Dr. E has a very condescending and belittling tone towards his students often times. His lectures focus very little on the subject and talks mostly about politics and treats you like u are stupid if you dont know everything about it. Course work overall not super hard but assignments are also very unclear on the syllabus. I would not recommend

The type of professor who can change your outlook on the world and your attitude toward art. He expects his students to be aware of current news and to put in work. He is difficult in his expectations but is worth it if you don't have an insane course load. He's the reason you go to college but you can't take 5 classes like this per semester.

Eliasoph is an eccentric professor who grades reasonably and encourages student input in class. It is important to really pay attention in lecture and read the few articles he assigns for homework. Other than that his essays are easy. Be sure to read the news or stay updated on current events, he likes to ask about that.

While hes a very nice guy, it felt like I was taking a politics class. Every class, he spends almost an hour talking about politics before we actually get into art history. Our midterm paper had absolutely nothing to do with art history. All politics too. Other major assignments include a comparative paper and a semester-long journal project.

Dr. E will come off as tough at first but he is a great professor who cares about his students. He cares and knows a lot about the material he teaches. There is a lot of writing that will be done, as well as studying, for this class. If you do the work and take notes you will do fine. Do not save all the work for the end of the semester.

Dr.E is such a good professor. As long as you pay attention during lectures when he talks to you and attend events outside of class, you are pretty much in good standing. He loves to talk about social issues and the work load is extremely light, only about 5 assignments the whole semester, the whole work load is based on participation in class.

Dr. E was easily my least favorite class I have ever taken at any level. He is very rude to students and looks to make an example of them. If you disagree with his opinion, then you are simply wrong, since his opinion is always right. In terms of work, the class isn't bad, but the lectures and constant political talks make the lectures miserable.
