I love this class and teacher. He is one of the best teachers ever. He makes the class soooooooooooooooooo much fun. He sings and dances and dresses up and always includes the class with discusion. I would love to take another one of his classes.

any class that you take with him will be a treat. something to let you get away from the stress of the school term. you forget you're in a classroom. He genuinely cares for his students. trully a wonderful teacher and a person. :O)

this man in truly a blessing to us all. he is dedicated to his work which not only deals with teaching but human life. he will never be forgotten because he is what teaching and learning is all about.

The best professor I ever had! His classes are very entertaining. He is so down to earth. You feel like you are going to hang out with friends not going to a class. It was a great experience.

Fun class for a freshman!

Dr. Sigler is probably the best teacher at CSI. His classes are fun and he is a nice guy.

This teacher is awsome. I love going to his class. He makes the class ALOT of fun. It's impossible to get bored and he even gives you candy. LOL. I don't know of anyone disliking him. He's a great professor and a great guy!

He is a great professor who listens and teaches well when you dont even realize you are learning. He is also a great advisor... very honest and caring.

So easy...he gave a three questions before an exam and told one was going to be on the test...gives lots of extra credit and never teaches the class the whole time

I havent had a beeter class yet! Great guy great teacher! If your sick or late you can take class on speaker phone! His tests are right from the notes! Dont miss his class!

he knows the subject really well. He make sure that you understands the problems. If you know the meterial exams are strigt forwrd. Really nice guy

Very easy grader, he is getting a bit crazy in his old age. Some how he can relate anything to sex and incest. I LOVE THIS MAN HE IS A GREAT TEACHER THOUGH AND A REALLY SMART NICE MAN.

interesting class, very funny teacher. He calls his wife up in the class and has her talk to the class. Constantly talks about sex, and exposes everyone in the class.

He always gave u surprise funny things in his class, ex: singing, dancing, show ppl all his gifes(dolls)tat from his students, dress up the way tat pretend the character who he showed us the movie in the class, n he would invite his gest into his class.Easy Eaxm U never feel bore in his class!

you learn alot in his class that you can use through out your life. its a class that you just want to go to, he makes going to class so fun.

I had him many years ago and actually took 2 different classes. He is extremely intelligent, caring and funny. In intro to sociology it was more textbook work but in marriage and family it was a mixed bag of many different ways to teach the class. It was a honor to be in his class. I wish him the best in life as i became a teacher because of him.

great guy and fun class. No homework all semester. Doesnt follow textbook too much in class, but thats what the test are from. Teaches you things youll actually use in life. One of my favorite classes ive taken

He is one of the best professors at CSI. He really tries to help you out...his class is really fun and interesting, you learn a lot of just general life lessons. I really enjoyed his class and I hope I can take another of his classes. I highly recommend his class.

Very nice and Funny guy. His classes are fun, and he is extremely helpful towards the students. His tests are all multiplechoice, and have extra credit on all of them, and are all very easy. If you dont study you can get a decent grade, if you do study you will ace the tests. Its up to you to read the chapters though, but overall good prof to take!

Many people think he is boring but I learned that he is a very smart older guy whos experienced the real world. Hes a good teacher, easy tests, just need to read and pay attention in class.

He is very helpful, teaches life experiences, doesnt teach from the text, but all the test are from from the text and movies watched in class.Pay attention to what he says in class, because that on the test for extra credits. Easy A if u study the chapters and be attentive. Very funny. LOL.

Great professor extremely helpful and wants the students to do well. His tests are very easy, you'll pass easily if you dont study, and you'll ace the tests with A's if you do study. Amazing professor. Best class Ive ever taken. You might not learn much from the textbook in the class but you learn a lot about life in general. gives a lot of extra credit. Attend class, listen to what he says. thats it. he makes the class very interesting. You will WANT to go to class. its a lot of fun.

In the 3 years I've been at CSI, this is the only class I ever enjoyed going to. Awesome teacher and a great guy. Makes the class a lot of fun. To review for the tests he lets us guess which questions are on it from the textbook and gives us 2 points for every question we guess right. Definitely take him if you can. The class is very entertaining

This professor is amazing. He is very intelligent and funny. Textbook is used only for the tests but still u will learn everything there is to know about family, gender, relationships and everything. He is very caring about his students. Personally I can talk to him about my problems and concerns.

His lectures are very laid back and easy going. Class discussions are quite captivating. Most likely you will pass his class (it's hard to fail). He even gives out candy! P.S. He likes to make ****ed jokes on the multiple choice.

