Good teacher for a dull subject. She does not provide much of a formula sheet. You have to know it.

She is sooo funny! Her class is a little challenging, but if you study hard, you can pass...I got a C, but didnt study much.

VERY GOOD PROFESSOR BUT SOMETIMES IT CAN BE HARD TO UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE IS TEACHING. GOING TO EVERY CLASS IS VERY BENEFITIAL AND SHE LIKES IT WHEN SHE SEES YOU PUT EFFORT INTO LEARNING!

Make sure you copy all of the examples that she provides for you in class. Study her notes and read the chapters in the book a week before the exam and you will do good. She gives excellent examples during her lectures. Just pay attention.

Ok,stats is boring, but you can't blame the teacher for that. She is very clear explaining everything. Go to class and do your homework you should do well. And someone said that her speaking is not good, but you can understand her perfectly. Her writing is hard to understand. Good teacher!!!

Ping Sa is very helpful and has a genuine interest in her students even though her class is so big. Her tests are on exactly what she covers in class and on her quizes. Her accent is thick, so it takes a little while to understand her, but she writes everything on the board.

If you hate math Ping is for you. She teaches straight foward with no tricks. If you attend class and take the quizes you will be fine. Study ALL the quizes for the tests, nothing will be on a test that wasn't on a quiz! Ping is great!

i loved her so much!! she's so adorable.. haha she has a pretty strong accent but its understandable.. her and the TA's were always there to help.. it was pretty easy

I hate math, but I have an A in this class. She makes everything understandable; make sure you use Bb. She posts all answers to everything study quizzes... BEWARE! None of the tests are cumulative, except the last one!! Be there and study. Don't worry about her accent, it's not bad at all.

Very adorable little lady from Taiwan and one of my favorite stat professors at UNF. She puts a lot of effort into her classes and lecture presentations. Her mispronunciations of {within}, “Wizzeen” and {in}, “Eannn” are like finger nails on a chalk board, but this is the only thing I can criticize.

Cute personality; sometimes difficult to understand through the accent; fast pace.

AWESOME PROFESSOR! I hate math and she helped me through it. Stat is easy, but Ping only makes it a more enjoyable experience.

She covers everything you need to know for the tests in class. You just need to listen to what she is saying, do the homework and you will do fine. It's true that her accent makes it a little bit difficult, but wake up people! you will not always have the luxury to deal with people speaking American english....

Great teacher. Doesnt collect HW but it does help if you do it. Practice problems from her worksheets and the book and you will do fine on quizzes or exams. I was failing at first but I caught on and made an 82 on my last Exam. Her accent is a little weird at first. Get the TA kommareddy... he goes over everything be4 the quizzes! Has an accent tho

As long as you attend class and do hw, you'll do fine. If you follow her advice for quizes, you'll pass with an A or a B. She's extremely nice and a great teacher! She knows her stuff.

Great Professor Her notes and explanations in class are the best. She takes her time in teaching the material to u and she is very enthusiastic. Every Friday there is a quiz and u need to attend class to do good on them. Tests come from quizzes and final (cumm.) was kinda hard. Go to class and u will pass.

Stat is the EASIEST math class i have ever taken ever. i never study. GO TO CLASS. she gives lots of hints and emphasizes stuff thats on the tests. she's so adorable and little and asian and has an accent so you have to listen closely. her handwriting sucks. but i love her

I am a stats major and i loved her class. She is one of the best profs in the major. She explains it very well and honestly tries to help you. Her projects are somewhat difficult but relevant and you know they will help you once you graduate

one word "shalushums" in other words, awesome. i had to drop the class becuase i had a horrible TA icouldnt understand for my life, but ping is awesome, and says "solutions" funny. take it if you hate math, and need to pass. easy A and you learn too! go to class!

so sweet, she has an accent but you can understand her. attendence isnt mandatory but if you dont go, you wont get it, and if you do, its easy! shes super sweet and u only take 3 exams (the other quarter of your grade is quizes)i have yet to open my book but if ur not good at stats, buy it. Take myer as your breakout if you can!

Dr. Sa is AWESOME! Prior to taking her class I was a bit worried b/c I'm not a math person( i can only add and subtract. LOL)but she made it better. She has a bit of an accent but nothing that'll cause a language barrier. Quizes come str8 from her notes.She gives 3 exams and weekly quizes.Try to get Claire as a TA, she's awesome.

