wait lists for her. Was worth the wait. Her experience and knowledge in youth issues is amazing especially about the system, sentencing and youth theory. Her working in the area of youth, psychopathy and fasd helps. So much interview knowledge. Would take her again and again.

Petra is an awesome prof. She has a lot of knowledge about criminology in general and is just a charming lady. You have to study (obviously) but her exams are not too hard. In all she really wants to see her students exceed. Her lectures can get a bit boring at times but for the most part she's alright. She's also not too bad to look at haha.

By far the top CRIM prof here. Confident - bold - charismatic. Wish she taught all the courses. She is hot, super smart and keeps everything current. You will learn so much about women as offenders and victims and how they are oppressed and also empowered. REALLY loved her class. I've had her before for other courses and she never disappoints.

I had Petra for my first semester at Kwantlen. She is a very nice, approachable and helpful prof. She is a bit of a hard marker but you learn what you did wrong and what can be improved on for next timem I highly recommend her to everybody, she's amazing!

Well to get good grades everyone have to study. Not just by choosing easy teacher u will pass, u have to work hard. Petra is nice teacher , fair marker , lots of examples. Really worried about her students for future because of economy and high prices , she mention it several times in class.

Learn a lot

Aaaa you have to pre read from home to understand the concept. She gonna assign you work that gonna cover next class. So please do read before going to class than you gonna understand topic in depth and for sure you gonna get atleast A. If you don't want to pre read just make notes and read that day so you can understand topic and you can do well

Thought this CJS class would be boring but was told to take Petra. She is so lively and knows about the system I couldn't believe it. Whole class was completely into her lecture style. Tests are hard if you don't study but she gives you reviews. I keep trying to take her but her classes get huge waitlists right away! TAKE HER

The best professor I had by far. She was so kind and really just wanted to get to know the students and looked forward to reading the weekly opinion based questions. There are two mandatory questions you have to do every week for your participation mark, and three tests that are all multiple choice and t&f. I would 100% take her again if I could.

Petras online was the course I looked forward to the most. She gives concise, clear instructions and gives excellent feedback on the written essay and is really engaging to listen to. Tough tests if you dont prep well and you need to do the forums to get participation marks. I will take her again.

I was nervous being my 1st year but I loved this class. Super smart and exciting lectures which I learnt a lot about crime. A lot of different assignments and tests and ways to get good grades if you stay on task. She is my favourite and I will take again.

She is the best professor in the KPU criminology department. She takes some time to grade your assignments but you will definitely get a good feedback from her side. There is only one media presentation in a group which is obviously a grade booster.

Incredible semester with Petra. She's extremely knowledgeable about all topics. Anyone who has anything negative to say only says that because they did bad in the class. Had Petra for 1100 and 2249 she's just the best. Exciting lectures and delivers learning in a compassionate and informed way that makes you stay tuned. If you aren't in class you lose marks for the in class activity portion but the worksheets are so helpful for the tests and assignments. You do have to stay on top of everything in class and online

Seriously love Petra. Finally got into her class after having her for 1100 online. So energized in person and on video and actually cares about her students. There are a lot of assessments so you gotta stay enrolled in the class or it will pass you by quickly and you will be behind. Could have done better if I focused on the deadlines for stuff.

Petra's class is engaging and rewarding if you put in the effort. Lectures are insightful, tests are tough but fair. Using Unstuck study alongside the textbook and class discussions really helped me succeed.

Petra offers a multi-assessment course with many opps to well because of all the different assignments and tests. Lots of reading scholarly articles too and engaging activities worth marks. She is sharp, witty and smart but also kind and energetic. Lectures are very worth it. Loved her class and not my first class with her either.
