Best English professor!!!!!!!!!! Show to class, do all the assignments and you should receive a good grade. He is very passionate and a great professor. English is not my favorite subject but he made it very enjoyable. He tries his best to help his students with any questions or concerns. Wish there were more professors like him! I got an A :))))))

Professor Chamberlin is one of the best English teachers I have had in college! He is so funny, and he knows how to keep the class interesting. I believe he only teaches Saturday classes at southshore (not sure though) but trust me well worth it! If you do your part you'll definitely get an A :) Good Luck.

I enjoyed Prof. Chamberlin's class a lot. Participation and attendance is part of your grade. Very easy class, and easy to get an A as long as you do the assignments (which are easy) and show up. Only thing I didn't like is I didn't feel like he had much of a structured lesson plan. Everything we did seemed to be random.

This was an easy class as long as you do the essays. If you're not good at writing don't worry because he's very helpful. Professor Chamberlin is not very strict on late work but will take off some points if you don't attend classes. He makes it an interesting class and I would definitely take him again.

Chamberlin has been amazing in my online English comp 1 and English comp 2. His grading is not too harsh and everything, for me, was practically a completion grade. He has been very gracious with any late assignments. He has been a very good online teacher and is sure to keep good communication and give good feedback on what you should improve.

I took him online and he's wonderful. You obviously have to write a lot on in this class, but he choses really interesting stories and gives great feedback. He's there to help you instead of trying to make things as hard as possible.. Awesome teacher and an awesome class.

I had him for English 1 and he was awesome. He is very helpful and made the class entertaining. He does not give quizzes or tests but be prepared for essays and homework.

I took him for ENC1101 completely online and I received an A+. He is very clear and consistent when it comes to expectations and feedback. I wrote 4 project papers for this class and participated in a weekly discussion board. Usually you have a short journal to submit once a week.

Very clear on assignment requirements and the online format was setup so that it was easy to understand and follow. Provided a little feedback. An easy, easy A if you do the essays. Helpful and responded to my emails in a timely manner.

I really enjoyed his class, his instructions were very easy to understand. The workload was not bad, just a lot of writing with the essays, discussion boards, and journals. I would recomnend if you're looking for a low stress online english class.

Great educator. You definitely don't feel any kind of pressure in his class, open discussions are awesome and don't feel bad about sharing your opinion! Not a lot of crazy reading but none of the material is boring. Responds to emails rather fast, has a good sense of humor, is a really understanding guy. I enjoyed every class I took.

I work a crazy busy work schedule and hardly have time for school so I take most of my classes online. I have never been the best at English but I flew through Professor Chamberlin's class with an easy A. He was always there to help me when I needed it & the work was easy and not super time consuming. 10/10 would recommend and take again!

This is a writing intensive class but nothing outrageous. My semester has consisted of four essays total, weekly journal entries, weekly discussions, as well as lessons through LaunchPad. Everything is graded in a timely manner. As long as you put some effort into your work and complete all assignments on time, you should pass!

Teacher was great, the amount of work was exactly what I expected. He even wrote me a letter of recommendation for a scholarship even though it was an online class.

Professor Chamberlin was one of my first professors in college and I absolutely recommend him for anyone. Took him in class for both 1101 and 1102 and passed with A's in both. As long as you do your essays, journal enterprise and online stuff (not hard at all) you will do just fine. Going to his classes are actually fun. You won't regret taking him.

Professor Chamberlin is a great online English II professor. Everything is straight forward he generally post all assignments for the following week on Thursday evenings. There are three papers but they are super easy and are basically about your experiences and how it relates to the story on topic. Just stay up to date on Canvas and you are good!

Great Professor for Intro ENC. Clear directions, sends announcements and emails also sends reminders. Responds with any questions and grades pretty quickly. He does require a book, not a lot of reading. And get ready for discussion boards and essays every two weeks. Need about 12 hrs min. a week to do the work in his class, not hard. I enjoyed it!!

He is literally amazing!!!! I definitely recommend taking him for ENC 1102 online. I debated taking him online because it is an English class, but I'm glad I signed up for his class. So easyyyyy!! I loved loved this class.

He is amazing! He actually cares about his students and will help you with whatever you need. Really understanding. Homework is very straightforward and clear. As long as you keep up with the due dates, you won't have a problem. I hate English but I'm actually going to take him for English2 as well.