I loved Ping! She is amazing. I hate math but liked the class. She is extremely helpful and helps you out as much as she can. I would take her again! She is SO cute!

Ping is so adorable! Really she is the sweetest thing. She explains the material thoroughly and there is no way you wont understand it. She is very willing to help and will always do so with a smile that makes her little asian eyes disappear >) has an accent but still understandable. definitely recommend her!

good teacher, but has an accent that can be a little troublesome. her tests are just like her quizes and that makes it easier to study for the exams. not a bad teacher, but not the easiest all-around teacher in the world.

Teaches very well and is very enthusiastic about the material. Her Asian accent makes her a little hard to understand at times, but it's really not a problem. Her tests are a little hard, and sometimes you'll think you're doing things you haven't learned yet, but she drops a lot of quizzes so it's not too much to worry about. Overall a good teacher

Great teacher. I sat in the front and understood everything. Her tests were very simple and straight to the point. If you go to the break out class you are guaranteed to get good grades. Hope that you get Tony as the TA and everything will go great. They really try to help you in anyway possible. People who did bad in her class just weren't trying.

Her Class is pretty easy, as long as you attend the class and pay attention. You don't even have to study that much in her class.

She is nice and can be funny. Pay attention and study and you should have no problems. She dropped three quiz grades for us so that was helpful.

attendance is not mandatory but highly recomended. do what she says to prep for quizes and exams and you'll do fine. she is an AMAZING professor to have.

She is so cute, shes always smiling and makes you happy to be in class. I thought the course was very easy, as long as you go to class. I never did any of the homework and understood everything just by the worksheets she gives out in class. 3 tests, 1 cumulative final, and quizzes every Friday.

Ping is amazing. She clarifies everything and you learn all you need to know from her worksheets. She cares about her students. She is also so cute. Her office door is always open and helps all students in need. The best Statistics professor at UNF.

Wonderful professor! I am terrible at math but I loved her teaching method and found it to be really clear and understandable. But in order to keep up, do not miss a class. She writes all of her notes on the board, and the weekly quizzes reflect those notes. She posts quizzes & answers online afterwards which are perfect when studying for exams!

She's adorable! Here class is easy if you pay attention, she is sometimes hard to understand but she tries to make the class fun. I would suggest doing the homework and studying the previous quizzes. The homework helps for the weekly quizzes and the quizzes help for the exams. Attendance isn't mandatory but it's very helpful!

Dr. Sa is super cute and funny. Class was pretty easy, attendance isn't mandatory but it's much easier if you do attend. Quizzes every Friday, she dropped our 3 lowest.. only 2 tests and a final. tests were okay, easier when i actually did the review she suggested! overall, fairly easy class with a nice professor!

easy class if you pay attention. has accent so listen close. lays everything out for you first day, very clear. get kane as TA, does good review before quizes.

Class wasn't hard. Quizzes every Friday, but easy. She drops 3 of them. MyStatLab online homework is also easy. Attendance isn't mandatory, but I attended class everyday and took notes. The exams are basically the quizzes with different values for the questions. Cheat sheet is used on Final.

was a pretty easy class, as long as you go to class you'll do fine. never used the book so don't buy one unless you're a serious overachiever.

I really enjoyed this class! I am horrible at Math and she made it understandable! Quizes every Wednesday but they help you to understand the knowledge! 2 exams and a final and to do good on them all you need to do is study her quizzes!I WOULD TAKE HER AGAIN BEFORE ANY OTHER STATS TEACHER!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ping is a wonderful teacher if you go to class and pay attention. A lot of people don't do well because they don't show up or take notes when they do. I've gotten a 100 on both tests so far solely by reviewing my notes and the quizzes.

She is a really sweet lady. Very clear in lecture, her accent does not hinder her ability to teach. She obviously is very knowledgeable and passionate about statistics. Quizzes every week, but she drops around three of them with the lowest scores. Two exams and a final. Easy online homework. I would take her again.

I love this professor! I'm not a math fan at all but professor Sa makes stats as simple as possible. Great study tools and the weekly quizzes help you learn the material a lot. She drops a couple of the quiz grades and grades the test on a curve. I highly recommend her for anyone who thinks they don't like math.

