EXCELLENT CLASS

Professor Golf makes sure that you have your work done. By this I mean if you do not have it done he is messaging you and emailing you wondering if you are okay and if you understand the material. Definitely tries everything in his power to make sure you understand and get an "A", not just pass.

Prof. Golf encouraged class participation by asking questions and providing a comfortable atmosphere for the students. We could ask him or another student if we had problems. He taught the book and assigned projects that are beneficial in both our personal and professional lives. Constructive feed back was provided and appreciated by all.

In order to get an A in this class you have to stay in constant communication via email with the professor which he clearly states in the syllabus. Assignments are easy, if you do not have the most current version of Microsoft Office there are some things you cant complete in the assignment but the professor adjusts your grade if you tell him.

Proffessor "Golf" was one of the most easiest to work with. Responded to questions on time. Great communicator and motivator. He sends emails constantly reminding you of what is due. I took this class as an online class, and he was very flexible with meeting with students on campus if you have questions regarding any of the topics. Easy A!

Professor Golf is my favorite professor so far. He is genuine in his concern about all students' success, and his icebreaker games at the beginning of class are an excellent way to get students comfortable and you get a cool prize from one of the foreign countries he has visited. Homework: Very reasonable. Conveys material: Very well. He's awesome!

I think that Professor Golf was a good online professor in that he was on top of emails and gives you feedback. There were only 4 quizzes so that was good. He has good rubics to help show you what he wants. He was kind and showed up for a meeting with my Team Group which was cool and gave us tips. He is nice but requires the work to be completed.

Dr. Golf was amazing. He explained every assignment in detail and was always there if you needed help. This was an online class, but he was willing to meet you at the campus if you had questions or needed 1 on 1 help. A very fair grader and assignments were not to hard or crazy. I highly recommend Dr. golf and would take his class again.

If you have ever used a computer in your life, then you'll get an A in this class. Literally the easiest class I have taken so far. If you know your way around MS Office then you wont even need the textbook, I definitely didn't. If you just show up and do the work you'll get an A. People says the tests are hard, I disagree. Prof is great though!!

Take this professor if you get the chance! He gives a well organized syllabus, and sticks to it. I took the 8 week class, and while there is a lot to learn, he makes it easy to understand. You will read a lot. You will need to participate in the classroom and on the discussion board, but if you do the work, you will succeed.

the professor was very clear with his instruction and communicated very well for an online class. that really helps. the material is simple if you do the homework. He had it where you do a section on all the microsoft office apps(word, excel, access, powerpoint). You must complete hw and projects on each application. Def. take him for CGS1100

Professor Golf made a boring class interesting and was very helpful and responsive. He took time to make sure we are all on track. I wasn't sure it was helpful to take this a computer course, but he showed me there were lots of tools I had been missing out on over the years!

He always gave good feedback and clearly laid out what was expected of the class. Discussions post only required you to tell what you learned from the lesson and how what you learned would benefit you in the future. When I had any issues, he was great at responding to my emails in a timely manner. I would definitely take this professor again!

This class and Professor are easy/great. You should show up to class to do the in work assignments which are an easy A. The quizzes are long but you can use your book, so another easy A. Take this Professor's class, you won't be sorry.

I really loved this class and my professor! He was smart, knowledgeable, and always willing to help us understand every concept. The grading was clear and concise and the difficulty wasn't too hard, but there was still a lot of room to learn a broad array of new information. I would absolutely take another of his classes again!!

I love Mr.G he's an awesome teacher. I wouldn't mind taking him again. He loves what he is teaching and know what he's talking about. If you have a question just raise your hand and he will walk you through it. Homework is done in class, if you don't finish it you have till midnight Sunday. Test are done online. There not hard just time consuming.

Professor definitely takes the time to make sure you understand the material, gets to know his students, he strives to improve and become a better teacher and makes class interesting because he is interested in what he teaches.

He gave us a little extra time on assignments when hurricane Matthew came through. I enjoyed the class and would definitely take him again in the future.

If you want to learn computer skills, this is the guy to take. He sets up the course so you actually learn things. It's not an "easy A" but you could pull out a "B" or "C" no problem if you're a full time student.

Youre learning Mic. Ofc. programs, so you have to be involved. "Golf" cares about his students success; communicate if you have stuff; meet with him to get help. He engages his online community IE you, and watches for those falling behind *as teachers should -IMO.

Great class. Textbook/access code required to do the classwork. There were four discussion board posts and two replies, four quizzes, and 4 assignments outside of the SAM website, all were simple enough as long as you followed instructions. Entire course was open from the beginning so it was easy to work ahead.

Professor Golf should be named Professor Gold! He is absolute gold! He cares so much about his students and I only had him for an online class. Thorugh the semester I was never afraid to ask him a question. I knew he would do whatever it takes to help you. Will take him every chance I get.

If I was struggling with something or needed some extra time on an assignment he was more then happy to see what he could do to help. Professor Golf is an awesome educator. Participate in the discussion boards and complete all of your assignments. These applications are used globally and having the proper training to use them will be effective in your career.

Loved this class and professor. Uses a web based program to complete assignments. Not entirely Mac friendly but professor gives you alternate options as long as you let them know.

I took CGS 1100 online and this professor made the class very manageable. From the first day, every assignment with its due date and points value is posted in the syllabus. Dr. Golf is easy to reach via email and always responds promptly and is more than willing to help with any questions you may have. He wants his students to do well!

