A good professor. Thick accent. But he gets the point across. Listen to his instructions and do what he tells you and youll pass. He gives quizzes that he is clear about what they are about, and gives you extra credit opportunities. Don't underestimate this class, it's alot of memorizing!!!

Prof. Drumea is a GREAT teacher. A quiztest almost every other class but he tells you what the extra credit question is before which is worth 10 points and literally saved me every test. They aren't too hard just study beforehand. He's a fair grader. Very very nice. His accent is a bit thick at times but fine over all. Got an A! Essay was so easy

Great guy, he learns your name and you can tell he genuinely cares about his field. He's from Moldova so he has a Russian-sounding accent which keeps lectures interesting. Only problem I had with his class is that he barely put anything on blackboard. You can easily pass the class without the use of a textbook but you should probably get an atlas.

Honestly, I liked this professor. There is only the mid-term & final, which is a bit overwhelming, but I mean it's not that bad. Also, there is 1 research paper and a few quizzes that he will tell us ahead of time. He knows he's stuff and enjoys teaching!

Professor Drumea is really passionate about his subject and knows what he's talking about. His lectures are extensive but he covers essay questions while in class so its helpful. He assigns an 8 page paper but as long as you meet the page requirement you'll get a good grade. Everything on the test comes from the powerpoints so just study those.

If you can get pass his thick accent, his lectures are pretty good. He's very knowledgeable and willing to help. Attendance counts for a lot and he tells you in class the answers to the essay questions. There is also extra credit on the quizzes. One 8 page paper but still an easy going class and teacher.

He has a very thick accent which can be very hard to understand, but he definitely knows what he is teaching and you can tell he's passionate about it. You only need the atlas for this class, he lets you use in quizzes. Easy A if you put effort.

I admire Professor Drumea, he is very knowledgeable in geography and is overall a nice guy. He has a thick accent but after a while you'll catch on and it'll be easier to understand. He allows you to use your atlas during all 4 quizzes and exams and you can also print the maps from the powerpoints.

I learned a lot about the subject and research paper. Also, I enjoyed the group assignments.

Awesome teacher! Took both his geography 210 and 220 courses! Easy to pass his class if you study the power-points he provides online every week. No need for the text book, an atlas is all you need! Great guy and truly cares about his students and geography.

Professor Drumea has an impressive dominant knowledge about the U.S. and global geography, economics, politics, and history. His great lectures covered by his personal first-hand experiences, are absolutely wonderful. You will learn A LOT!

Hes overall a really nice guy. There is only a couple of quizzes along with a midterm and final. The midterm and final have questions from previous quizzes. Attendance is worth 60 points so definitely show up to class. He also tells you the essay question in class for the quiz. You need the atlas for this class but i never used the actual textbook.

Hes a great teacher all he does is lecture and the test are super easy lectures are online and you use the atlas for the tests so its super easy. He also tells you the essay questions and the multiple choice part of the tests prior to the test day. There is no homework just make sure you look at the PowerPoint. I did other homework in this class.

Professor Drumea is very knowledgeable and well respected. There are 4 quizzes, one (longer paper), midterm, and final. He gives you essay questions in advance and posts all lectures on Canvas. The material isn't difficult if you study for a couple hours, just some memorization. I learned a lot, and the class was easy.

Definitely go to class, because he doesn't put much on CANVAS. There's 4 quizzes, a mid-term, a final, and an easy paper on a national park of your choice. Great guy! Easy A.

Professor is an expert in his field. He made the content of the course interesting and easy to understand.

Petru might seem hard to understand during his lectures but his assignments are super easy to follow. He is an easy grader. He does have short essays on his tests but he does give you the essay prompt a week before the exam, so its easy to look up and compile a short answer about. None the less I recommend him! EASY A!

The easies class I had at NOVA. You don't have to participate in class. And if you sign up for his class, I guarantee that you will not regret it. The easiest A ever!!! I don't understand people who complain about his accent, because it is easy to get used to the way he speaks. I don't know a second professor who is such an easy grader.

Took him at shepherd in wv in the fall of 2021. Great professor and if you do the work and study his slides you'll get an A. He loves discussion and interaction in class.

No homework in this class, just quizzes and exams! He's also very clear on what will be in the quiz and exams. He's very intelligent and rewards hard work. Cons are that something may be wrong with his microphone since it keeps cutting off during every class, and there isn't much room for class participation while he gives his lectures.

I absolutely loved taking his class. I took GEO 220 as a summer online course and it was a breeze. He gives very clear instructions and guidelines for quizzes and the research paper. He wants you to succeed in the course unlike other adjunct teachers. The lectures are mandatory and they are very long but worth it overall.

He is very knowledgeable on the course, makes it clear what we need to be doing to prepare for quizzes and exams, and is very friendly and easy to talk to. I enjoyed this course very much.

Professor Drumea was amazing. He really wanted every one of his students to learn and pass the class. He always gave opportunities for students to do well so there was absolute no way to fail the class. We had quizzes, a mid term exam, and a final which were all based off of everything we learned in class. Easy A!!

He is most definitely passionate about his subject matter and has a wealth of knowledge to share. He lays out everything beforehand and gives you a few days notice on what his essay questions will be.

Professor Drumea was very kind and his class is very easy. Must attend and make sure you're awake because that counts as attendance and participation. I don't recommend buying the books unless you're really into the maps but he does include all information in PowerPoints. Overall, I highly recommend!

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! Took his Zoom classes and came out with an easy A. Quizzes and midterms are easy and material follows study guide questions emailed by professor. No lockdown exams, easy A class.

Although his accent may be hard to understand over a Zoom call, he has a strong passion for geography. No homework in his class except for a paper about a national park, which he grades very generously. Quiz guidelines are very clear and only the mid-term is proctored. He clearly wants his students to succeed, excellent professor.

Professor Drumea's class is not very hard if you put in a little effort. Quizzes and tests are open note, so no need to study that much. Attendance is a grade and group work every class, but it's interesting material and pretty easy as well. You definitely won't regret taking his class.

This class was amazing. Participation matters as there are in-class group activities in almost every class. We had 4 quizzes a midterm and a final exam. An extra credit quiz, which helps to boost your grade, so don't miss it. Amazing professor!

There were 4 quizzes and 2 exams. They are open note but, it can only be notes on paper, so I suggest you have a colored printer because it's a lot of notes and maps. He does say to get textbooks but, it's not necessary. There is one paper where you write about a country, but he gives you about 2 months to complete it and it's pretty easy.

Professor knows the course material well and his lectures were very interesting. I enjoyed learning about the world regions nature and economy.

He's alright. Straight forward and is there for the lecture, nothing else. Accessible outside of class and responds quick but doesn't help more than simple questions. Fend for yourself, and make sure you know how to self-structure. Work= 4 quizzes, 2 big exams and 1 term project. Oddly biased videos shown in class on the Swiss in WW2.

Professor knows what he is talking about, has essay questions in his test but he lets you know what they are before the test. Participation is part of your grade just as much as being present. I recommend him!

I have never met such an experienced human being in my life. Despite the THICC Romanian accent that he has (you'll get used to it the more you attend, honestly), he is the wow factor when it comes to geography. He has been to EVERY SINGLE place that the course teaches and has pictures of him at these places in his slides/ lectures.
