hes no playin around. hes a good professor, he is pretty much straight to the point, he'll tell u want he wants u to know for his test so all u gots to do is tape his lectures and take alot of notes and study them and u should have no problem .

Hi is the best prof for A&P, and his notes are so helpful and not hard. also this supposed to be note taking class and i say his notes are much better to study from than to read the boring books. HE IS GREAT!

How much easier can it get? He dictates the notes to you - and you memorize them. It's definately a lot of material, but if you review the notes every day, then you will pass his tests. There are a lot of questions that have more than one right answer, so you really have to know your stuff. I thought he was a great professor.

Professor Costa is a very good teacher From day one he lets you know what the deal is its up to you if you want to miss any classes but his notes are law and thats all you need to pass plus your own dedication dont take his kindness for weakness tho you gotta know your stuff inside out

This Prof. is absolutly the best. He teaches without any notes only from his head and that's exactly what's on the test. Study the notes and you will do well. His exams come strictly from his notes. He is probably the best Prof. Queensborough has. Register early and you won't be dissapointed. HE IS GREAT.

This professor is FANTASTiC... his test came straight from his notes and he was very helpful and crystal clear during his lectures...i must say that takin this course was sooo easy because the way he taught came easy to me....i would definitly recommend him to anyone that wants to really learn but still recieve a good grade!!!!!1

Does not write much on the board, but that is what you expect in college. He repeats everything twice word by word and makes you have it jotted it down. 99% of what he says are on his exams. Make sure you know every word, and detail in his notes cause he will tend to throw out some trick questions. But overall, gentle and intelligent professor.

Dr. Costa IS THE BEST and was my instructor in 301 and 302. His notes are his tests which build your critical thinking skills. I am a Nurse now thanks mostly to his teachings, so invest in a good tape recorder, study everyday and ENJOY your time with him because he is AMAZING. If you are planning on going into nursing take him!! I am in nursing school now and Costas class really prepared me for the difficult material in my nursing program. I like that he does not teach straight from the text book because he helps you understand the material in real-life situations which is extremely beneficial for nursing students!

he basically gives you the important part of the notes but please do yourself a favor and read the book as well because he loves to trick you in the exams

Definatley a good teacher, tells you from the beginning that his test COMES STRAIGHT from notes and means it. No need to get the textbook as long as you take good notes. Never adds any information he did go through in class. Even omits questions from the final if he did not get a chance to go over it in class. Great Progessor

Dr. Costa is an old fashioned teacher who actually teaches. I love this man, without him I would have not made it out of the Nursing program and even now I still look back at his notes; which by the way are the exams (tricky). One of the best profesors you could ever ask for. He teaches the old way instead of using the textbook or slides from the textbook. He is by far the best professor in QCC. Explains all the material so clear, he will repeat himself if you missed something, he is very nice and super caring. The exams are exactly from what he has taught. Teaches old fashion you learn how to take notes word by word. Fair grades. You will not regret taking his class, he loves what he does.

What can I say, I see Prof. Costa as the God of Anatomy & Physiology. He sincerely cares if your learning and understanding how to apply A&P to real life situations. Just read the notes repetitively, and ask him questions on topics your not fully clear on. Trust me, he will explain it. Very inspirational to students!

Prof Costa was an amazing professor!! His way of teaching is very old fashioned, Word for word note taking, tests are based off notes make sure you take good ones. Refers back a lot to the lab manual he wrote its a great book! His exams are a little tricky, so STUDY! He's a nice old man. TAKE HIM!! But you definitely have to work for it!

Im currently taking his class and he's the best! If you just review your notes you can definitely do well on his tests. He's extremely knowledgable and really nice!! He doesn't give homework or projects cause he knows just how hard a&p is already. Just pay attention to class, take notes, study those notes and you'll be fine!!

His exams are Tricky, he may give you 2 possible answers but expects you to choose one. he's not a strict professor but reasonable. This course is very intense and hard, you must be willing to put in the time and effort to understand the concepts. Overall, he tries his best to break it down as much as possible. I was never a good student in the past but from day 1, Prof Costa inspired and motivated me with his teaching style and care. He is a fair teacher and grader; you'll get what you deserve. Don't skip class, take good notes and don't cram for exams. His exams are not bad. If you struggle, go to the learning center. Prof Costa is great take him.

Amazing and sweet professor who doesn't waste your time. Notes are taken based on what is said in class. No powerpoints so you can retain information better. I took him last semester and I can't even tell you how many times I've teared up in his class when he talks about life, it is so inspiring and it really pushed me to be a better student and a better person in general. Prepare to take a lottt of notes as his test are all based on his notes. I found his test to be tricky because he makes up his own exam and throws in multiple question answers like a,b,c or a and b or b and c so you really have to study and think. If you believe your going to pass by winging it dont take him. Other than that he is very fair grader

Had this professor last semester. Absolutely loved this class! His exams are all based on his lectures. Did not use the textbook or PowerPoints so be ready to record the lecture and write down everything he says. His office hours are extremely useful and he will help you as long as he sees your effort.

Best Prof in QCC!!! He explained the material very clear and related to medical field. Also, textbook is not required. Be ready for record the lecture and take good note. Then you will be fine on the exam...Exam 99% base on the lecuture.

Best professor for A and P in the whole QCC. Breaks down lecture so easily. I wish I could take him for A and P 2, but I'm taking summer courses which he doesn't teach. Every class I attended of his, I really enjoyed. Man, I will definitely miss this professor.

My favorite professor! I took him for BI301 & 302. 301 was a rough start, but he helped me & my classmates succeed. Tests can be tricky if you dont study well. DO NOT study last minute!