Dr. Sa, is a really great teacher. She is able to provide a unique an valuable perspective on the material in the course. I have the unique perspective of taking this course AFTER having a job in which I applied many of the ideas in the course. I can certainly say that she is great and teaching this stuff.

Sa is the cutest! I would deff. recommend her, maybe it's because I like math that I didn't find it that hard, its not easy but she does her best to make things clear for you. Don't need the textbook either, strictly on what she does in class is tested. She also drops quizzes

Ping Sa is an adorable Chinese woman! She is very sweet, and explains things pretty well. She goes very slow, so everyone has a chance to understand. She drops a fair amount of quizzes, and gives a good amount of extra credit. The online homework is also pretty easy.

I recommend sitting in the front of the class, but she is really a great teacher. You have to go to class because the handouts and notes go with the lecture. She is flexible and she wants you to pass. I went to her at the end of the semester and she told me what I needed to make on the final exam to get an A,B , and C in her class.

I'm awful at Math and I got an A. Go to class, study for quizzes, and study both sets of quizzes she post for exams. If you can do the quizzes she post (I didnt do great on the weekly quizzes but looked at them hard for tests) you will pass the class no problem. She dropped 4 quizzes and 5 homeworks. Wants people to pass. Gives extra credits.

She's the sweetest and most helpful professor! Her class is a little hard though, but I love statistics. She always stops and asks if everything is clear before moving on. She's amazing. She just has an accent.

I loved her. She made things easier to understand. I didn't even use a book. She assigns hw online and on the book but will only count the online hw. She gives out a ton of extra credit points at the end of class. She'll drop about 3-5 of your lowest quiz grades and hw. I highly recommend taking her!!

1 hw assignment a week guven on monday dur on friday. Quiz every friday and extra credit given in class, 2 test and final exam. Happy sweet lady, end of year dropped 4 quizzes and 5 homework grades.

Dr. Sa is very sweet and loves her students. Expects academic maturity. Exams are tough and long. Most people do badly on the first one so STUDY! HW and in-class examples are good representations of what to expect. Group projects aren't too bad, but require some creativity and she is very picky at grading them. Has strong accent but understandable.

Regular HW that reflects material on exams. Projects aren't bad but hard to divide the work between partners. Exams take forever, final lasted 3 hrs. Dr. Sa doesn't use Canvas and will direct you to her office if you email. Otherwise, she's very nice and want to see her students succeed. Material's not hard but need to know all the intricacies.

Her lectures were clear & concise, it made the class really simple. Attendance isn't mandatory but I'd suggest going to every class because her lectures and notes were a big part of how I passed the class, 7 during some classes she gives extra credit opportunities. Quizzes/tests heavily based on notes, & I never used my book only for access code.

Professor Pa is the sweetest and she knows her stuff. While she does have a strong accent, I could understand her and her lectures are simple and easy to follow. Weekly quizzes with five main exams throughout the semester. Attend class, complete weekly homework, and study for the quizzes/tests and you'll be fine!

Dr. Sa was great imo. Very sweet. Lectures were interactive and she gave us great real world examples. Group projects were focused on applying topics of survey sampling we went over. Project instructions sometimes unclear, just gave general idea and said show me your best work, I want to see your creativity. Formulas were worst part of the class

You get one open notes test a week. Attend class but ask questions in ur break out because lecture goes too fast to ask too many questions. She is the sweetest lady in the world and genuinely cares for her students. She can be hard to keep up with but she stays after class and has office hours. If you ask her for help, she will be there for you.

She was really good (in my opinion) simply because she explained the material and provided lots of notes and opportunities. Make sure to attend class if not youll be lost.

Professor Ping is such a sweet and very organized teacher. She regularly updates grades and has all the resources and notes you need on Canvas. Your grade is going to be based heavily on the weekly quizzes she gives and the exams, but she is very fair with grading and gives study guides as well as drops your lowest quiz grades.

Very good at teaching. Sit in the front to hear her because she talks very quiet. She thoroughly explains the topics and shows you how to use the calculator multiple times. She gives a quiz every week but she reviews before the quiz. Pay attention in class and youll do fine
