The most easiest and sweetest professor in the world. You don't even have to buy or read the textbook. Everything is in her lectures. Unfortunately, its not a very challenging class.

The sweetest and most caring professor I've had in a really long time. You cannot not get an A in her courses. She's a sweetheart!

This lady is a trip and half. She's very personable and the class is papa ("easy" for all my American friends). Definitely recommend. Easy A.

She is a wonderful person and a great teacher. She always asks how you are doing and says hi to you when you enter class. Make sure you read the books she assigns carefully because the quizzes tend to be difficult if you don't read carefully. Take good notes. This is a fun and relaxing class but if you slack too much your grade will suffer.

This professor is really nice, although she is a little out there. You have to read several books for the class and you have one pretty big project in a group, which is either oral or written. The class is not that hard.

Awesome woman! She burns incense and candles in class and is sensitive to the views of all students. Funky and funny, she makes class interesting and extremely easy!

this class is really easy, all her lectures are powerpoint, so just take notes. you have to read like 3 novels, and then have quiz on them. she gives a possible 3 homework assignments but you only have to do 2. there is also a group project. otherwise you can just sit back and relax. literally.

I LOVED THIS CLASS! it was really easy, and the subjuect is very interesting. shes really slack, the only bad thing is that its almost impossible to get a hold of her outside of class. i recommend it if u want an easy A!

Baker is the best.She gives you word for word notes.There are three quizzes on the books that even if you dont read you can pass b/c its open book test.The Midterm & Final are mult choice only 25 questions straight from the notes. There is no reason you cant pass with an A. Be careful! she is very unorganized with grades so keep your assignments.

I took this class as a freshman, and wow, it totally surprised me. Could a class be this easy? It's unbelieveable. I will tell the truth though, there are about 5 books to read (if you read!), they are pretty interesting and since the class was so large - 340 students, it was pretty easy for everyone to cheat. Need an easy class? Take this!!

Ms. Baker is very nice and passionate. She also has a great personality; you will never forget her. This is probably one of the best classes I have ever taken. It was really mind-opening. This more of an "experience" than it is a class. I definitely recommend anyone take it. It's very easy. The tests are open-book and the homework is simple.

Okay. Here is what happens when you take this class. You come in. She's dressed, well, eccentrically. She's got candles lit and new age music playing. She begins her powerpoints, which are full of 6th grade level knowledge of the topics. You leave class, knowing that although you feel you've learned very little, you will pass with at LEAST a B.

Knows her material and is very modest and caring to all of her students. As you walk into her class, the atmosphere is calm unlike other classes at FIU when you coming in and the professors get you agiated as you walk in. Read your books, study, and you'll be fine. One of the nicest, great sense of humor, laid back, and humble professor at FIU.

Professor Baker is extremely different. She wears weird outfits and lights candles at the beginning of her class. She doesn't really teach but almost everyone is guaranteed an A. She doesn't seem very smart but tries to act as if she is. Her powerpoint presentations have soo many errors. Her class is easy but that doesn't make her a good professor.

EASY A!! She's totally wierd. Take this class with a friend because it is too crazy to handle on your own. Huge auditorium class..attendance isnt even needed at all to pass. TAKE IT.

Baker is a crazy wise woman. This class is literally for relaxation and exploring the world. Definitely take this course if you need to satisfy core classes.

Pretty simple if you read what she assigns. Tests are simple if you have all the notes. Fun readings & very interesting stuff. Group project that can be a paper or presentation.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. Took her for Myths Rituals and Mysticism and EASILY passed with an A. I actually missed the final and she let me retake it! SHE'S THE BEST!!

She is an easy professor but buy the books. her quizzes will now be online and they're 25 questions. you have an hour and a half to complete. you can use books. she does take attendance, but i dont think it is mandetory. over all easy class, just make sure she inserts the grade! oh and she always brings food :)

Class was really interesting. But you have to buy like 6 books and her quizzes on them are not to test the general subject of the book but specific questions that show you read it. Group project sucked, make sure you dont get lazy people, it dragged down my grade. Overall easy, attendance doesnt matter. Nice professor, TA is the helpful one though!

