Mrs. A is the best!! She will work with you and tries hard to make the more boring subjects somewhat interesting. She also has an interesting career background and tends to know what shes talking about. Does tend to go off on tangents but its always amusing when shes does :']

I thoroughly enjoyed this class and its contents. My likes for the class mainly involve the content, I loved exploring different theories into why people commit crime. Another like for this class was the Instructor, Dr. Pia Anderson. You did a fantastic job being an online Professor, keeping communication with the class and available when needed.

I really enjoyed the class it actually was put together well for a correspondence class which is a relief. With me being a military member and have a family it is hard to get the time for school and when you do Its nice to have clear structure and clear requirements which Professor Pia Anderson included in her class this semester thank you .

Dr. Anderson constructed a class that was easy to navigate, straight forward and not complicated with extraunnecessary work. Seriously, the only complaint I have is the book. I DO NOT like online books. I cannot stare at a computer screen for long periods of time, and I get antsy. Other than that, great class and professor!

I enjoyed this course very much. I knew very little about our criminal justice system prior to signing up for this class. It was a tough class, however it was enjoyable and was not too overwhelming. Dr. Pia was very helpful and kept the class exciting. Even though we did not meet in person I still felt this was a healthy learning environment.

I like to have a book to hold in hand, this ws the first time I had to use an online book. It was not impossible to use just more difficult than I expected. Professor Anderson was very helpful during this course.

Mrs. Anderson is an easy going professor. You do have to do work but she gives you the time to get it done. Definitely not like others that will give you back to back long papers. I have to say that I could have done much better at this class if I only had more time to read :( Over all lots of reading, easy work, good professor.

Ms. Anderson's online community policing class was on the easier side. A priority was put on discussion boards which made the class more interesting and kept the students involved--which is great for an online class. The class is an online basic course from a technical college. Nothing spectacular but not the worst I've taken. While I appreciate the course work, it wasn't as engaging as I would have liked.

I took this online in the summer (8wk). Each module is posted for a week and the work inside each is doable. There is no book. All the reading material is posted. Put forth the effort, follow the grading criteria for the discussion boards, and finish it on time and you'll get a good grade. She's wonderful.

The method she uses is very helpful. Her writing assignments are easily followed with the text and power point presentations. The quizzes and exams all flow with each other which makes it easier to learn and take these tests. I would recommend her as an instructor and I would definitely take the class again, EASY A! I learned much from her class.

I have had Dr. Anderson as a professor for many of the classes I have taken at FTCC and to be honest, I look for her name when applying for classes because she is one of the best professors there is. She expects you to complete your work correctly and on time but is always there for assistance with any concerns you may have. Also, a fun professor!

One thing that stood out to me the most was that fact that she uploaded video almost every week explaining what we were going to cover and objectives that were going to be met for that particular module. I would have been nice to see though one the questions that I got wrong, what the correct answers were

I found it very helpful that my instructor took the time to post short videos to the site. Since this was an online class, some things got confusing and were cleared up by her posting a short video of directions and what the module would be about. She even included a few examples and facts that were helpful.

Mrs. Duncan is great at what she does and she takes her job very seriously. I can tell she wants all of her students to pass her class and she makes sure everyone is on track and up to par with their work. If you ever needed she was always there.

The subject is a very challenging subject. Understanding the US Constitution is hard bad itself, then you have to try to interrupt it and apply the law. Dr. Anderson-Duncan is a AWESOME instructor she really puts a twist on education and learning. She uses periscope and videos. YOU WILL LOVE HER, but DO YOUR WORK!

I learned alot in this class. I didnt think I'd ever have to call up a person with authority for information for any class, but I did and it was easier than I expected.

Very simple layout- module's included the chapters, a test, and a discussion board. She also had all the modules open so it was AMAZING for me because I have a full time job and 3 kids and when I get a chance to work ahead, I take advantage of it.

She is a very hands on teacher. I have taken inclass courses and online courses and she has been helpful in everyone of those classes. For this class she gave video feedback and announcements to help us get through certain modules. She also answered my questions in a timely manner. She has a very busy schedule but manages to fulfill her duties.

Professor Anderson was one of the best instructors that I have had. I truly enjoyed this course and would take it again in a second. She is a great help to students and her videos help out a lot. Great instructor!

Professor Anderson would respond promptly to inquiries and was understanding to the needs and problems of her students. The module workload was consistent being a Module Quiz and a Discussion Board assignment. So I knew what to expect but often failed to give my best, which is no reflection on the professor.

This class is very easy. You do read a lot however don't be discouraged by that because it will help you pass the class. If you don't read the book you will fail the quiz. She only assigns reading, a 13 question quiz, and a discussion board. Thats all you do for her class and she gives you two weeks to due everything in.

While the professor was there for questions and willingness to help, i do feel it took a little longer to get responses. overall the class was self explanatory and was great work had a problem with the test's but i suffer from ADHD so i struggled.

I enjoyed this class. I have learned so many things that I did not know. From the different levels of court systems, to all the different levels of corrections. The power points for this class was very helpful when studying for the quiz and test , and also to prepare for the exams. My favorite part of this class was learning the US Constitution.

I really enjoyed taking CJC111 with Mrs. Anderson, she is an extraordinary professor. I learned so many new things I was not aware of the justice system, my favorite topic was about the U.S. Constitution, and the Supreme Law court cases. This class made me question my major, I might change it from Psychology to Criminology. Great class.

I loved the fact that the class was peer driven!!! Public speaking may need to be a prerequisite if you take Dr Duncan. But it made me feel like I was still in the military by learning from peers that had to present the chapter and anything that may have relevance, Dr. Duncan was sure to add, discuss, question or even ask our opinions.

It was basically self-taught. Everyone was assigned to a chapter in the book and they had to present it to the class.

Professor Duncan is not someone you can just easily define. She is will to run that mile with you to help you understand. She gives clear and precise instructions reference the course. She has a wonderful ability to project her voice, that is just her style.

The class was over all fun and very informative. This was my first semester and she has helped me from the beginning even when I wanted to give up!

The work provided is outlined and easy to complete. Follow the directions and you can not go wrong. Only way to fail her course is by not completing the work. Turn your work in on time and complete everything needed, there is no way you will not have a 90+. When emailed about certain issues, she replies and assist you as soon as possible.

Dr. Duncan is awesome. If I had any kind of issue she was always there to assist me in whatever I need it. Shes is very flexible and will always work with you if you show that you really care. As a professor her classes are very clear, well explained and easy to complete. You just have to commit to it, finish your work on time and be active.

Dr. Duncan is a wonderful teacher that i wish i had in high school because she really takes her time to help students that need help or who is just having problems finding something. I haven't never taken a law class before, but It was great to learn new things about the law i didn't even know about. Yes taking this class was a little off my choice, but I would take another class for sure. The teacher was wonderful and the classmates too

Material is interesting and everything is pretty straight forward. She also has two online video chats to help with learning. For an online class blackboard tends to mess up (not in all cases) so that's not necessarily the instructors fault.
