Great professor!! Needs to teach more classes.

Good professor!! But, you will need good notes taking skills, lots of notes to take. Professor will keep you awake and entertained, though. Test and work are straight forward!

I thought the class would be BORING, but this guy is AWESOME. He is politically fair, argues both sides while respecting your political views and not compromising his. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This professor is fantastic. He gets the class involved in discussions and gets you exited about politics. He's young and can easily relate the material to the students. He does ask for a lot of writing but he also gives reviews for the tests he gives. No surprises on the test, if you study you'll get an A.

I would recommend everyone to take this guy! He is young and cool and makes a boring subject interesting. One midterm, one final and a gordon rule paper. Could not have been an easier class.

Great professor, easy class. It gets pretty interesting and stays fun, unless you get caught talking/whispering ;) The work is very straightforward and easy! Exams are reviewed for pretty well, so no worries. I definitely recommend this class to all. Good luck and enjoy!!!

It's not that this is an easy class like some of the other students said, it's just that this professor makes learning easy and enjoyable cause he knows what he's talking about and breaks down difficult concepts to understandable bits of information. Just started his class a few weeks ago and it has quickly turned out to be my favorite class.

I took Summer B American Government at the Glades campus. It was an excellent class. I learned a great deal more than I anticipated. Professor Mancusi graded fair and gave out adequate tests and assignments. I will be taking his Political Science class in the fall.

He makes the class extremely interesting. He sounds like the turtle off of Finding Nemo (No JokE). I really enjoyed his class. I would recommend him to anyone. He is very fair but expects the work to be done. He gives short writting assignments but they aren't boring to write about. A+++ Love him and would take him again. Tierney

Prof. Mancusi is excellent. He is a true college professor so don't take his class if you are looking for a handout. His class is not hard, just read the chapters, participate in class, and make flashcards-you'll be fine.Listen when he tells you about the margins! He's not kidding. He will push you to learn, but is there to catch you. He's My fav.

Did someone really just complain that Professor Mancusi expects you to have the proper format on papers AND...OMG...turn them in on time. Welcome to college. He actually taught all of us how to do APA style when not even my ENC 1101 or 1102 teachers did that. Just took the final, ACED it, great discussions and a lot of fun. A++++ Teacher!!

I have no idea how people don't like this guy. His class was amazingly easy A, AND informative. Gives ALL info for the 2 quizzes, 6 short papers, and 2000 word research paper on the first day! The only other two assignments are the midterm and final for which he gives SUPER easy reviews! And honestly, if he makes you feel dumb, it's you, not him.

Mr Mancusi is awesome!! He is NOT opinionated. Do what he says and you'll have an A. I did not but that was my fault. Everyone has an opinion when it comes to politics but he preaches independence.

He is a GREAT teacher! He is very clear about the guidelines for the class and has all the info for the two quizzes in the syllabus. He handed out a GREAT review for box exams and there was never anything on the test that he didn't go over in class. For those who are complaining about proper format strictness: GROW UP. THIS IS COLLEGE.

IF ANY ONE FAILS THIS CLASS ITS FROM COMPLETE LAZINESS. He is a funny, easy going guy and really makes sure that everyone is clear on every paper or quiz and tells you the best ways to study for them. I actually enjoy his class because the stories he tells really make you laugh. So if your not into government he will really change your perspective.

Great professor. Makes class fun and interesting. All of the study guides for quizes will be on his syllabus so you have more then enough time to study. Theres four 700 word assignments and two 2000 word gordon rule papers. Follow directions and you'll do good. Dont wait till the last minute.

Prof. Mancusi is the best! The few people whining must not listen or try. The first class he explains assignments and when they are due! He also has study guides made for you. If you study them, it is impossible to fail. If you apply yourself and show up for class you wont regret taking him. Great professor!!

Professor Mancusi is a must-have government teacher! His lectures aren't boring and often involves his students! Only 2 quizzes, 1 final, some one paragraph writing assignments, and the term paper! He's clear on what wnts and willing to help :)

The class was not hard at all. The only reason I got a C was because I did poorly on one quiz and the midterm, which was my fault because I chose not to study. For each quiz or test he has an app that you study from and if you actually take the time to study from it, you will pass. He is funny and nice but does not give any kind of extra credit

Good teacher knows his field. There are several number of papers to write for this class. Tries too hard to be cool and funny and gets butt hurt if you don't laugh at his jokes. It is an easy A if you try.

