A great teacher! A little on the monotone side, but he tells you EXACTLY what you need to know. I studied for about 10 minutes and aced all the tests. If you have the option of taking Lubold- take him!

Very easy, Fun lectures, easy tests!

this class is easy but the discussions are usuelly dull. the exams are also easy as long as you study a little. he is clear about what will be on the exams too.

The teacher is a bit boring because his voice is so soft you'll feel sleepy very fast. Other than that, his class is very easy as long as you take notes and he always welcomes opinions and arguments.

Easy class, easy to understand material and tests. I do agree that his voice does make you fall alseep, but his office is always open and he was always there to answer any questions you may have. If you took him for intro, consider him for developmental.

Psychology with Lubold is a great choice. He has a wonderful attitude and grades fairly. If you read the book and memorize the terms you'll be fine.

I loved his classes! He makes them interesting and fun.Listen in class, read your notes and book and pass with an A in his classes. He's been my fav. teacher so far in my year at VCC.

Best teacher I have had thus far. Always tries to make the class fun and interesting. He tells jokes and anecdotes to break up the monotony. He treats all of his students with respect, and loves class discussions.

he is great! and so senstive to his students need. He shared lots of intersting stroies. hints, read the pages he put on the syllable, and read the study guide book. project is intersting, but easy it will help your grade a lot. and hey he is not boring!

Great Teacher, Can be funny sometimes. Will not pass class if you don't study (Just a warning).

Dr. Lubold is very clear with the material. if you read the book before or after class you will understand everything prefect with his explanations. Study for tests are easy and do chapter tests some questions come from there. Is very easy to get A with him.

GREAT teacher! My fav. this semester....he is NOT boring & class discussion is nice if you participate. Gave study guides which were very helpful & if you put in a decent amt of effort, study off powerpoints/should get an "A". Wish he taught other classes I need to take! Kind spirit/relaxing class

Dr.Lubold is an excellent professor! His powerpoints are very clear and informative, and you can print them all out on webct. He's very fair and understanding to all his students. I enjoyed his lectures, and he always tells great stories. I definetly recommend him for both gen. and dev. psychology!

Lubold seemed difficult @ first. I thought I was going to fail because u have to really study the notes but when u do u will be fine. Dont stress this class. You will do fine if u just study or if your a better listener then just listen to him talk about the notes on the projector.Good Luck!

He appreciates participation even if you ask the most stupid thing. He's a very nice person, and a great teacher. Just make sure to study the notes and you'll do fine.

He's a great guy, but he made general psych a little harder than it should of been. The final project left a lot of people lost, and our entire grade depended upon it. Lectures were boring on some days, but he's really into the topic, and knows his stuff. You have to be into it too to be in his class, so don't expect it to be an easy elective.

Awesome and insightful. He made the class very interesting. He is very clear on tests and projects. If you listen to what he asks (and he tells you exactly) you have an easy A. He is also available to help with any problems or questions about the class. I have never seen an instructor makes himself so available for the student.

Dr. Lubold is a great teacher! Very helpful and very fair.His exams were very easy to understand and he gives you study guides with exactly what appears on the tests. Easy A!!

He is a die-hard Democrat that degrades the Republican party often. He also seems to like to speak about sex quite often. If you are a Conservative, dont think it is a reason not to take his class. He does try to get away with talking bad of Republicans but does it while sounding like the professor from Southpark so it makes his effort very comical

This dude really knows his stuff! I have learned so much and looking forward to getting into his developmental class. His lectures are full of life experience. He honestly wants everyone to do well and be successful.

He is very smart, but your grade depends, pretty much, soley on your tests, which stinks! His grading system goes against you, a little, but the class is kind of interesting.

Great Teacher! Gives you a list of things that will be on his tests and 5 super easy projects. Lectures very interesting. Take him and you won't be sorry! Really looking forward to Developmental.

This class is so much fun. I can't explain how much you learn and joke around about the stupid things that people do. You learn so much about yourself from taking this class. You learn what you like and what you don't like what you want and don't want. You will learn these things thruogh your apprenticeship into psychology.

If this is a course you HAVE to take, this is the prof. you want. He is very easy and he gives you everything that will be on the test. You have 2 projects that you get an easy A on. He insist on helping you, you just have to ask for it, but he is always willing to help. Even with his own practice, he has time for his students.

