I loved Andrade's class! But to be honest it was almost too easy. He's very nice and helpful to the point that he word for word spoon feeds exactly what's on the test. No homework. Quizzes are easy terms from the book. Tests are easy because he tells you exactly what's on it. He makes class interesting, and is very knowledgeable.

Professor Andrade was one of the best teachers I've ever had! If you don't like poli sci, take him. His lectures don't put you to sleep and the workload is very reasonable; there's hardly any work to do. Quizzes every so often on 25 terms so make notecards and the quizzes are a breeze.

He is a good teacher, you need to take notes in his class to study from them for quizzes and tests, he doesn't give anything cumulative, he never recycles quizzes or tests, so everything is fair game. He uses alot of hand gestures, and i actually paid attention in class, this isn't my subject but it was interesting what he had to say.

His Scantron test and quizes are ridiculously easy while his essays appear to be easy before he grades them. He grades incredibly difficult on his essay exams. I found that he expects the in class essays to be perfect, unless it's just bias. In a nutshell, It's easy to get A's on his Scantron tests while it is hard to earn A's on his written part

I really enjoyed Mr. Andrade's class. He was very helpful and I learned a lot from him. I didn't even read the text book. All you need from the text are some vocabs for the quizzes. If you go to class and take good notes, you'll pass with a good grade.

Honors class is challenging. It is a lot of material to study for the exams. I did learn a lot though and participation is necessary!

This professor is really into what he is teaching so he is a good teacher. I am not into politics so it was really difficult for me and I had a hard time with this class. This got cut off from my last comment. Anyway you write two essays one for midterm and one for final but he explains it over and over so you get it. It was hard but I ended up getting a B hard work does pay off. And yes, he is hott like everyone says. Good teacher to take but make sure you study good for the tests. NO HOMEWORK!

Take notes; those are the answers to all the tests. If you don't pass his class your an idiot, he is that easy. He practically GIVES you the answers to everything. You don't really need the book except for some terms and a copy is available on reserve at the library so save yourself $60 or whatever it costs. Oh and he's Cute as hell, eye candy.

Easiest class ever. In my opinion, he has a liberal bias but is very discrete about it and he only showed it about twice during the whole semester.

You use the book for vocab, memorize it and you will pass the first half of the quizzes. listen and take notes on everything he says in class, you get the second half of the quizzes. no homework. very interesting and funny man. for the essay, he writes it out for you so all you basically do is memorize. Professor Andrade is in my opinion the best instructor to be taught under. Although, the criteria is high and many hours of study must be involved in order to obtain a top level grade, you come out of his class with much more knowledge than expected to receive.

Dr. Andrade has been by far the best professor i've had at SAC..he is extremely helpful and clear on everything. including what is expected on each quiz, and exam in the class. You really need to try to not pass his class

Professor Andrade is a master at his field. His style of teaching is clear and concise. I highly recommend taking him over any other political science professors, you'll not only learn a lot, but have fun while doing so. 4 quizzes 1 midterm(multiple choice/essay) 1 final exam (multiple choice/essay).

Don't buy the book - PPT lectures are used & is what the exam will be based off, therefore your attendance is crucial in order to pass exams. He gives study guides a week before the exam (4). The final is split in 2 parts - multiple choice on day 1 & essay on day 2. Cool teacher, & the class is chill. Offers some extra credit; take advantage of it.

In this class you have 3 multiple choice exams, 1 response paper and one Final divided in 2 parts 1 multiple choice and 1 in-class essay.We discussed in total 5 countries and oher issues like polit ideologies and globalization. Identity Politics was a very interesting class. Dr. Andrade is clear and knows a lot about his subject. The class is pretty easy if you attend class daily and take good notes from the presentation. Am. Political Thought was a good class! As always Dr. Andrade was very clear,nice, helpful and interesting. The only thing is that I felt that we needed to learn more things about the subject. I took him my first semester here, he's very helpful and is very interested in political science. There were a few exams and a couple writing essays (that were not hard. He is fairly young so he's not completely boring and monotone. The book is not even used, so I'd say not to buy it. I didn't put much effort or studying and got a passing grade.

He makes sure you understand basic important political concepts with clear-cut bullet points. This is one of those classes where you listen and take notes like crazy during lecture. He would go over terms again and again to make sure you get it in your notes. Review them and you will get a solid grade. Some textbook reading is needed.

My major is International Relations and I am so happy that I took his class. He is very funny and inspirational. You'd better read the textbook a lot but if you do, you would definitely get an A. I'm sure! You would only have one day to miss without getting points off. The tests are mostly based on your understanding about I.R. Worth your semester!

