I took the online 5 wks. He keeps you busy with the assignments due every week, but it helps you learn and understand when it comes to the test. He gives feedback for the term papers. I got an A for keeping up and doing the assignments required. Test is passable if you read the book and do the assignment.

People on here are being exaggerated! i took him for the mini session and he is a great teacher, if you have any questions he will answer them for you. we used aplia and on there is the textbook. to understand his class better read the chapter before class so you know what he is talking about. he does talk mono tone but he cracks jokes here:)

I would definitely recommend this professor!!! I took his class online, it was quite loaded - homework (aplia), 3 essays (4th if you want extra credit), 4 exams (incl. final), but very helpful. Lectures are very clear (PowerPoint), homework on aplia helps better understand the material. You do have to study to get a good grade, but it is worth it!

The class was alright, the professor was good. I took it online. You got to keep up with the assignments, then quizzes. There is Exams and they can be a bit tough. The last assignment is a paper. Made a B in the class.

Not sure why this professor has such a low rating. He gives you all his expectations at the beginning of the semester. There is quite a few homework assignments every few days, but the material it covers is almost always on the tests. Extra credit is built into the course via discussion topics. Take him onlne and do your work! Good professor!

It was a 3-week-class that I took for credit. Everything was settle up in a website. It was difficult, but by doing the assignment anyone can past that class. I was expecting a low C. I end up with a B.

Nice professor, with a gentle nature. All the HW and exams are on Aplia except the in class presentations, one's a PP group project and all were relatively easy. He'll extend assignments if you fall behind.

For the online summer course, it's actually pretty easy. Just do the aplia assignments, discussions, and the paper and it's pretty simple. I am taking another online course this summer and still am able to have some free time.

Most of his assignments are online through Aplia and that's what generates a lot of homework. It's not overbearing because the assignments usually have between 3-10 questions (3 attempts each question). This is my second time taking him, 2301 (B) & 2302 (so far i still have an A). Also graded based off tests, discussions, and Final. Easy class.

Took Dr. Tussing for summer I 2301, he is a great professor that will give you feedback on your assignments, which is great! As long as you keep up with your assignments you should pass!

This guy really cares and I found micro interesting so it was easy to read the book. Also the book and all assignments were online so it was a lot easier to read anywhere.

Professor Tussing's class was easy. He did have a lot of assignments, but they took little effort. Buy the textbook. He responds to emails relatively quickly. I took his 3 week class, so there were assignments almost every day. The final paper (5 pages) was too specific, but if you start it early, you'll be fine. My final grade was a 107.

Took Dr Tussing for Summer 2. Grading criteria is pretty straightforward. Total weighted score is 110% instead of 100%. Lots of homework, but class is easily passable. He also gives great feedback on discussions and papers. I would take him again if needed.

Course stays true to syllabus. He is responsive to emails. Most of the work is done through eBook resources and modules. More than enough assignments for over 100 pts. Professor Tussing gives insightful feedback on all papers and discussions. Keep yourself organized and aware of due dates. Read chapters, review PP, watch videos, and do your work.

This professor is absolutely a gem, I took him for an online mini winter session and did not regret it at all. The homework is pretty straightforward, tests are easy, one final, and one paper. I highly recommend anyone to take this professor.

I am telling everyone like I did before. Take Phillip because this is the best way to pass this horrible subject. I WENT IN knowing nothing and came out knowing nothing. But the point is I passed. Gives goodfeed back and no need to buy the txt book!!

He's very professional and respecting. It's rare to find a university level professor in HCC. I've learned many new things from this class. So basically all homework and assignments are Online except the presentation and the Final exam. The final exam was very easy he gave us 200 questions, 50 was in the exam. Easy A and gaining knowledge.

Take him online , you won't regret it. Class was mad chill. Online discussions, home work that you get to do three times per question for the highest grade, one paper, test was decent & time consuming.

He is ok. Just working hard as much as you can.

I took him for an online summer course, best decision I took. Very knowledgeable profesor gives great feedback. He does assign a lot of homework and tests every week but theyre simple assignments. One major essay and a few discussions all pretty simple as well if you follow instructions. Just keep up with the work and youll do fine.

