Anyone who rates Prof Lau poorly is either not ready for the class, or is not putting in the necessary time for mathematics. Prof Lau moves quicky because there are a lot of sections cover. He is very willing to extend homework deadlines if life gets busy. Own your education and put in the work. If you do, Prof Lau is a good choice. I enjoyed him.

Professor Lau is a great professor and takes the time to help students who put in the effort. I would not recommend taking this class if you are not willing to put in the work or show up to class.

Take him! I am not sure why some reviews are bad he is very nice and his lectures are great! Im taking his online Math 150 and I recommend it! He gives MUCH less homework compared to other Math 150 professors. He exams are exactly and easier than homework. Gives extra credit. Its as easy as a Math 150 course can get.

Tough Class and has high standards for students. Failed his class and if I were to re-do it I would take the class with a friend to keep me accountable. He's also really blunt and has interesting stories.

Professor Lau has a specific teaching style, but if you engage with it, you'll learn a lot. Attend class, do the work, and use Unstuckstudy for helpful study prep - this class is manageable with effort.
