Very thorough with his lectures. Around 80% of the course is based off of uploaded modules on Moodle and 20% is based off of in-person lectures. No midterms, there was a final but it was 100 multiple choice questions that you can easily answer if you did your classwork. Overall, very good prof, taking him again for Psy 1020 :)

He does in-class activities to make sure everyone participates in some way. A lot of online quizzes, but they're extremely easy if you study the content/lectures. He grades based on 25% of the lectures and 75% of the course content. Very lovely prof, easily approachable and truly cares about his students. No midterms, just a multiple-choice final.

Professor Smith is truly amazing. He puts lots of effort into the lectures, and you can reach him easily. Psychology can be not so interesting sometimes, but he makes it entertaining and memorable.

I had such a good experience in Dr. Smith's class this semester. He has high expectations and pushes his students to do well, but he's also compassionate and understanding. This class consists of placement work and you are graded on 3 papers that you work on all semester. I highly recommend this class if you want to work in human services!

Dr. Smith's class was great and very easy to do during the summer semester. It was simple, with mini essays, short quizzes, discussions, and one PeerScholar. He was very funny in his video lectures, made the content interesting, and was caring as well, having online office hours every few days. I would definitely take another one of his classes.

Lots of assignments, but they were clearly laid out online. Moodle was very easy to navigate and allows you to work ahead at your own pace. Lectures gave lots of detail and he explained very thoroughly the material. Material isn't too hard to follow and he's very good for helping you get extra credit or improve a mark.

I've had Professor Philip for Psych 1010, 1020, and 2010. He's passionate about teaching and keeps his courses organized with a clear schedule. Weekly work is consistent but easy and manageable. Overall, he's a great professor, and I highly recommend taking his classes.

Very good Professor - does not provide slideshows, but slides are mostly talking points for interactive lectures. GO TO LECTURES - not mandatory, but should be. Entertaining, engaging, really helps the material stick. Lots of opportunities for marks; 2 mini essays, 1 discussion + response + 1 quiz PER UNIT, 4 Units + Final. Open source textbook.

4 "quizzes" but worth 15% each and 50 questions You won't get to see the quiz after. Other profs teaching the same course have no in person tests or final. Philip is a nice guy, but if you don't want to dedicate many hours to studying for quizzes, the final, several essays, discussion posts, etc., then I highly suggest you take a different prof.

Oh man he has been terrible this semester. You have assignments everyday except class day and even attending is compulsory if not ur 16% is gone. For one course this much of work load is stupid. I am taking much harder courses in which i get 70-80% always in quizzes. But for this mans quizzes its 50-55! He designs quizzes as if we are phd students2

You'll have to buy an online book for this course, but aside from that, everything's fair game. There's four quizzes totaling to 50% (12.5% each) and in-person class reflections that are worth 16%; aside from that, everything else is online and easy to get 100 in. If you mess up on your quizzes, he gives an option to rewrite two of them. Great guy!