Be prepared for hard work! He is a tough grader and expects everything perfect. Don't be late and don't miss class or he will drop you. Not a recommended class.

This was a great class. Lots to do but lots of study guides online. Term paper, but he gives you a sample and a template, online quizzes are open book and there are study guides for both in class quizzes and exams. Nothing tricky, no surprises, everything is straight forward.

This was a really good class. It was awesome to take during the election year. Sometimes the workload is a lot, but its manageable. There quizzes, tests, and response papers that are easy. The hardest part is the term paper but if you work on it periodically, it isn't too bad at all

Professor Mancusi is an good professor. He gives four tests and two quizzes and two-term papers (1000 words each). He gives you a study guide for the test which helps but you need to study. He does have weekly online quizzes but they are really easy and most of the answers are on quizlet. You don't need the book just buy the revel access code.

Amazing all-around Professor, I had to withdraw because of all the HW's. Mancusi's teachings, and the books don't really correlate to Revel online assignments. You must learn from him, read the book, and analyze further to complete Revel online. Overall he is an amazing prof who becomes a father, only because he really wants his class to succeed.

He is a funny and nice person, but be ready to self teach yourself everything for the exams and quizzes. Simply if you dont have time to study dont take him ! What really help your grade is the attendance and the writing assignment which are easy .

Amazing lectures, but have nothing to do with the test. You self teach yourself, but provides a study guide. Two quizzes where you memorize all the amendments and supreme court cases (Easy A). 2 writing assignments (Easy A). Show up to class everyday on time (Easy 100 points right there) tests can be hard, but you will get an A if u get a C on them

he provides you with all the materials to get an A, his study guides are exactly like the tests, his lectures have nothing to do with the tests but he does teach material that's applicable to real life. Easy A

Has 4 tests, 2 quizzes which he provides study guides for. If you use the study guides, you will do AMAZING. You can't go based on his lectures to do well on the online quizzes, you will need to read the textbook.

He sets you up for success right from the beginning, tells you exactly what is expected of you, when you should start studying for stuff. You definitely need t do Pearson revel hw and printing out the powerpoints and exam review helps so much on tests! & that's what he tells you to do anyway! He's extremely knowledgeable in this area. the first class, you'll love him, the rest of the semester you'll sleep on him. same bs all the time. you'll never see anything new besides the same chart and the same lecture for every class. Revel is a pain in the a. He's cool but after the 3rd class its boring af. final test is difficult, and attendance could make the difference between an A-B

He's a great teacher makes it clear from the first class on grading style and how to pass the class. Attendance is a grade. Must do online revel every Sunday.

he definitely sets high expectations at the begining of the semester and eases up as the semester goes on. I kinda needed that. Gives reminders for exams and quizzes. Very passionate and not biased which is nice.

This Professor made class interesting and related the content to everyday life. He is very easygoing and cares about his students. He makes it very clear what his expectations are for class which are not hard at all! as long as you show up to class and listen you're sure to pass. his exams go with the PPs and most other tests are open book

There is NO Homework in this class! His expectations for the class are super easy as long as you show up and read the PowerPoints you'll pass for sure. he is a super easy Professor and overall a really funny Guy. I would definitely take this professor any chance I have. most tests are open book and the exams go along with the PowerPoints

Professor Mancusi was my favorite professor so far here at Palm Beach State. He interacts with the students and communicates so well. All his classes were super interesting. He doesnt give busy work, which a lot of professors do for no reason. Not having busy work helped me be able to study more. I highly recommend him !

Awesome class. I hate government and wasnt looking forward to this class (which I had to take) and Im glad I did. Professor M is very accommodating and helped me work through a few technical issues I was having. Learning a lot and considering a pre law major now.

Good class. Talked about a lot of cool topics, lets you use power points for exams and everything else is pretty easy.

