You may as well disregard previous posts. Does a good job at following the syllabus provided at the beginning of the year. Pay attention and you'll do well. Did not play favorties. Plus, she's very attractive ;) Tests are no surprise. Recommended.

You may have noticed a trend by now with the disorganization thing. It's quite true, but if you pay attention in class, she'll basically tell you exactly what's going to be on the tests and quizzes, and if you check in with her a lot on your project, you'll do well. High maintenance, but recommended

Had alot of fun in the class, Prof Fein did a good job of laying out what she wanted to get across. Went over the Syllabus weekly to make sure that the whole class knew where we were. Introduced a Marketing Fact Folio which was available during Quizes. Plus she was hot, nice little body & cute face.

Lots of work in that class, group projects were a disaster. Felt like pulling teeth. 2 A's, 2 B's, 2 C's. You had to do 2 projects, 1 group and 1 self. Lots of deadlines for each one. Make sure you have a responsible group at your table, or you'll go through hell.

I had this teacher 2 semesters ago and i disagree with all the nay sayers. I never saw her play favorites. the work was hard so what your in college its suppose to be challenging. She knew her stuff. And the stories she told all had a purpose like: don't miss out on opportunities. Keep your mind open. Shes an excellent professor!

She was a great professor and is a great help when you are dedicated and actually care about what she is teaching. She does play favs but only because her favs are legit students who care about thier college education and thier future. Her lessons are great and her stories apply to what is being learned. Shes great just be on her good side!!

I actually enjoyed INT BUS. She spoke of things completely off , but were relevant to the topics we covered and made sense. Tests were open book except for the(hard)final. Does play favorites to interested students. 25pg project(1/3 of grade) due at the end, just keep up with the weekly assignments and make it look nice and you'll be fine

Ok, everyone that says she plays favorites needs to get over it. Of course professors are going to favor a student who does their work and is truly interested in doing well. As for her "fashion" students, I am one of them and thanks to her I'm at FIT and graduating with honors!

Professor Fein is the best teacher I have ever had!!! These people that are giving her bad ratings just have it out for her. Professor Fein has been a great help to me and many other students. She started a brand new major at the college to give students interested in fashion more options. She is a very well respected and loved professor!

Professor Fein is someone I was iffy about at the beginning of the semester, but as long as you read the text and keep your notes organized, you will be fine. The one thing that I couldn't stand about her was that she always showed up at least 10 minutes late to class, then kept us late as a result. Don't schedule a class right after hers.

Professor Fein is a great person, she is always the whenever you ned help either with the subject or with anything related with school. She is available on her office hours and whenever you meet her at school she would be glad to stop and talk with you. She had great assigments through the semester who built a lot into my academic sklls.

Prof. Fein was very helpful and understanding when I missed the date for my online final and she re-opened it so I could pass the class. In the pass I have had professors says "sorry I can't help you". Her course was challenging but she didnt write the book she's just doing her job!!! For anyone in business you'll be thankful later. She is such a good professor,she helped FILL up my resume, I had her from both marketing and Intro to fashion! She is AWESOME and KNOWS HER STUFF!! Im a fashion merchandising major and she got all the students into SO many events and provided us with so many GREAT experiences. She is willing to help ANYONE, and will answer any questions!

She made this class SOOOO much fun! We did a marketing project were we had to make up our own product and til this day I still look at mine! She is willing to give you ideas and will help you with ANYTHING! STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Very energetic and involved with the students in the Fashion design and the Merchandising programs. provided us with many opportunities within the fashion world in and outside the classroom. Overall she was a wonderful professor.

Prof Fein is one of my favorite professors. I can only say good things about her. Her classes were always a lot of fun. She really knows how the fashion industry works. I am a Product Designer and I can tell that her assignments prepared me to be better at my current position. She was always very helpful...even AFTER graduation.

Professor Fein inspired me to pursue marketing. She directed me from one great opportunity to another. She is easy going, funny and realistic when it comes to behaviors in the real world. Trust her because she knows what she is talking about when it comes to marketing in the corporate workplace.