Amazing! A very sweet prof. Angela, her TA, is also very helpful. Easy class but you must buy books for the online quizzes. Exams are also very easy. Requires a group project so if that's not your thing, avoid the class. With minimal effort, you should be able to get an A.

Good professor, very passionate and cheerful. Interacts with the class. I took it for summer B and I think she said it was her first time doing summer, so everything was a bit packed and rushed. TA isn't too helpful. Good tip for online quizzes: Get together in a group in the library and do them there. All of the books are also found in pdf format

You have to read a lot of books (mostly hers) but the quizzes are open book so they're easy. She makes her own powerpoints so going to class is recommended because her questions come from there. She's pretty weird with all her spiritual stuff but the class is really easy!

She cancels Friday class pretty often but her assignments can be pretty tricky since it's based more on her books than her powerpoints. It's a straightforward class - easy A if you put in the effort.

Classes are canceled on fridays often. Book quizes are kind of hard but if you read it you will pass it.

VERY sweet lady. When you talk to her, she really takes the time to connect with you. She loves to help. Classes are cancelled most Fridays. There's an easy group project, midterm, final, and a bunch of online and in-class quizzes in between that you NEED to read the book for and take notes in class to pass; they get pretty hard. Just rated a second ago and forgot to add that there's like six or seven books that you do need to buy for the class. She uses all of them at least once and of course, for the midterm and final. There's like two that she didn't use but that was just for this class, you might need it if you take her. Not too expensive if you buy on Amazon.

This teacher is an amazing human being. Not only does she care for her students but she makes class nice to go to. She always brings snacks for the class, and is always trying to help you out by assigning easy extra credit work. I never went to class and I passed with a B+. The class is super easy and chill, just a lot of books, but so worth it!

Overall, she is a good professor, but she can be difficult. She makes you read a bunch of books, two of which she wrote. She is very sweet and does everything yo help you pass, the only thing i hated was the fact that she makes you pay for extra-credit. But overall, I would recommend her as a professor! :)

MS. BAKER! Lol she is a VERY unique lady. I took her over the summer and the class flew by. It's a alot of reading but that's anthropology! It's easy though and nothing to stress over. She is very easy to tlk to. She responds quickly to emails. Really cares about her students. Looks at us as equals versus students. Love ya prof!

Easy "A!" Show up to class, listen to her lectures, & TAKE NOTES! She dresses in multicultural outfits & makes her lectures super entertaining! Her midterm/final is ALL based on the NOTES (& the review sheet that she gives out)! Quizzes from book! On top of that, she's super nice & always brings food for the class. Would definitely take her again!

She's really nice and funny and she always has snacks prepared for the class with a side of tea. If you don't study and attend the class you will not be prepared for her quizzes or tests and she throws an all white party and if you attend or participate she gives you up to 7 extra credit points!! (Those points ADD up)

One of the best teachers I've had yet, she really opens your mind about everything. The class is an easy A if you take good notes, it would be really hard to completely fail. she does not like when people talk during her lecture. Downside is she barely answers emails.

She is a bit strange, but nice nevertheless. Lots of extra credit, but they are all far away places, like downtown miami area (visit a museum, etc.) No class Fridays! 7/10

Professor Baker is absolutely amazing. Her class is mostly her giving lectures, and she brings up a lot of important social issues that are relevant to today. Not a difficult class, very straightforward about what is expected. A midterm, a final, and a group 10 page paper. Occasional online quizzes based on articles or reading she provides.

Easiest class ever! The teacher was very nice and caring --- the assignments aren't difficult so they are DO-ABLE. Do not be afraid to take this professor! Work is very easy and has a very small course load. The only thing I would say is that the textbook is virtually required if you would like to pass all exams and etc. The Best class EVER!

This was the first class I took at FIU, and I'm glad! The class was cool and interesting and she grades fairly. The class in summer term is a little long, but she is entertaining so it is not bad at all. She's very nice and the topic of the class itself is interesting even if this is just an elective.