I took his ENC1102 class online. I've failed twice previously with other professors. I passed his class with an A. Super happy. He is wonderful and helpful. I enjoyed taking his class and recommend him to anyone. Only neg is that online work is posted on Thurs and due Mon and Wed. Not as convenient like an online class usually is. But he is cool!

This was my first on-line class and Professor Chamberlin set the bar high! He gives clear expectation in his syllabus, gives excellent writing prompts, gives excellent feedback when grading your work, grades fairly, and responds to any all questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend him and wish all of my teachers were like him!

Online class. Fair choice for a professor. My biggest issue with him was his due dates. Gives you 4 1000 word papers due during the semester and in my opinion not enough time to complete them. Posts on Thursday and the rough draft is due that next Monday in the Discussion board. Aside from that he is good, but not an easy A, be prepared to work.

This is the best online English professor I have ever had! I always get feedbacks for my writing and they are always supportive and imply that I have room for improvement! Easy class if you do your work. I literally lost my essay once by accident and he gave me extra time to finish. If his class is open, enroll as soon as you can!

I took Professor Chamberlin for ENC 1101 during the fall semester and LOVED his class! He made it really interactive and his passion for teaching really shines through. I took his 1102 online for the spring semester and had a great time once more. Definitely take him if you can, 10/10 great professor.

There is a lot of homework but I found the assignments interesting and enjoyed the class. He seems to care about his students and wants you to succeed. I would recommend him he is a very good teacher.

I took this online and i was a sophomore in high school when i took it and this professor made this class so easy!! Hes an easy grader and gives good feedback so you can fix your mistakes, the discussions are on topics that are interesting. Theres 3 essays, 9 journals, 9 discussions, and 17 easy online quizzes. Its not as much work as it sounds!

Very great, online course, replies back in timely manner with help. as long as you submit papers and do discussions you are guaranteed to pass. dont get discouraged by your writing someone is always worse at it then you. Professor Chamberlin was an extraordinary teacher. It was obvious that he cared deeply for all his students and the subject at hand. He was so kind and understanding concerning my psychiatric disability accommodations and went out of his way to be accommodating. He was also hilarious! Chamberlin gives you a lot of homework, but most of it isn't too bad. However, he only gives you from Thursday to Monday to do most of your homework, SO YOU CANNOT PROCRASTINATE. If you do, you may fail his class. There are three papers, but the first two are pretty easy. Chamberlin is an easy grader. He's a good teacher.

Professor Chamberlin is wonderful! You can tell he truly enjoys what he does. There is a lot of reading through the plays, stories, and poems book set you have to buy. Other than that and a few essays, most assignments are fun lighthearted discussions. He always does his best to answer questions. Not to mention, he responds to emails pretty fast.

He's an excellent teacher, very understanding. I took him online and he gave us the online textbook for free. All the info in the quizzes are in the specific chapter he gives. Discussions were 200 word minimum with 5 mandatory responses to classmates. For the free trial of inquizitive l was able to knock out every assignment before the trial was up

Chamberlin is a pretty good teacher. He's an easy grader, so that's nice. My complaint about him is that he puts up the work for the week on Thursday and only gives you until Monday to do almost all of it. Therefore, his classes will teach you how to write fast. Also, he sometimes takes forever to respond to emails. He's a nice guy, though.

Had him for online technical writing class. We had weekly discussions, a few major projects, and weekly reflections on the textbook chapters. Easy grader but gives good feedback and actually cares about students!

Professor Chamberlin is a great! His class was overall easy and he is very helpful and considerate. He does do a lot of discussions. They would be weekly, where you had to do your post with 250 words and you had to respond to 5 other people with at least 100 words. There was a paper about every 2 weeks. It is very easy to get an A in this class.

I am not finished with English 102 but wish I had taken him for 101, amazing professor. He is responsive and makes you think! Highly recommend Professor Chamberlin!!! Five stars!!!

ENC1101 was super easy. PC was very clear about what he was looking for in the assignments and gave clear due dates. He provided the text book free online. A portion of the curriculum was done on a site called InQuizitive. The first 2 weeks were free so if you finished all your task, you could complete that portion of the class at no expense.

Professor Chamberlin was one of the best professors I have ever had. Super caring and will understand your situation without questioning it. If you need help he will give it to you and if you missed a deadline because of something he will understand. His class was discussion post heavy and only a few essays but if you do it, you will pass.

