she is really sweet and this class is extremly entertaining shes very off the topic and usually lets u out early . i got a 97 percent opverall average this class was easy!!!!

she makes the class interesting. The speeches are easier than any other class. I dropped out of Allen, took Ambrose and got 105% in her class, and I have never got an A in college before.

very easy class... just do your assignments and you will pass regardless... practice your speeches and do some extra credit and you will get a guaranteed A in the class... i got a 90 and i BSed my speeches and did only one extra credit assignment...

I thought she was a great teacher. She was always willing to help. She's a fair grader, only 2 tests in her class and she gives extra credit. It's an easy A with her, but you still learn.

The way to pass her class is to do all the assignments and speeches (not hard at all). She also likes people with confidence and who are somewhat verbose. She studied drama in college so if you like the "drama" atmosphere the class would be great for you.

She's awesome. She is very nice and considerate. Class is lots of fun and interaction. Everyone became friends and that makes you comfortable to speak in front of them. It's like a big-oh-family. There are only a speeches, couple of reading assignments, and 2-3 quiz. (incl.final)all from book.

She either likes you or hates you. I was one of the lucky ones..if she hates you, drop the class. says there are only 3 speeches, theres actually 5. follow her outlines, dont be a smart a** ,follow the outlines exactly, and youll get an A.

Prof. Ambrose is a good help with speech, if you have a problem speaking in front of groups, this is a good class, she does not tolerate child play or games, after all this is college. The final was the easiest of the whole semester:)

I got a "lower grade" in Ambrose's class, but still by far she has been one of my favorite teachers. =)

I am a very shy person, so this class was difficult for me on a personal level, however, Ms. Ambrose was very encouraging and understanding. I enjoyed her class. Yes at times she wasn't clear about some things but she went over everything with everyone and made the class fun. This was a good class and a great experience.

This was such a fun class, not at all what I was expecting. Make sure you know when things are due, and listen to her queues in class about how she wants her speeches. Make sure you bring your book to every class, and DON'T CLICK YOUR PEN WHEN SHE'S TALKING! She has a great sense of humor.. lots of fun!

If your a responsible person who is in college to actually learn don't listen to the previous messages they must be extremely sensitive people. Ambrose is a typical college professor that teaches you how life is in the real world with a good sense of humor. I would recomend anybody who wants to better themself to take her.

Ms. Ambrose is a good teacher, but however VERY RUDE & DISRESPECFUL to students. If u have a problem, or u come up with this awesome reason not to attend class. Please dont tell Ms. Ambrose your situation, because she will put your business ON BLAST!! I dont think she knows how to keep secrets...something we learned in elementary.

I went to school fresh out of high school then dropped out with a 2.0 GPA. After 4 years I decided to go back and took Ms. Ambrose's SPC1600 class. She helped me grown both personally and professionally and boosted my confidence. She is an amazing teacher who cares, and really wants to do the right thing. She is passionate about her job.

I absolutely LOVED her! This is the first professor I've had at Valencia that I enjoyed spending time in the class with. She made sure everyone is comfortable with each other and jokes with us. I was actually sad to leave her class! If you want a professor who is going to teach you the material and make it fun at the same time, take her class!!!!!!

Really funny. Explains things extremely well, and made me want to become a better speaker. The speeches are easy as long as you outline and practice. Do not miss speech days. you do a lot more in class other than speeches so don't worry if you're not that good at it. she does a lot of activities to help you loosen up around the class. Recommend.

I really liked this Professor. Yes, she can be really sticked. If you follow the rules, listen to all the directions for the speeches, if you don't she will call you on it. Don't use your phone, click pens & talk while she is speaking. And you do all that you will pass with an A. She is very fair. I learned a lot, what & what not to do.

She is crystal clear about what she expects. Some of her expectations seem overboard - if you follow directions you can average in your A already... The easiest A ever. Pay attention, follow directions to a "T" and use common sense (she appreciates that)... She starts tough to weed out the quiters & ends much more pleasant!!

She gives a lot of work in the beginning of the year but after the withdraw deadline passes her class is really laid back. She is pretty strict but her grading scale is really easy. Just make sure you do everything she says and you'll be sure to get at least a B.

She is awesome! I love how nice she was on my final. I came in 5 minutes before class ended and she still let me take the final. The final is 10 q's (True or False). She may not be the simplest teacher, but life isn't simple. I don't care what others say about her, because she is so cool.

I used to have to get medicated in order to do a speech, I would even faint during presentations, she is not easy,she an amazing teacher though, I am now able to do speeches without so much as thinking it twice. I learned a lot and I am glad I took her She's hard but she's worth it IF you are a slacker don't take her If you want to learn, take her!

Extremely helpful with speech techniques. If you do all the work and show up on time you will get an A. She is very helpful if you put an effort into the class. If you're going there just to coast by don't expect any free handouts.

In this class attendance is mandatory and you have to pay attention. If you distract others she WILL point it out. She won't take any crud from the students. So if you WANT to learn you're willing to follow the syllabus you sign you will do fine. She gives you CLEAR outlines for speeches and TEACHES

Professor Ambrose is the only teacher that should be taken if you truly desire to better your speech and habits of speaking. Her different approach might not be familiar to some, but that is what this course and this college is about, making people step outside the box and accomplishing something different We learn the most from the hardest teacher

She is very straightforward and direct in her teaching. This class is for those who have their mind in what they are doing. She is nicer and more lenient than a lot of other professors I've had. Not for the weak minded and those who can't take criticism. Great class overall.

One of THE BEST teachers I have EVER recieved. I HATE public speeches.. but this teacher made me feel like I was part of a family.. All these people saying she's rude are wrong - if you're looking for a fight she'll give you one, but if you honestly care about your grades and treat her with the respect she deserves,you will be pleasantly surprised.