If you follow the syllabus, than you will earn your easy a, just do your homework. Professor is very nice and will help if you get stuck at any topic.

Dr. Gold is an outstanding professor and person. He was very understanding and answer to my emails right away even before the class started I reached to him to ask him some question and he answered right away even on holidays and Sundays. It is a very good class to take. He is the kind of professor you wish to have the whole time through college.

I loved this class & Mr. Golf. It was an online class but he was willing to help and replies back super fast. The work is super easy and very informational. I learned so much that I didn't know without so much work. I would recommend to anyone who wants to take CGS 1100. The book is a bit pricey especially because I didn't use it much but had code.

Amazing professor! Had Dr. Golf for a 7 week course. Even though the class was very shortened and quick, the work was fairly easy to understand and complete. Very easy course even with the basic knowledge of applications.

For a class that could have been a struggle, he made it a fun and easy learning experience. Honestly, you have to try to get anything lower than a B in this class.

Dr. Golf is so cool honestly hes very understanding. It is a hybrid course so make sure you have a computer. If you need to miss the class he will understand but its hard to make up the work when you're not in class to ask any questions that you may have.

I am a student with limited computer skills. This is also my first attempt at an online/hybrid classes. For me the learning curve was steep. At one point i considered dropping this course. Professor Golf was very encouraging and motivating. He was always available before or after class to assist me as needed.

This professor really wants his students to do well and is always available for his students. A lot of reading outside of class, but if you do your work, in class activities, and show up and participate, you will pass. I really enjoyed his class and would definitely take him again.

Dr. Golf is a very cooperative, engaging professor and his teaching style for computers is very simple and relatable. He tries to make every class interesting with jokes and goes step by step with the assignments we are assigned. Participation is important as he makes it a grade to attend class. Professor Piti is willing to spend time, one-on-one, to assure that individual students' questions are answered. He does a very good job of not just telling students how to complete various tasks, but of also demonstrating those tasks, step by step, during class, and asking if there are any questions before moving on to the next step.

This was my first hybrid class and would take Prof. Golf again. Class met virtually once a week. Prof. Golf is very personable and wants to be sure you understand content. He asks for questions before moving on and spends time after class if needed. He provides clear instructions and examples. Do the work, read the assignments, you'll do fine.

I was very busy with work and had some people quit and he was very understanding with my few missed classes and late assignments

The professor does a great job at engaging the class for a live online course. He makes it very clear within the syllabus and reiterates multiple times what's expected from us as students. He gives you plenty of changes to correct work and allows you to turn in work late for a lesser grade just so you don't flunk. Would take him again.

After having been out of school for a few years, Dr. Golf has been a fantastic professor. We met weekly for a virtual class where we went over tools and concepts for entry-level IT and application usage. Attendance is vital as some assignments are explained or done in class. Everything is simple and Dr. Golf spends time answering questions.

Professor Golf is very clear on due dates and what to expect. He is helpful and understanding. He will give you tips on how to better your project so that you can correct it and gain a better score on it. I would highly recommend Professor Golf and take his class again if I had too!

I took his class online and chose an tba class. Every single week he provided recorded meetings of his previous class where he goes over in depth what you will be doing for that week, explaining the topic at hand, and showing you how to do the assignment. I enjoyed the class. He was one of the nicest professors I had in my two years here.

For my first intro to Information Technology class, Dr. Golf made it a breeze, he explains every assignment well and if you show up and do the work it is an easy A!

He provides students with the opportunity to set up lectures in case the class is confused about a subject, giving other students plenty of time to finish their assignments. I would take the course again, especially if Excel assignments are involved.

Professor Kanjanapongpaisal made this class very easy, I would say if you fail this class you're trying to fail. The assentments were mostly easy, and if you struggle with any of them you can retake them. If you need more retakes all you need to do is email the prof and ask for another attempt. This is the least stressful class I've taken overall.

I'm not a computer person I just know enough to get by. The exams are between 90-100 questions and the final is 125 if you love computers this class is for you. Professor Piti is overall a good professor, quick to respond, and help in the success of his students.

Work on assignments a little every day since it is a lot of material. Follow instructions and you will pass with no issues.

My 7 week course. Professor Golf was awesome. You must participate in class, most assignments can be done while class is in session. Microsoft 365 programs are talked about & used during class. The quizzes and exams are based off of the textbook readings. No essays to write! All required information to pass the class with an A is given to you.

A lot of textbook reading, but all the quizzes are open-note, plus he allots three attempts and retains the highest grade. Lectures are recorded for re-reviewing. Gives time to work on assignments in class. Gives extra credit opportunities. Makes himself available to his students and is online savvy. Great professor!

Professor Golf is a great professor he takes the time to work with his students and explain things if you need something repeated. He does require a 3 hour discussion with the class once a week. The quizzes are open book, but you still need to pay attention as he has alot of hands on assignments too. Overall I would take his class again.

professor golf was really nice and he really care About his students but the material and classes itself It's very time consuming. Each exam is 100 a questions and each homework no less than 50 questions I would not recommend taking this class if It's not required. it's a lot of work

This course is literally all online, but Professor Golf is the best. He is understanding, caring, and really wants you to pass the class. trust me, at first the course layout feels so overwhelming and confusing, but once you understand how it works it's like a breeze. The trainings and exams are long, so delegate an hr or two for them.
