She is AMAZING! she is a new teacher this year, but totally knows what she is talking about and is great. The class is really fun and interesting and it is not boring to sit through. There are 3 midterms, one final and tons of other ways to get points if you are not a good test taker. She grades her test on a curve too. I really recommend her!

I was interested in Anthropology before taking her class. She's not a bad person, just that she does not teach the class at all. There was probably only one or two times that we actually stayed the whole class period and those were when we were watching a movie. The rest of the time she spoke for ten minutes and then let us go.

Eisentraut is a very sweet lady but I did not think her class was very reasonable. She rarely lectures so you just have to study the book for exams. You have to go to a good amount of the classes because there are in-class assignments every class. I did not feel that I learned a lot from the taking her class but it was extremely easy.

WORST teacher I have ever had. She 'teaches' as though she is instructing 5th-graders. Cares more about her outfit and flirting with her TA than the lesson plan. Every day you do a worksheet, play go-fish, or watch "Walking with Cavemen," then leave. The tests are unreasonably hard. If you are intelligent and want to learn, stay far away.

She teaches as if the class will be easy, shows videos and has you do projects. The test comes, and it has nothing I've ever seen on it in my life. I've taken 3 of her courses, and became so frusturated. You have to deal with her disorganization. She even had to curve one test so that a 82% became a 100% because everyone did so poorly.

Take this class online, it's so easy. Open book/note quizzes, and exams based primarily (80%) directly from the textbook and the other 20% comes from her assignments, and discussions. You get one extra credit assignment at the end of the year, that can boost your grade by one letter...so C to a B, B to an A, etc.

This class was an easy A, but besides that it sucked. Her lectures don't cover anything important, and she jumps around and doesn't really make sense. Her tests are SO ANNOYING. They are open book, but the questions are so specific and tricky- they don't ask about conceptual things, they basically just make sure that you read the textbook.
