his class was fun for A&P. not easy but the atmosphere was laid back. finally... a professor with impressive credentials who doesn't try too hard!

I love this man! he is an excellent teacher. He was so great the first time around that i took him for A&P 2. Dont think that you will ever find an easy A&P teacher cuz its such a hard course, but he'll definetly make it easier for you! he also only has like 25 questions on the lab practical! how easy is that.. dont pass him up!

great teacher. makes the subject matter easier to understand. he drills that difficult material into u till you get it. the BIG THING is to STAY PREPARED. pop quizes every now and then, but its only to help you truly learn the material. the lab manual became my bible...i find it way better than the actual textbook. maybe you can skip the textbook??

To all biology or non-biology majors, if you really want to learn, i highly recommend Dr. P. A&P is not an easy class but if you pay attention and study the materials it is very impossible not to get an A+ in this class. I had so much fun in this class and proud to be one of his student.

Dr. P was great. I went to a major university with a medical school and never had a better science/anatomy teacher. He'll test you but make it fun. His lecture notes are out of this world, helps a ton...Would I recommend you take A&P from Dr. P? In his words..."that would be a Y-E-S".

Dr. P is an awesome tacher, down to earth yet authoritative. Best thing is his main intention is for you to learn not to intimidate you. A lot of nursing lecturers can learn a lot from hs mode of teaching. Good job. When you are done with his class, you know the material in and out.

Just finished Dr. P's SCIT 1407 class. This was my second time to take this class and just finished A&P II (both with another professor) and I found out that I didn't learn much the first time through. Wish I had taken Dr. P the first time. Tough class but wealth of knowledge is boundless and will be able to take with you into your nursing career!

He is a great teacher, his lectures are fun. He uses real life examples to make you understand, but his exams are not easy he is VERY TRICKY and does not give reviews so you have to read hard and understand the concepts. But overal he is recomendable.

Dr. P- absolutely the best! He's been through med school and knows his stuff. It's not often to get a teacher who can answer every question and give examples, especially in such a compresensive and complex course like A and P. The material isn't easy but you will learn and be entertained. Bonus quizes and no text- you'd be crazy to miss out.

Excellnt. A&P 1.Related everything to clinical experience. Nix lecture book, study pwr pnts, go to class. Lab practs were blanks you had to fill in. Tough, but I'm a first year nrsing stdnt and have retained a lot. DO your lab book wk. Can be condescending. I got an A. very fair. No curve, but extra crdt up to 10 pts per test! A whole letter grade!

Dr. P is a very passionate, professional and highly competent professor. I am able to grasp phys concepts thanks to his lec notes. You HAVE to give him 100%, but keep in mind, he will ALWAYS give you 150%. If you want to truly learn A&P (which is a challenging course) TAKE DR.P.....if not, well "THAT'S YOUR BUSINESS!" SCIT 1407, ONE WEEK TO GO!!!

Dr. P's classes are full of pizzazz. However, he takes hard to a whole new level. But, it is good prep for the medical field. It is obvious that he is passionate about what he does and he tries to instill that in his students. If you are looking for an easy pre-req class and are new to this field...choose another professor.

Dr. P is probably one of the best teachers I have ever had in my whole college experience. Dont come to his class and expect it to be easy because its not! You must study! However if you attend lectures he explains it all in a way that makes it easy to understand. Trust me I went from a D to an A! He gives 110% and only expects the same from you.

Very hard, but the class is hard. Read the syllabus well and know what is due and when. He is very helpful and will tell you exactly what you need to know to do well! If he posts videos of labs, watch them. He is telling you what to know for the exam! Practicals are fill-in-the-blank, but I feel like I learned so much! MD, so he has good stories!

Dr P is an awesome teacher that truly cares about his students success. AP is a very hard class, it has nothing to do with the teacher, it is the material. You have to study. He has excellent PowerPoints and his tests are based off of them. Study real hard because it is a lot of material!

He only teacher online and fast tracks now, and I failed it with fast track in the past but I still want him again..crazy?...not at all! He really wants us all to excel and he has "talks"with us when he doesn't see enough passes after a test and eveyone is looking all sad faced. He is helpful, but the homework is too much, very hard to keep up with his homework especially if you work and have kids...I do not recommend him for a busy mum. His exams are hard also.

By far the hardest class and instructor I've had...but I loved every minute. He is the most knowledgeable and passionate professor I've had. He knows everything about his profession and it is very obvious how much he enjoys what he does. You do not have to attend class...but I recommend you do. His lectures make the material relevant and hes funny!