I am planning on taking him again for ENC1102, even if I have to take his class online. He really cares about his students, and wants you to do well.

So far at HCC, Professor Chamberlian is the only teacher I'd want to take classes with again. He is extremely understanding and helpful. For my final exam, my paper never went through before the due date and he had no problem getting it fixed for me. He gives great feedback and tips on things you need to work on. Not a heavy workload.

Chamberlin is an amazing professor. He gives specific outlines of what's expected and gives helpful feedback. Every week there is a discussion in which you have to make an initial 250 word post and 5 additional 100 word responses. As long as you put in effort, you'll get a 100%. Sometimes there are quizzes from small chapters-super easy. 3 essays.

Very easy class because of how fun and easy Mr. Chamberlin makes it. I guarantee you you wont regret taking it for writing English or any other courses he gives.

I hate writing but I absolutely enjoyed his English Composition class! He gives fun topics to write about every week and always gives good grades! He is very involved in his class and always leaves detailed and helpful feedback to your writing. You can tell he really cares about his students and tries to help them however he can to improve.

Great Professor! Gives good feedback and gives chances to correct! There's weekly discussion posts with 5 peer responses you need to complete and an online program to complete weekly assignments in as well. It wasn't a difficult class but you have to put the work in! If you do your grade will reflect it! Highly recommend him, he was great!!

I took his class for ENC 1101 online and it was overall a 10/10. The only work we had to do was weekly Inquiztives, weekly discussions, journals, and essays. Throughout the whole course, there were only 3 essays. The discussions were very easy to complete. He gave great feedback and he actually showed that he wanted us to succeed.

Lots of busywork, reading, and writing - it should be an easy A otherwise. Chamberlin is a very patient, friendly, and understanding professor. My only major nitpicks are his tendency to drip-feed assignments, and the somewhat unclear grading system.

ENC1101 and ENC1102 were some of my favorite classes I've taken in HCC. Professor Chamberlin is a down-to-earth, friendly guy who truly wants his students to succeed. He is very generous with his grading, (even some of the students who didn't do as well as others still got participation points) and gives good feedback on how to improve. 10/10 !

Best prof ever. Has qualities youd want in a prof. English is boring but he made it fun. Easy work, not too much work. Gives resources. You have to spend $30 for Inquizitive if you don't get all the work done in 2 weeks. Discussion boards are easy and fun. Exam is easy, not what you'd think it'd be. Wants students to succeed. Essays=interesting.

By far the best proffessor to take an online class with, he is very organized, responds fast and genuienly wants you to do well. He is very forgiving as far as assignment mistakes. Workload consists of biweely discussions, responses and achieve work, alternating paper editting with more achieve work. Definitely would take him again!

He is amazing! This was my first semester as a Dual Enrollment student, and it was very difficult to adjust to a schedule. Towards the end of the semester, I hit a brick wall in motivation and fell behind in all my classes. Even with that, he was incredibly accommodating, and still took the time to give feedback on my work. He is also super funny!

Great class and professor. Assigned like 2-3 essays, and small assignments throughout the course. You have to buy achieve for the course. Really easy, I recommend taking him.

Weekly discussion posts, just meet the 200 word count and don't touch AI. Weekly quizzes, these are easy just don't overdue it with the confidence meter on a quiz you are mostly guessing, you can continue until 100%. I had 2 essays, one 500 word count narrative and one 1000 word count narrative + research. Final exam is fairly easy. LONG syllabus.

I would take him, easy class. He didnt assign much weekly. He lets you complete achieve work thats late. Simple discussions. 2 essays. Final exam was easy.

Had him for a 13 week online class (ENC1102) and he was amazing. Medium to heavy workload per week due either on Monday, Wednesday or Friday and had two essays and a final exam (split into sections, easier than the essays). I would recommend anyone to take his class especially if you're not as naturally good at English.

I took him for both of English 1 and 2. He does not take any points for late work and is willing to work with you when you need assistance. Discussion post weekly and when not it would just be inquisitive. If you want an essay class would definitely recommend him!!!

Great professor! The class was well organized and one of the best online classes I have ever taken. There are 2 assignments each week, a discussion and chapter work. Other than the normal assignments, there are 2 major projects and a final exam project. My only complaint is that he leaves many assignments ungraded until the end of the semester.