Hes awesome. We had discussions among students during our lectures and its really nice hearing how different or similar opinions among our peers can be. There were 4 exams, all based off PowerPoints that were lectured in class,he makes them available, there are 2 writing assignments. Quizzes can be tricky but you get the hang of it. Get the book!

Professor Mancusi made the class sessions great because of the discussion we have between students. Show up to class, do your assignments only two essays which are easy A's if you follow the instruction and do your research. Tests are not that hard especially they are based on the power points which are accessible to us. Be a responsible student.

I received a C in this course but I can say it was either because I didnt study for quizzes or waited until the last minute to write essays. He does give open book exams and your allowed to use power point notes, but sometimes those were the hardest ones. Come to class and study youll do better than a C. You can tell he enjoys talking politics.

Homework is pretty easy. He gives open-note tests and only 2 papers. His lectures are funny and informational.

Professor Mancusi is great professor. Doesn't assign homework. Only 2 easy papers to do. Has a bunch of tests, but ALL open notes. Print out the power points and take notes in your textbook, you can use them on tests. The course schedule is your bible! Please read it daily! And your class might end up on the news (good reason)!

Professor Mancusi cares more about discussion and understanding over textbook spouting. He discusses not just the material, but its real world implications to the average person. Talks about both recent and historic events, smack-talks all political sides. Left still not knowing his political views. Few things are graded so make them count.

Really good professor to be honest. He gives you a lot of time to complete main assignments. They are 1k words each ones but are only 2. the tests are usually open notes so you won't have any problems with him. I recommend him for political science. definitely a great professor.

Mansuci is very likable guy, government is not the most interesting topic but I still looked forward to going to his classes because he made it entertaining and liked him as a person as well. Open note quizzes and tests, 2 papers, that's about it, highly recommend him.

He gives a lot of tests but all of them are open books. The textbook is mandatory bring it with you to every class He is very funny and caring and he makes lectures fun and easy to understand. He gives two big writing assignments that you HAVE to do or you will fail the course, but they weren't that bad it's doable, and STUDY it comes in handy.

He made use do 2 one-thousand-word essays and we had a quiz and exam after every chapter we finished. His quizzes are open textbook, and his exams are open notes.

The only downside is attendance is mandatory. Otherwise, he is amazing. His lectures are amazing and does not read off of a PowerPoint. There is only two assignments to do at home and you have plenty of time to do them. It is two 1000 word essays. All tests except for one is open book/notes. Class is really easy to understand if you show up ready.

He allows students to use open notes and textbooks for quizzes. He is very neutral when talking about anything subject. He cares about students getting into class on time. But if you come to class late it will be a 1 free pass but next time it will be points off. And at the beginning of the semester, it is tough but slowly gets very easy.

Honestly the best professor I have ever had. He explains things so well and makes topics very clear to understand. I would take this class over and over again. Make sure you take notes since majority of tests are open book. Don't be late to class or miss class!

This professor is excellent. If you're looking for an easy A this isn't the class for you. He's demanding but really good at what he does. Funny and strict, he follows his schedule exactly. Punctuality and attendance are a must. If you study and turn in your work on time, you'll pass. I'd take his class again for sure.

Tests/ quizzes are all open notes and textbook, so very easy, the tests get easier as the sem goes on. 2 at home assignments 1000 words but gives you 7 week to do them, so plenty of time. There are a bunch of tests but they are open note. Except for 3 of them but he does provide a quizlet and it is the same thing. Attendance is mandatory, unless you are dying or a family member is dying, you are not getting out. Still a very easy course and he ends class 10-15 minutes early

I really liked that this class was very straightforward and minimal. No homework or assignments. Just show up, pay attention, and study. Your grade is a reflection of your effort in studying for the exams/quizzes. Professor Mancussi is also very neutral when it comes to politics. Use your resources effectively and it's an easy A!

I took him for an Honors course so it may be different, but the professor was amazing and phenomenal, he teaches very clearly and goes in depth. The only main thing is study for his test and you will do amazing in his class. I truly did enjoy his very funny and nice teacher. In my clarity to be engaged and participate.
