This professor is fantastic. He gets the class involved in discussions and gets you excited about politics. He's young and can easily relate the material to the students. He does ask for a lot of writing but he also gives reviews for his tests. No surprises on the test, if study you'll do well. He is definitely worth the drive from Gardens.

He was a very interesting teacher, but he acted like he knew it all. Very opinionated and sometimes doesn't want to hear his student's point of views. I had fun in his class though, and I learned quite a lot.

AWESOME CLASS! Take notes and Tackle the Mid-term and the Final and you'll come out with an A. Some people found his exams pretty tough, but I thought they were pretty easy. Just study and make the REVIEW GUIDES. Overall, an interesting and excellent professor. Fun and enjoyable. Wont put you to sleep. I came out with an A. Hotty with a BODY!

Professor is very funny! I was never bored and enjoyed going to class. You have to learn over 30 Court Cases (which I found hard and pointless). It did help me a bit with the midterm and final. I learned a lot of things including all of the articles and amendments of the constitution. I recommend!

Professor Mancusi is very organize and has a passion for teaching. He makes the class interesting and has a wealth of knowlege. A great teacher! Take his class, show up,do the work, you will learn alot and get a good grade.

Honestly, I'm really not a fan of government classes, but he did a good job of trying to make the subject interesting. He's very fair. Gave us the opportunity to pass the exact same quiz three times. He gives good reviews. You have to study and you have to do the work, and you can pass. Now I know the constitutional amendments front and back!

wonderful professor, has a real passion for politics and is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about teaching it. He updates his class as often as possible about current political events, and he makes the class very interesting. You definately will not fall asleep because he enjoys cracking a few jokes as well.He gives alot of writing assignments

Extremely clear class....he can teach without boring u, lets u out early, sometimes way early....but be carefull getting in his bad side , because he will sort of screw u if not carefull(turn most of ur work in)But otherwise he is very nice and his class is very very interesting....not boring at all!!! he clearly knows his stuff!!

Awesome! Mr. Mancusi loves his job and the subject he teaches. He expects you to know the information and gives comprehensive tests. He does a great job teaching and keeping it upbeat and interesting. I look forward to taking him again for Pol. Sci. His class is worth it even if you're not required to take it! Enjoy!

When I tell you this man is awesome...he is great at what he teach. Professor Mancusi know his stuff. If I could I would take him again. He is a fantastic teacher, take mancusi if you want to learn something he always keeps the class interesting. If you dont want to learn I recommend a nother class.

I loved Mr. Mancusi. He's hilarious! The class is easy if you come to class, do the assignments and cooperate with him. He give 6 different assignments, which were one page each, and were easy. Some stupid students didnt do them. Ignorance! Just do the work and enjoy Professor Mancusi's class! I'll be taking him for political science too!!

makes politics fun and easy to understand and the assignments help u understand politics a little better ALTHOUGH he does appear to be SUPER arrogant.. ugh, it got kinda old. i didn't notice him picking favorites but he does mention that participation is mandatory so it wont hurt to speak up a bit or ask questions. EASY class if ur committed to it

Mr Mancusi is awesome!! I don't see how anyone could do bad in his class. I took POS 1001 Wed Nights and he really got me interested in politics. He's funny, jokes around with everyone & we had a blast in class. I absolutely can not see how people think he's opinionated and really taught me to think of government and politics with an open mind.

I got a B in the class. Not sure how I DIDN'T get an A. It was a very easy class to pass. GET THE BOOK. He gives you a review for the midterm and final which are identical to the actual tests. Gives 2 quizzes that are very easy as long as you can memorize. And the 6-pg term paper isn't all that bad either. I enjoyed his class and recommend him :)

Not sure which class the previous reviewer took, but it couldn't have been Professor Mancusi's. Professor Mancusi hands everything back graded, posts writing assignment grades online and gave all of us a sheet at the start of the semester so that we could track our own grades throughout the semester. FANTASTIC CLASS and FANTASTIC DISCUSSIONS!!

He is a great professor. If you read and follow the syllabus you will have no problem in his class. Make sure you pay attention though. I recommend him!!

I took him last fall hes So easy and his classs is fun. Papers are simple. He gives you answers to tests, just study. Simple Attendance policy. Open book final (only time I used book). Completely recommend, if y don't get an A it's your own fault.