Really smart guy! Entertaining lectures, and hes funny. Required 5 eazy projects, other than that you grade is based entirely on ur test grades. Take him,hes good.

VERY EASY! He's a good professor and really wants you to be interested and involved in class. Sometimes his lectures would get a little boring but, overall, a great class. He also gives you downloadable notes that cover everything that will be on the tests. You don't really need to use the book...buy if you wish...or not!

Highly Recommend this teacher. His style is really fun and lively. he knows what he's talking about and he really enjoys class participation. he only has 4 test and five homework assignments. He is a really great teacher and its a very fun class to be in.

he's a wonderful teacher, he always use powerpoint for his lecture, but he always makes them fun to hear, 85% of his tests are based on his powerpoint lectures, and 10% are based on the books, but other than that he's awesome; he reminds me of austin powers, and steve Erwin!

Dr. Lubold makes class interesting if you want to participate and prepare for class. He is very engaging and tries to get you to think. If you're taking this class just to take it or are brain dead, take someone else.

Great man and teacher. I had trouble with the medical aspect of it (first few chapters) and he helped me a lot. He's very understanding and invites his students to just sit and chat with him. Turn everything in and study the powerpoints and you'll do good. You don't really need a book, I stopped opening it after the 1st test and still got an A.

Professor Lubold is a nice guy and very fair with his work. I took him on a Summer B term class and actually loved the class. I had a hard time with his test. But his note is pretty much his test. Several project and extra credit offer. If you do his projects and assignments regardless of your test score you can pass his class.

Professor Lubold is amazing. He is one of the best teachers at VCC. Very smart guy who will help you with everything. He's very funny also. There were a total of 4 tests (they come from the study giude) but you do have to study and know the information. One major project which he is extremely helpful with! Lectures are fun. Take him if you can.

lubold is a very nice man his door is always open for his students and he is very lenient with assignments. His tests are hard. Very hard. And there is only 4 tests so don't mess up. You will have a presentation project which is fun but be ready to work and study hard.

I fell in love with this class!!! One of the best teachers I ever had. It is not an easy A, so don't take if that's all you're looking for. He teaches a lot of useful things, and can relate everything for a better understanding. Studying is a must, but all information can be found in his powerpoints! Study, and you'll pass! :)

Dr. Lubold was a great professor, but difficult! There are 4 tests 4 projects, and one presentation and one paper. It seems like a lot, but those do help your grade if you don't do well on the tests! Study the book, and the study guides he provides online.

Here's the thing; he gives you his power point notes and thats all you need to study for his tests. He is always available for appt after class. He's not going to care more than you do though so you have to study.I would take him again!

one of the BEST psychology teachers at Valencia. His tests are straight from the Power Points. there are four exams that are relatively easy ONLY IF you study the power points. VERY interesting guy and very dedicated to his job!

He is a really nice and funny professor, but you really have to Ace his test to pass the class b/c he doesnt give Hw, so your grades are based off 4 test, 1 paper, and 1 presentation. Dont read the studyGuide/Notes to study for the test b/c they are not helpful, i learned that the hard way, read his powerpoints.

Prof. L is an amazing teacher! I didnt really want to take this class but had to bc of nursing. he really made it fun and interesting! i learned alot! he has 4 test,one paper, and a presentation. thats what your grade is based on. no homework. i didnt go to class everyday just study the study guides and read the power points and you can get an A to

His tests are straight from the powerpoints... so make sure you have them printed out before the class. You will learn alot of interesting facts. I truly enjoyed this course. He is btw very helpful and wants his students to pass, so give it your best shoot! Recommended professor

He's a genius! Absolute GENIUS! He's a hard prof. but it's so worth it. PLEASE READ the BOOK && NOTES! It will be the best way for you to get all the info you need for your test. I was so sad when the Abnormal Psych class ended with him, because hes full of amazing information and he has years of experience. DONT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS!

I really like this class. General Psychology has been fascinating thanks to Prof. Lubold. I'd love to take another class with him.

Prof. lumbold is a good professor that works in his field of instruction so he's very knowledgable. i had him for general psy and got an A all you have to do is study is powerpoints that he gives you online and you'll do great!! P.S. come to class, NEVER leave to talk on cellphone, and don't talk to peers while he's teaching..

