He is a great professor, he explains everything very well and makes you see life and things in a different way... If u do bad on a test you can go to his office and he would give you an opportunity to fix that grade... I totally recommend him :)

You're given a 24 hour grace period on all assignments, you can up your test grade by going to his office, and the class environment is awesome. Show up for class as some things (stories, examples, videos, etc)can not be viewed from home. You can just print out the powerpoints he puts online and that is essentially your test so study that. Easy A.

Very engaged professor. I focus intently during his amazing and clear cut lectures because he posts all his powerpoint slides on FSW canvas. I don't need to take notes, I print out the slides as a handout and study them. He doesn't care about attendance, just that you focus if you attend. No electronics. Most of the class was based on PBS documentaries and reading packets that could have been accessed almost entirely for free, not posing a real challenge. Wish he would have at least learned my name.

Great guy! This class was a breeze. Online, everything is available and the due dates aren't actually set in stone, they're recommendations. So you can do work whenever you want. Leave it til last minute or dedicate like one day a week to just go through a few sections. It's great when you have more difficult classes you need to focus on.

This class was so easy! I would definitely recommend taking this class if you're looking for an easy A. There is one worksheet per chapter (one each week) and a quiz on that chapter. Exams every few chapters. No final. The worksheets are exactly what the quizzes and exams are so as long as you do those, you're good!

One of the easiest class I've ever taken. You only have 4 exams and 3 assignments, and if you fail one he lets to retake it at the end of the semester as your "final." Attendance in his class is not mandatory, but he starts exactly at the time your class is scheduled. The material is mostly common sense and a GPA booster in my opinion.

EASY A! I am currently enrolled in his online class and I am already done with the ENTIRE class and the semester started 2.5 weeks ago! Modules open as you complete the quiz.. I was hesitant because of the reviews, but this professor is amazing. I was anxious about this class at first but I did far better than I had expected at first. He's funny, and the tests are exactly similar to what are in your notes - it's very hard to fail this class. Great lecturing style, no overcomplicating things - just what you need to know.

Managed to finish this class within the second week of the semester. He uses an FREE textbook so you do not need to purchase anything. There is a lot of reading, but he provided worksheets that go along with the reading. If you do the worksheets you are guaranteed an A on the quizzes and test.

This class is an easy A. Everything is laid out for you, he assigns worksheets that are taken right out of the textbook that can be used while taking a quiz or exam. The assignments dont have a due date so you can take your time but be aware that in the modules each assignment has a date it should be done by so your on track to passing the course.

Took this class Fall 2021. VERY easy class, theres no way you cant pass. Discussion boards consists of 2-3 sentences and a reply to another person. Quizzes and exams are very easy. Answers are in the online book. There is no final project for the end of the semester. Definitely recommend.

Barley any homework. Every week you do one discussion post (which has 3 questions from TB). He literally wants you to copy and paste the answers, so easy. Then ask a very basic question. You then take a 20-question quiz that is not monitored. Kinda hard not to get an A. Leaves great feedback.

hands down the best professor here at FSW! super kind and understanding. Wants you to succeed and gives great feedback so caring as well. very interesting assignments nothing too hard.

You will get an A in this class if you just read and fulfill the criteria he sets for assignments. He makes it very clear what he wants out of you.

Best professor I have had so far. HIs class is so easy, v few assignments, but yet I feel like I actually learned something. The assignments are the same week after week, but it is not hard whatsoever. He also gives pretty goof feedback for it to be such an easy course. Definitely take this course! You won't regret it.

The best professor! As long as you complete the study guide you will be fine. The quiz is exactly the same. Exams are every 3 chapters and also exactly from the study guide which you can use on the test. You can work ahead! Just take it! I got 100% and finished 2 months early, even through childbirth and a hurricane.

Amazing, easy professor. Same kinds of assignments, not too much reading, and everything is super easy if the study guides are filled out as you read. My intro to sociology was the least worrisome class I had!

It was a great class to take. Discussions aren't hard to do pretty much the same outline every week. Gives you a study guide that you can fill out while you read the chapter. Quizzes and tests are not hard if you do the study guides since the questions are the same. Definitely recommend taking this professor.

Best class I have ever taken in college. His quizzes have unlimited attempts and no time limit. Tests have 2 attempts and have no time limit as well. His study guides are so helpful. Nothing is proctored too. I literally managed to finish the entire class within one day and got an A. Dr. Wisely is so nice when giving feedback.