Very clear expectations, puts both quizzes in the syllabus, gave reviews for both exams and let us use the book and notes on both tests. AWESOME!

Professor Mancusi is an amazing person, so much to talk about, so little time. He is very interested on debate to make his students react to important subjects such as abortion, gay marriage, and the second amendment. He does not try to tell us to think his way, but want to make sure that we all get involve and that we understand politics

No homework. 4 short essays (700 words each), 3 quizzes (exact answers on the study guide), 1 paper (2,000 words, DO NOT procrastinate)and a midterm and a final. He gives a study guide with the exact questions in order. You just have to look up the anwsers.

Amazing lectures, but have nothing to do with the test. You self teach yourself, but provides a study guide. Two quizzes where you memorize all the amendments and supreme court cases (Easy A). 2 writing assignments (Easy A). Show up to class everyday on time (Easy 100 points right there) tests can be hard, but you will get an A if u get a C on them

4 tests, easy A. 4 quizzes which are based off of memorization, easy A. 2 essays (1,000 words each) easy A, graded on completion. Attendance is 100 points so that's an easy A. Extra credit on. Lectures have nothing to do with tests. To pass the tests just do the reviews. Honestly this class is an easy A if you actually study and do the work.

This was a great class! Talked about the election, the census, always emailed me back. Not at all biased which was also nice! Highly recommended.

Awesome class. semester started slow but we had some great discussions lately and a really cool guest lecture on civil rights. Tests are ok, study power points. learning a lot about government.

Professor Mancusi was by far the best government teacher ever! He is extremely passionate about what he teaches, and he truly cares about his students. The entire class is laid out on a chart with the dates, the assignments & tests, and even the value of the assignments in points. He also uses a lot of his teaching time to make sure we understand!

American Gov may seem like a boring class, but Professor Mancusi made this class so much better! He's funny and his lectures are always very entertaining. He doesn't give much homework at all and his tests are easy if you study and follow along. This class can def be an easy A if you put in a little effort. Overall, take his class if you can!!

Professor Mancusi is very clear on his stance when it comes to American Government. Whenever he lectures, I can always understand and grasp what he's teaching. He is very straight up with his work for the semesters and the test is not that hard as long as you have + study the PowerPoint. The book he recommends is also very cheap and helps.

hard professor. he grades hard, but he is great & understanding. open&honest. you will literally learn so much about the course and real-life by taking him. very controversial in a good way. attendance and textbook are required. tests are hard, extra credit offered, PUT TIME INTO YOUR PAPERS. very fair professor as long as you understand material.

This class is relatively easy if you pay attention to the detailed schedule of the semester that he hands on the first day of class. He gives six weeks to do the essays, and the tests are open book. His lectures are engaging, and he knows how to keep students entertained. I would take him again if I could!

Professor Mancusi is a great professor. I recommend him to all of my friends. He is funny and laid back. There are open-book tests and one essay due every semester. He is not a harsh grader and is more of a friend than a professor. He is fantastic, and if you are considering taking him, you should.

I had Professor Mancusi for American Gov and he was amazing. Two big essays but he gives you more than enough time to complete. Open book exams and tests. Lectures are straight to the point and very helpful. Very strict with attendance so if you plan on missing class your not gonna pass. Definitely recommend regardless!!

Professor Mancusi is very caring and fair, he has very informative lectures which help with the tests that he gives. It is very easy to pass his class you just have to be willing to put in the time and effort for your grade. Attendance is also mandatory but each class is super fun and full of so much information. take him if you need this course.

His class is very easy. Just follow his instructions and you'll do well. All tests and quizzes are open notes. Only 2 easy writing assignments require you to use the textbook. He's also very big on not using AI for those essays so don't do it or you'll fail the class.

He is a wonderful man and he links in the things you are learning with today's experience and I believe that is wonderful. All test and quizzes are open note so you can't really fail and two writing assignments that are extremely easy.

Prof. Mancusi is one of the best instructors I have had the pleasure of learning from. You can tell he actually takes the time to not only make his lectures interesting, but will make connections to show how certain events relate to the subject matter. My only regret with him is that I do not have the opportunity to take another one of his classes

Proffesor is nice and funny, respectful. Shows his views without showing bias. Not a heavy class, but make sure to pay attention to power points, highligh the book!! and really study the book because the assessment for the book are kinda hard but easy if you study. Open book tests and assesments. Always try and always ask, he likes to answer.