OK. Lubold is an amazing professor, he tries to be funny & as clear as he can. He demands a lot from projects and papers because they guy is a clinical psychologist. He knows his stuff so, if you want to learn and actualy are interested in psychology field, take him.

Best professor I've had so far. VERY knowledgeable, not only in his field, he's just full of information. Class is very interesting, and I find myself looking forward to it. He's eager to help. Tests are pretty easy if you go over the material. I would take him again in a heartbeat!!

Dr. LuBold is great. He practices too, so he shares alot of funny stories about patients. He's got a great sense of humor and makes the class laugh. He's not stuck up and he is approachable with any issues. I would take him again. 6 Grades: Paper(easy), Presentation(easy), and 4 Tests(easy if you study). Tests are all multiple choice. 50 questions

I hate psychology in general but the professor is ok. Not enough tests, so you really have to study to get a good grade in all the 4 test that he gives.

Professor Lubold is an OK teacher. His lectures are quite interesting and sometimes funny. His tests are based on the power points and the textbook. We only had six grades in the class. four test observation paper, and scavenger hunt. He is helpful and not strict on attendance. It is easy to get a passing grade in his class just study .

Professor Lubold is a great teacher,though you do have to study his notes and read the book and if you do all of that you'll pass!

This professor was great!This is the second time I take him Developmental in 6 weeks with him was great.He gives great study guides read the chapter,his lectures are interesting his paper is easy because he gives you exact guidelines and a chance to make corrections.I wouldn't take a psych course with anyone else.He knows his stuff,always available

Took him in the summer and I gotta say it's the best class I've taken. His lectures are interesting and he only uses Powerpoints. If you do well on the tests, presentation, and paper, you're good to go. I always looked forward to his classes since he was a funny guy and everyone in the class loved him.

Dr.Lubold, a great teacher with a loving heart would teach you much more than the knowledge on book. His broad base of knowledge provides you very knowledgable insights into the questions as well as his interesting examples. He respect his students; value their intellegence & efforts. His class notes, side bar and case study makes you get A easily.

The best class/teacher you will ever have! Dr. Lubold is an AMAZING professor! He is knowledgeable on almost every subject you can imagine and his class is SO interesting. I learned A LOT. It is not hard to get a good grade on the class as long as you study and are interested in the subject... I highly recommend him!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Awesome professor! As of any college class, you have to put in effort to do well. Always available for help and wants his students to do well. Those students that complain are probably the ones that dont show up to class and don't try to learn. It is not high school!

he is awesome. he makes learning very interesting and as a teacher he does a lot more work than the student. he breaks down super complex ideas and he is a great motivator and just inspiring all together.

He is an amazing teacher and a great person. His class is easy if you take notes and read the sections. He doesn't give quizzes or homework but mandatory tests and one group project. Hes very dedicated to motivating students to snap out of their usual high school routines and try to make something out of their lives. Take him!

Great professor! I have thoroughly enjoyed taking his general psych class this semester. He knows what he's talking about and does his best to explain topics in an interesting way. Very knowledgeable and he wants you to succeed. Don't be afraid to ask questions about any topic! He likes answering them. Too few grades, but if you study, you'll pass

I really enjoyed Dr. Lubold's Forensic Psych class. He has a somewhat dry sense of humor in his powerpoints and makes some social commentary, but I enjoyed it. Always answered emails promptly. Class has just the right amount of assignments without being too easy or too time-consuming. The case study was the most interesting part of the class.

I loved this class because I learned a lot about psychology. Professor Lubold explains complicated things in an easy way and his powerpoints are simple to understand. You need to participate in every class with a discussion post or a quiz and tests are easy if you pay attention to powerpoints and take notes. Would take more classes if needed!

Mr. Pierre Have What I Like To Call Dry Humor, His Joke Are Funny But In A Weird Way. His Test Are Your Grades. You Can Literally Get A Good Grade On Everything Else But If You Fail More Than Two Test You Fail The Class. The Textbook Is A Must, If You Dont Get The Text Book Forget Passing The Tests. He Slide Shows Are Help On Quizzes, but not test

He is AMAZING! The best Professor Ive ever had! He cares for his students and he is always available to help! You have to read and study a lot but it is absolutely worth it. I will definitely try to take all of his classes!