Best Professor CSI could have under there belt. He is caring, understanding and an all around great professor. He jokes with you and really make sense of everyday issues. Read is book its really good. His test may have a lot of questions but everything is from the textbook. Professor Sigler if you read this, just know your the BEST PROFESSOR EVER !

i had him years ago..he was by far the most complete professor a student can have, he utilizes the course material in various ways that make the class WANT TO participate, also the man has been through so much in his life(read his book, ONE STEP AT A TIME, great read)...he really is the best type of professor that a student needs, or even would wan

I JUST REGISTERED TO HIS CLASS-SO FAR.. AMAZING! HES SO OLD AND DOES LITTLE SONGS/DANCES FOR THE CLASS. IS VERY FUNNY AND INTERESTING.. HAS A MONKEY PUPPET... MAKES SOCIOLOGY EXTREMELY FUN.. IM ALWAYS EAGER TO GO TO HIS CLASSES AND WANT TO LEARN MORE. HES VERY CLEAR AND SO FAR MY FAVORITE TEACHER AT CSI! I ADVISE YOU TO TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

Literally the best teacher ever. 3 tests, tons of extra credit. so funny and interesting. definitly hands down take him!

Fun, open minded, smart, and intuitive man. His course is easy and interesting. Only drawback was being on a Sunday morning. Three tests (+ extra credit) which asks questions based on information from material covered in class and textbook reviews. Skip a day and it will only work to your disadvantage and deprive you of a good time. Final Grade: A

He is an excellent professor. One of the best teachers CSI could have ever asked for. I learned so much about the world around me thanks to his class. He tries his best to help everyone get an A but don't be surprised if he makes you think a little outside of the box. Bottom line is take his class get an A and learn something while you're at it.

Wise, approachable, funny. Class is really easy, no homework at all, and he mainly just rambles on about controversial topics that aren't on any tests. Make sure you have the book and highlight the terms and pages he gives you on review dates. He literally gives you the questions to the test. Also offers a generous amount of extra credit. Worth it!

Professor Sigler is hands down the most amazing and inspirational professor I had ever taken. I took him for SOC100 and fell in love with the way he engages with the class of almost 100. He truly makes it worth it waking up at 7AM on a Saturday morning. Also taking him currently for SOC220, even more of an interesting class. He's the best!!

Professor Sigler is an amazing person! His class can be an easy A if you don't mind studying. He gives you everything you need to pass all of his tests (as long as you participate in Guess the Question). He brings chips and candy to class everyday for his students. There are always opportunities for extra bonus points!!!!

Prof Sigler was so inspirational honestly he tells you all that he has done (wrote a book, kick out professors at CSI...) overall interesting class. Give a lot of extra credit! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!

This professor is one of the best in CSI. His classes are easy A's. He is very laid-back and friendly. Like to hear from students about their thoughts. He gives 3 Test all multiple choices and about 12 to 16 of the questions are extra credit. Some students say his class is extremely boring. although some classes we watch videos

I've taken this class on a Saturday. He can go off topic when he teaches but gives a lot of examples in the class. A LOT of bonus points and helpful . Test are based off the book . To pass his class get up and tell him what you need to study and there is the review . The best part is that he gives out candy before the class starts.

He and his assistant J-Rob are great and funny. They make class interesting and fun. You must go to class and get the textbook. The reviews before the tests are really helpful. The tests are really easy if you go to the reviews. Participation is also really important.

Super funny and a great story teller. Lots of reading from the textbook but he and his assistant JRob always give reviews pinpointing everything. Easy extra credit if you participate a lot. Old but still alert and lenient . His assistant is also very funny and they get along great as co workers. You can really see the chemistry. Interesting tests.

Jrob is professor Siglers assistant and he teaches most of the class. Sigler is a very cool professor and gives out candy on most days, Jrob is great as well and gives great reviews before the final.

Prof sigler is a warm, caring , respected man. He is an inspirational teacher and have had the opportunity of taking him 2x. Teachable life lessons and wants only the best for his students. Goes above and beyond! Values his students views and oppinions about life topics. Wish he taught more classes. Highly reccomend!

Professor Sigler makes you want to come to the class. He gives no homeworks, but you gotta read the textbook in order to do well on tests. He is funny and often gives life advises based on his life experiences. Would definitely take him again.

Professor Sigler is one of the best professors I had in CSI. He is not credited enough for his work. He really cares about his students and does everything to make you pass. All you have to do is show up to class especially on reviews for tests. He makes a 9 AM class enjoyable!

Easily the best teacher I've ever had in college. He's so funny, and made a long 3 hour class pretty enjoyable. If you ever have to take a Sociology class, you better take him.

NO homework. Read the book by yourself. He doesn't write any note and just talks. He is a funny man. But his lecture is difficult for freshmen because sometimes he talks deep. If English is the second language, think about it and try your best.

Wonderful professor! He really cares about his students and makes this course interesting! There are 3 exams for this course which cover 3 chapters from the text book per test and he also test. Grading criteria is very clear and he also shows interesting film clips about marriage and family! Take hi and you won't regret it!

He is a really good professor, he also tries to say jokes. Sometimes his class is boring but he is really nice. he gives 3 test in total. and options to get extra credit. He also bring candy and fruit snacks for the whole class.

I had the honor of taking Dr. Sigler's marriage and family course more than 35 years ago. He inspired me academically and was a source a encouragement at a time when I needed it most. I have been a psychotherapist and professor now myself for many years . I owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Sigler , who helped direct me to my career path