Dr. Wiseley, or Dr. Phil, is one of the greatest professors one can take. Simple, easy class, lectures are engaging and one will never be bored in his class. Makes it impossible to fail, can retake an exam. Truly cares about his students and makes a difference in all.

Amazing prof. he does a great job at teaching, attendance is not mandatory but helps to show since there are random days for an assignment, he does not allow any tech in the room so will tell you to leave if you go on phone or computer. Also gives a study guide for exams that help so much. Great with helping you keep the lectures shared remembered.

Dr. Phil is a fantastic lecturer and keeps you entertained throughout his classes. Classes are not mandatory, but he does four random in-class assignment days. He has four exams, which are all based on the notes and what he talks about in class, so attending is very helpful. Not a hard class at all and he is a very good instructor.

Professor Wiseley is very passionate about the material he is teaching and it makes you excited to learn it. He is very knowledgeable on the subject and speaks so anyone can understand.

This was such an easy class to do. Only graded with a few discussions and 4 exams. Great professor. TAKE THIS CLASS IF U NEED SOCIOLOGY.

I DID NOT take sociology I took IDH Research and Design. This class was really hard and a lot of new information that no one had ever seen. The class was basically statistical test and methods in research. Dr.Phil went above and beyond to help me achieve an A in his class during his office hours through extra practice problems and his explanations.

TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU CAN!!!! I cannot stress enough of amazing of a professor he is. He is very passionate about his teaching and trust me, you WILL learn in this class. Just pay attention and take notes to pass his exams. They are not difficult at all, there is no homework, nor is it mandatory to attend class.

Easiest class I had this semester. All of the quizzes have great study guides and are open note. The discussions are straightforward and simple. Overall this was a great class.

Voice inflections were engaging, 2-week grace period for exam make-ups was helpful, exams is stuff mentioned in class, notes, & videos but usually 1-2 questions require deep thinking. Challenged myself to get a perfect score on exam 4 and I did! I Used office hours and understood why I got a question wrong. Short Kahoot games & textbook not needed.

2 really easy assignments weekly. 1 small quiz and 1 easy discussion. Is a very easy class to pass and understand.

Professor Wiseley was very nice and the class was easy and straightforward. I'm usually not great with online classes but this one was laid out very well and assignments were generally easy. Tests were based on material.

His class is extremely easy as long as you are there and take notes. He uses many examples that help achieve a good understanding of the subject. All the tests that I have taken in his class have an accurate study guide.

Easy class with engaging lectures. Exams focus on notes and in-class discussions. No homework required. Unstuck study proved helpful for exam prep. Worth taking if you need a Sociology credit.

He gives great examples during lectures, attendance is mandatory so please go it's so helpful. study guides are so similar to tests and he wants yall to succeed, if you need help ASK, he is on your side!

Easy A. As long as you come into class and pay attention to the lectures and actually take notes, you will pass this class easily. He doesn't a lot of homework when he does, it's mostly participation. If you fail this class it will be 100% because of you and not him. His kahoots and study guide are pretty much identical to his exams.

He is definitely a character, but he does make the class super interesting. Tests reflect directly what you learn in class. Attendance is not graded, but the only way you'll get the information you need is to show up and take notes. Loved this class a lot and I definitely recommend him!

I took this professor's online sociology class, and it was terrific. All assignments are based on the weekly readings from the textbook, so as long as you read the materials provided and watch all the videos, you can be assured you'll pass the class. Professor Wiseley gave weekly reminders and great feedback, making him a great professor.

This Professor was hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. There are no assignments really in his class except the exams, and there is no way to really fail only if you're not even trying; his lectures are actually fun to listen to, and they do relate to the things going to be shown on the exams, he does Kahoots before exams. Love Him!

Awesome professor, one of the best at FSW. Even though attendance is not mandatory, I highly recommend going to his lectures. Very engaging and interesting. Uses study guides for tests, which come in handy! Overall very good!

He is a great professor; his exams are on his slide show, word by word. He's. funny person and has interesting stories to tell. He is very helpful. I would 100% recommend him.

Professor wiseley is easily the best professor I've had at FSW through my first 3 semesters. He answered any questions anyone had and always told people to come to his office for extra help if they needed. He also gave amazing studies guides that's where perfect for the exams.

Professor Wiseley is an amazing professor and what FSW did to him is extremely unfair as the class he was teaching was a sociology course and gender identity is a large part of our society and social culture and he should not have been punished for simply teaching his class.