Professor Fein is my curriculum chair for my Marketing degree and it was a pleasure to have her as a professor! She gives an overview of the entire semester on her syllabus and follows it weekly. If you keep up with the work and submit when due she will grade fairly. Follow the criteria and use the vocabulary! You'll be sure to do fine.

Phyllis Fein is a great professor! She is a very smart professional who has worked for big companies in the past so she is very experienced and is very willing to help you land a job or an internship. We had group projects every week this semester which was a lot of work but they are not hard. Be wary of being the only one doing all of the work.

This class is not made for the closed minded individual that's looking for an easy A. Professor Fein has opened my eyes to the meaning of professional entrepreneurship. I am forever grateful. I took her Entrepreneur course, but the course code is not available.

In the first half of the semester, we had to do our own individual work based on the entreprenuer we picked from the glass. Then we had to do assignments based on the entreprenuer. The second half of the semester, we did group work. We had to come up with a new company idea. Of course there was assignments to go with that which were very hard.

The class is well paced and the use of Cengage Online allows very clear and easy understanding of the class if you follow through. The accessibility of the text book on their app and/or computer really helps you learn better in today's day an age. She is very energetic and innovative in her teaching style and a great professor to have for any class

Amazing teacher overall. Uses Cengage program which is very easy to understand. Its based on gaming and makes quizs less stressful and understandable. Text book is available on the website which is helpful. She is very innovative. Knowledgeable on the subject through her prior work experience. Wants you to succeed. Would 100% take her again.

Fun to be in class, shes always there for help and is very generous and caring for her students. She uses a new form of textbook which increases the the retention of material learned. She understands as students we are very busy and gives minimal homework which helps with preparation for quizzes in her class. Would recommend.

Very great professor. As long as you show up to class and do the work there is no reason why you can't do well in the class. Professor Fein focuses one day on a strategic lecture which gives students insight on the real professional aspect of working in the marketing field. The second day we use the Midtap account to take a graded quiz on how well we understand the chapter and lecture that week.

She uses Mindtap which is an online textbook and interactive module. It's very helpful. Could get the whole semester done in a weekend. She has a lot of real world experience and examples. Show up, give the minimal effort needed and get a good grade.

This professor is a really nice person, which you get to know her. Also, she is very helpful when it comes near the final. The quizzes are straight from the slides, she uses during class time. She also lets you do the quizzes in class which is a huge positive because that means she can help with any questions you might come across while taking it.

Professor Fein is very passionate in what she teaches & gives many real world examples. The lectures were never boring which is nice for an 8am class and the course load is pretty moderate with there being a reading paired with an assignment due every week. On top of that theres also Excel practice modules for which you take a final as well.

She uses a new platform called mindtap. it is probably the best textbook platform that i have used. Her quizzes are geared towards the final and the excel exam.

honestly this class wasn't bad to take at all. Attendance is important, she expects you to make the effort to pass the class. Although she always offers help and the class was very straight forward. Every Tuesday there was a lecture and Thursday there was an online quiz. As long as you pay attention and do the quizzes you will do well in the class.

She makes sure that her students understand, it is important to participate, and something that probably threw most people off was the final because it has nothing to do with what you learn in class, but that is also an easy A.

Marketing 101 was definitely my favorite class this semester because of professor Phyllis Fein. Her lectures are very interesting and we discussed brands from Gucci to McDonalds. We have weekly homework get them in on time! Our final project was a trend report so you get the opportunity to track your own! She is very caring and just a great prof.

Professor Fein is inspirational, gives good feedback, and cares for her students. If you are a Marketing student and are interested in the consumer behavior area, she is the one. I learned the use of online apps like Survey Monkey, Sprout Social, and how to take advantage of them.

I took an Asynchronous class with her and honestly is easy to get an A, just have to hand in 2 assignments every week. You also have a project that is due at the end of the semester. Her instructions to the assignments are easy to understand and I don't know why she has such a low rating.

Taken as ASYNC. Easy class. Given a deadline towards end of the semester for majority of the work so you're able to complete all assignments before the due date. You have to purchase an online txtbook, you're given many attempts to get a good grade on each assignment! 2 projects. Prepare ahead of time for the last project, very lengthy but easy. :)