I was dreading taking this subject, but he made it very interesting. Very basic class, take good notes and pay attention. There are no quizzes or HW! What you need to focus on is the study guide and read over the textbook material. He assigns sections to read in the syllabus, but I got an A by just skimming over material he emphasizes. Andrade's lectures are so eye opening, u will leave his class having learned a little too much about politics lol. At least i did. Had for both 101&201, one of the best teachers I've had. Tests are tricky bc he words them weirdly(my opinion) but you learn to crack the code. Wow! I had a blast in his class! He was my first class as a freshman in college and I was so nervous. He goes over the syllabus and it is clear. The only way you can not pass is by not attending class or reviewing. I returned my textbook and used a loaner from SACs promise program (until the end of sem.) If not, use the librarys.

He was an amazing professor. He had given us a study guide to every exam. GradesTest Scores based. It would be difficult for you to fail this class when he gives you all of the needed material and topic 2 weeks prior to the exam. Every other exam had a 50 point free-response question that was answered during the lecture. Remote Lecture class.

Focus on the topic essay to write three paragraphs. Please use your note to write all the information from Professor Andrade's Lecture will be on test! I took 6 weeks Summer School! I passed!

I had thought that Political Science was a difficult subject until I took his online class. He is a fantastic teacher, all things you need to do is watch his lectures then you will get an A.

Professor Andrade is a very relaxed teacher. He is very lecture heavy and if you take his course online be ready to watch a lot of videos. He uses examples that you can easily understand and finds ways to make his admittedly boring ish subject fun.

Class was very easy and enjoyable!!

Participation is based on weekly discussion post questions based on the module videos: super easy to answer. Most of the grade comes from the 4 exams we take. Easy to pass, let's you use your notes and the videos to answer the multiple choice test and the 3 paragraph exam. Super easy to pass this class if you put even a minuscule amount of effort.

As long as you read the book and watch the lecture videos and take notes you will pass. He offers extra credit which is very easy. There is a weekly discussion board post that you have to answer for attendance and it is usually a question you have to answer based on the lecture videos or slides for that week.

I'm an international student so I have no idea about the American Politics at first. However, Professor Andrade's lectures are so informative and appealing to me since he gives many great examples for every concept. Definitely take him! One tips is to take good notes during class cuz he only put few words on his slides.

Completed an 8-week, online course and got an A. He is an OUTSTANDING professor. This was my first time going back to school in a long time and it was also my first fully online course. He is a an amazing instructor I highly recommend him. He provides a few extra credit questions on exams.

Overall easy class took it 100% online its like a 6 or 7 week class all you have to do is watch his videos and a simple question about it once a week, I never once touched the textbook got all information form the videos and it works for the exam.

Absolutely loved Dr. Andrade. He is very clear in his instructions and online lectures, and the reviews/study guides are great. Even for a one month long class, I didn't feel too overworked and his allowing of notes in the tests helped a lot. I highly recommend for anyone doing an accelerated politics class!

IMO international students should take his class, I am an old, slow learner and hate politics, English is not my first language but at least I understand and retain 50% of what he teaches compared to some profs at other colleges who just try to give students a hard time, so it is super easy class for American students. Take him, you won't regret.

Professor Andrade's POL101 class is a great option for any student, even those who aren't passionate about politics. The course material is straightforward, and the professor provides helpful video lectures and extra credit opportunities. unstuck AI can be a useful study tool alongside the class resources.

I loved Doctor Andrade's lectures, you can tell he truly loves his profession. He used pre-recorded lectures that were easy to understand and funny. You'll pass with an A if you put at least some effort into this class. He gives you all the tools you need to succeed - there are no surprises. I would love to take a class with him again!

Lecture videos were engaging and made it easy to follow along with the material.Exams were also very clear and well-organized. The questions directly reflected the material covered in the lectures so take notes.I highly recommend Professor Andrade for anyone interested in Political Science.

Sometimes I was overwhelmed by the amount of reading (textbook was provided online), but Professor Andrade hardly assigns any assignments so it allowed plenty of time to read. Very thorough lecture videos and powerpoint slides to accompany them. He provides everything you need to pass the class-pay attention and you will do great.

One of the best professors at SAC! The online class consists of answering a discussion board question (you don't need to reply to a student), reading, watching the lecture vids, & taking notes. Lecture vids are easy to follow because Dr. Andrade carefully explains the information. He provides a study guide for the tests, which is open notes/book.

He was amazing and offered a lot of help inside and out of class. There were papers, but he was super clear on how to do them and outlined them in his lecture videos. The tests were easy if you paid attention to his lectures. Overall, super amazing class!

The best professor ever. I am not exaggerating, but he is so easy to pass and his work is just one sentence answers per week, not kidding. I would take this class forever if I had to. Best class I have been in. 10/10.
