He passes out notes on the material you need to know. Plenty of opportunity for extra credit. He makes up GREAT examples and stories so you can understand main points (sometimes a bit graphic). Great sense of humor and teaching style.

Great professor! Makes things easy to understand. I recommend taking this class with a friend and splitting the cost of the book. You will rarely need it and the book is $$$. I took this as a summer class, and it was awesome. Phil is a lot of fun.

Very good teacher. Funny, smart, & helpful. Some essays but mostly lectures & tests. Tests are average in difficulty but if you study his notes for an hour or 2 it's easy. Grades pretty easy on the essays as well. Was an enjoyable class!

Very cool guy! Everyone told me that business law was a difficult class but he makes it fun and easy to learn. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone who needs to take BUS LAW. You have a whole bunch of quizzes, 3-4 tests (that are very short), and a term paper. Just show up to class and read his leacture notes and you will get an A

Phil is the man! Very intresting class. He has a lot of knowledge. Time flys by and it is a lot of fun. Don't really need the book but if you want to get the extra points on tests you have to get it! Take him, you will enjoy it

Phil is very organized teacher. Save some money and don't buy the book, because he hands out lecture notes that have all the information you will need. He is also very flexible when it comes to making quizzes and exams.

This class was overall easy yet, I was learning alot at the same time. He passes out hand-outs every chapter, which are straight from the notes and class lectures. You don't need the book and all you need to do is study his handouts to pass his tests. I highly reccomend!

Mr. Orr is a great teacher. You can relate to what he is saying because he uses real life examples. Loves nose candy, Britney Spears and the 80's a tad too much, but he a fun guy. Tests are easy as well as the term paper. Gives you the notes you need for the test so you don't need the book. TAKE HIM. Great guy.

Easy tests, read the notes and case law in the book. He likes to tell jokes that are kinda funny, but it makes class go quick. He gives you a 10 min. break during a normal 1:15 class.

He is a great teacher and he gives you all the notes for his tests and quizzes. Take his class because you even a get a break and the class is only an hour and 15 min. There is only one term paper due and we could choose from three different things, and we had over a month to do it.

I took this class because i was interested in the subject Great teacher, because he was so good with this lectures, minimal homework (Almost none), if i wasn't so busy with work i could of passed it with a A i never used my book once. Very nice guy, would highley suggest him.

Super cool guy! Fun lecturer, always has a great story to relate to every topic. Used to be an attorney and speaks with the clarity and enunciation of a great trial lawyer. Funny guy too! Easy class with no homework! Just a quizz/test every other week. Why take some other stuck-up law teacher when you can take Phil Orr? For Biz Law, TAKE NO OTHER!

The best! Super easy class. Just come to class take notes and make sure to get the handouts and study guieds provided for final exam. he does the work for you. The final assignment is super easy too! i though law was going to be a challenge but Orr knows we are all new and goes over the basics, good to know stuff! take no other!!!!!

WOW! I have never met a teacher who actually doesn't give any homework. He gives handouts that are just enough to help you with the quizzes and tests. You don't need to buy the book, just come to class everyday, write down everything he puts on the board and study. The quizzes and tests are super easy. You can't go wrong with Mr. ORR! He's the best

Mr. Orr is an excellent teacher, and he is cute too. His class is always interesting and entertaining.

Phil's class is very dry and boring. He himself is funny and does crazy stuff sometimes, but his class is TOO repetitve. I found myself constantly doing other things because it was almost impossible to pay attention. The final is horrible as well. If you want an instructor that actually teaches you something, my advice is to not take Orr's class.

Prof Orr is the BEST! This class is designed for you to learn the information and be able to retain it. He is extremely smart and helpful. The class consists of weekly quizes or exams, a term paper and a final. He designs the class for you to do well, if you dont get a B, you dont belong in college. I got an A!. Phil makes Bus. law as simple to understand as learning colors of the rainbow. He gives out notes on the chapters, which he goes over in class. I never once used the book. And b/c the notes and lectures are so simple: A's on all quizes and tests and the term paper. Hes super nice too. As said, if you don't get @least a B, you shouldnt be in school

This professor i really enjoyed his class he was very clear on when assignments are due. He was very helpful and informative he was very funny loved going to class and hearing the stories/ Exampled will take him again in fall if he is teaching a class i need definitely recommend him to anyone.

Phil takes pride in boiling down a complicate legal issue into something. Easy to understand. He only used the textbook for extra credit on teats. Even then you can make an educated guess and get most of them right.

This class was great, the teacher had a great sense of humor, always looking forward to his lectures, doesn't take row till end of class, only one big project and couple of tests and quizzes, very strict about cellphone on test days. Great teacher, never ever need or use the book, he gives you the notes and powerpoint slides,don't spend 200 on book

Great class very well explained by the professor. They class is very easy if you show up to the class and take notes every day. You dont need to buy a book because he makes his own notes and post them on blackboard for us to read. The class is not boring because he keeps up with stories and real life examples. If Orr could teach every law class, I would pursue my law degree. His lectures make learning law so easy. Also, if you don't like homework, he is the professor for you. Zero homework, just one term paper that is pretty easy. However, I could see how this class could be hard because he has a low amount of possible points, almost all from tests

I loved his BUS 125 class. No need to buy expensive textbook, his lecture will cover everything you need to know for the test. He is hilarious, he love using his own life experience in the lecture, which made it so fun and easy to understand

Amazing professor! He gave extra credit on every test and basically told you what was going to be on the next test. His class mentioned book required; however, you only used the book if his lecture confused you, which it never did. Very clear and straight forward. Seriously, best professor ever!

Hi everyone,just I want to give my evaluation of professor Phillip Orr, he's an amazing teacher, funny, serious in teaching, not require to buy a textbook, just you need to study his notes which he downs on the blackboard; in addition, notes that he writes on a black-white, and attention to his words. He has 4 tests and final, it's so easy.

Every thing you need to know for quizzes and exams are in his lectures. He posts his notes on blackboard so if you miss class the material is there for you to read. Very passionate and an amazing teacher!

Phil is hilarious. Tests are based on notes that he provides you. I honestly have studied 3-4 hours before, and have gotten good grades in the class. He also has a paper that he requires (although he grades easy on papers).

Easy class and you do not even need to buy a textbook. Just study the notes he posts on Canvas and you'll get a good grade (usually around 10 pages I think). I don't think he cares about attendance either.

go to the class , read his note , study the note before the exam and you will get A always give extra credit in the exams , his written exams are very very very easy usually he give full credit on those . i took the class with an other professor and i got F but with him i jumped to A+ I HOPE i could take other classes with him

I received an A in the class, which is easy to do as long as you keep up with the lectures and do the quizzes and the couple of assignments he requires. Professor Orr has taught this class for decades and it shows in the best ways. Curriculum is very straightforward and taught in simple language (which I really appreciate). While this is a lecture heavy class, lectures are only just over an hour long, so you won't get too bored. Great teacher, approachable, and passionate about what he's teaching.