I spent 5 weeks doing my Dual Credit course for Professor Tussing, and he was a great professor. I turned in my paper a week late and under the mandatory word count and he still gave me a passing grade! He's super nice and would definitely take him again!!

I took prof. tussing in the summer for 5 weeks. I got to say it wasnt bad at all. I finished the hw within 3 weeks and the rest of the remaining time I used for my paper and final. I usually procrastinate with my essays but I for sure wanted to get this out of the way. Got an A. Easy class. Also a few discussions.

you don't need the textbook for this class. there is a 5 page essay which he grades easy on. ALOT of hw but it's all worth it because the Hw can help you get a 110 in his class. I ended this class with a 100. Final is 50 questions and its pretty decent.

I took the 8 week class online, and there was at least 3 to 4 things do each week, which chegg really help me out with. The hardest part about this class is keeping up the homework, and the 5 page essay. I would recommend his class online but the 16 week term.

Lots of assignments but you can pass even if you decide to wait last minute to do them. He's a very easy grader! To be less stressed, just take a day out of each week and complete the assignments for that week. You can also get the old version of the book since it's the same stuff and do the inquizitives before free trial ends. Also an easy paper!

I took ECON2301 regular term. Inquizive and homework are manageable. He is willing to help if you have any questions. We had one group presentation which was a bit short of time because he did not talk about it until a week prior the due day. He gave 200 review questions with answers, so just do it and you'll be great on the final. Easy grader.

Tussings online is good but lots and lots of work! Too much! Especially if youre in other classes! Dont get behind on your work! There is assignments due just about every week! 5 page essay due which is graded easily, 200 question final review, and a 50 question final do the review and you will pass the final! He does give you great feedback!

I just took his online class and he has 3 assignments due every week and sometimes a discussion. One major paper, easy grading though. Gives you a 200 final review at the end of the semester and your final is 50 questions from the review. I would take again!

There is a lot of homework in his class. I recommend taking him online and getting started on the 1200 word essay early, and turing everything on time and you should have no problems get an A.

I took this for second start spring 2019 online. it's A LOT of work in that amount of time. But as long as you do it all on time, you'll pass. I recommend picking an economist from his list for the paper. I chose one not on the list and it ended up being very difficult to write about because the concepts were advanced. He will read and critique it

He is good to get A because he gives 110% for the total. BUT its too much homework for me. Final exam is from his review. The essay is the huge part, but he grade it easy. I was under 90, but the final fit me over 90. I did not have the presentation for online class.

It makes me happy to see the few, passionate about teaching @ HCC. Early in the Semester, Prof. Tussing correlated the video for "Irreplaceable" - Beyonce to Inelastic Demand (economics concept)! The easiest A ever. take him if you want to get an A. his tests are so easy and the final as well. He is a good person. there is a lot of homework but it is easy. just study the PPT he gives you for each chapter.

Online course, assignments are posted along with due dates. You can work ahead except for test, which I would advise. Clear grading, some feedback given on paper and discussion. Do all work, as long as you work ahead your guaranteed an A. Wise choice.

Professor Tussing's class is not hard just tedious. All the chapters had an inquisitive and smart work assigned to them plus 5 exams. With that being said they are easy just as long as you keep up with the work you should be fine.

Out of 15+ classes at HCC this was my favorite off input alone. I had professor T in person and online. Thought economics was annoying going in, came out loving it. Key to A is keep up with assignments they will add up. Dont be afraid ask him, great guy. Miss a hws few say goodbye to an A. Highly recommend to students seeking value

Professor Tussing is amazing! He is a very good teacher, and the work he gives is easy, you just have to stay on top of it. Make sure to do every assignment, because they count. I have never liked economics because I thought it was hard, but now I do, and I literally ended up with a 99 in his class. TAKE HIM!!

Prof. Tussing is so gentle and cares about his students. His teaching is very inspirational and eye-opening. Needless to say, he's a real expert in the subject matter. He doesn't read from the textbook, he always adds nuggets of knowledge, which makes the class very enjoyable. Heavy workload though, but an easy A is guaranteed if you do your HW.

Prof. Tussing is very responsive to email. He was very understanding. He leaves useful feedback for the discussions. For the Final, he will provide a 200 question review. If you study that, then you will have an easy time with the Final. I took his class in Second Start so the deadlines were quite hectic but were overall manageable.

this is my second semester taking this professor online. If you complete all of your assignments you will get an A. One thing i will say is if your main focus for your major is economics, try and not take online because you will have to teach yourself. BTW, there is one group project near the end of your semester.

Great professor. Super caring and easy to understand. Just complete all the assignments that can be found online on Chegg. Exams are easily found on Quizlet. The final is 50 MCQs and is super easy. Just complete all the assignments and get an A. Super easy. Replies quickly and respectfully. There is some work but is managible. Definetly recommend.

Professor Tussing is a straightforward and easy professor for ECON 2301, and I will be taking him again for ECON 2302. 2 hw assignments that are quite easy,4 tests, and 1 group project. His class is very easy, but takes a while to respond to your emails if you need a question answered ASAP.

Very easy grader , discussions I believe every Friday .. 4 test and one group assignment ..and work assignments which were fairly easy .

I took Professor Tussing for the mini session. There was homework every day because of how little time we had to complete this course. Professor Tussing is one of the most caring professors I have had. I had forgotten to do a discussion post and I had sent him an email in regards to it. He was so caring about it. 100% recommend.

Ok there's a lot of homework but he extends them and if you failed them then that means you did not do them. His class is easy to pass. His lectures are from the book. gives days to finish exams which is great. lots of extra credit but one flaw he has is not responding to students on time but overall you can pass with an A just do your homework.

Took the Winter Mini - as the other review said, lots of HW (3-4 assignments/day including weekends), BUT definitely doable. Very little interaction w/ professor since it was online but just based on his emails he seemed very caring toward students. 1 group proj. and offers a good amt. of EC. Learned a lot & would def take this class again.

I took the May mini semester of his class. Every day there's work for each chapter of the textbook but that's because it's a short format class. It is very doable if you have maybe 1-2 hours designated a day for the semester. Didn't interact with him much since online anytime class.

Everything is done on LearningCurve program and his class is just all quizzes/exam there's like 100 quizzes/exam. There's 1 group project which is very upsetting if you're randomly assigned to people who doesn't do their work and you will have to do their part and your overall grade will be affected by their bad work (not understanding about this)

This professor is awesome! Took him for ECON 2301 and ECON 2302. Just make sure to submit all assignments on time and you will be fine. One group project which was fairly easy. You can find the majority of the answers on like quizlet. Please take him.

He opens up the whole coursework on day one and allows you to work at your own pace. There are items due every day (I took a 7 week course) but you can go ahead in the assignments to not fall behind. He is very understanding if you miss a deadline and works with you on extensions. There are four exams, a group presentation (he assigns the teams).

Took this class for the summer and I don't regret it. Professor Tussing was amazing, he was very engaging in the class. You have 4 exams, 1 final, and 1 project.

There was daily assignments that can be completed through a skim of the textbook as well as practice exams before the actual exam in the format of a question bank so some questions would appear on the test. Overall a wonderful professor, and I had one group project that was simple as the members split the work between themselves.

I highly recommend, I earned an A in this course while juggling a FT job, FT single mother, FT football mom, 5 course enrollment. I think that says a lot. This was a very easy class and great professor.

There 5 exams including the final, a group presentation and there also extra credit assignments that you can do. If you do the homework you will sure you will get an A. If I have the chance to take this class for microeconomics, I will do it without hesitation.

In Person course but assignments are ALL ONLINE. 4 Regular Exams, 1 Final Exam, a few assignments due EVERY week (easy), and a group presentation over a topic that he gives you. His lectures were pretty interesting. This professor was great and he really helped us understand the material by aligning it with real world topics. I will take him again.

Very easy class! No lock-down browser or webcam on the exams. Everything is on Pearson and there's only one assignment that isn't on Pearson. It was a group project and he puts you in groups. I took his 8 week course and it was super easy but there was an assignment due everyday but they're very short and easy.