I just started summer 1 with Dr. Pius. All of the great comments that I read before starting the class were true. He is very passionate and tremendously helpful. He wants to see you to succeed. Day 1 he tells you what to expect from him and what he expects from you. He has so many success stories of past students.

Way too much homework. There are 14 quizzes that are 100 questions each plus discussions plus lab quizzes- all for a 4 week class. His syllabus is 25 pages long and that should have been my first clue. Unstructured class. Tests are a long shot- never know what you will get.

Way too much work.. something to do literally everyday. 25 page syllabus should have been a red flag. Maybe it's better during the full semester but in the summer time- don't do it to yourself.

this was a blended course both lab in class and lecture online. The material is already hard to understand but Dr. P does his best to help everyone. He really cares about this students and wants them to be successful. There is a lot of work but it is all to help you get better. i would recommend him to a friend!

I took Dr. P for A&P 1 and 2 this summer. Anatomy is a hard subject in itself but he did everything possible to make it easy to understand. Anyone who said that there was too much homework probably didn't start it until the night it was due. Some tests can be hard in A&P 2 but if you study the powerpoints and understand the concepts, you'll be ok.

Although there is a lot of work, when taking Anatomy that was a given. However, all of his assignments are clear and you know about them from day 1. He also does great work in his personal life. My only strife was that he would bring his political view to class, and if you disagreed with him he would dislike you.

Loved his class. Taking him for 2402 as well. He makes A&P as simple as it vs be, but there is a lot to cover in this course. He gives good opportunities to make a good grade. He also makes it cheaper for the students, by the study tools needed!

Tough Class, Great Professor. Yes he makes you work for it. If you want to succeed in Medicine take him. Lecture Topics are tied and related to Clinical Applications and importance. It was a good experience taking Dr. Aboloye's class this being my first online class. Very helpful feedbacks and positive encouragement when I was struggling in his class. Review questions from Online graded quizzes saved my world. Use them effectively, I didn't initially, quiz questions are on Lecture Exams. No hands-on-lab. Love this man! Thanks

Will take his Online APP 2 class again in Summer 2. He provided you with all you need for the class and to be successful, IF yu do the work. Lazy students in the class who don't do the work complain, I see them at Testing Ctr all the time. AP is hard but you need Dr. P's clinical experience to break it down for you. Excellent teacher above all.

This is my first time taking a science class online and I love that he posted all resources for us to utilize, notes, handout & video. And I thank him for that not all professors do that. Well organized. With a much better effort I could have gotten A instead of my B grade, If I had used the resources much earlier in the semester. I Recommend him.

Prof P, is awesome. I retook this class in summer and got am A! His lecture videos, power point notes and quizzes are what you need to study to do well. I have learned so much in this class and look forward to taking him in the fall for 2402. He gives a lecture exam for each ch 100 ?S each. Lab quizzes are easy. Discussions are also easy.

Could not have done it without Dr. P's organized notes and lecture/lab videos. I took the AP 1 at my university with a C, retook it with Dr P, got an A, and the AP 2 also w/ an A. This Instructor stands equal or above our university professors.

I didn't know what to expect from this totally online class. I have read great things about Dr. P but 1 thing stands out: he's dedicated to his students success. Clearly stated grading and expectations, yes he makes you work for your grade (homework & assignment) that helps you understand the materials. Online quizzes are extremely helpful on exams

I wish Dr. P teaches other Classes, would likely take them with him. Better teacher than my University "professors", clear Topics, notes and Exams. Lots of Resources (videos, quizzes, review sheets and discussion board), If you have to use them well you would ACE his class!

I took Dr.p for AP 1. Great professor, he knows what his talking about. He will make lecture and lab both interesting. You'll want to come to class everyday. Know your left and right and don't forget it. I definitely recommend him. No text book needed only lab manual and access code. You won't regret it.

If you want an easy A, don't take. If you really want to learn & retain what you learn take him. Online "quizzes" for every chapter w/100 questions each! Lab also has quizzes for each chapter, not as many questions & a lot easier. Lab is why I got a B instead of an C. In lab you are not given a word bank so you have to really know everything.

Excellent Teacher, clear Instructions and grading. As a Nursing student, I feel more prepared now after his AP II class than I was with AP I from my other University. I truly appreciate his clear and fast responses. I have enjoyed Dr. P's class.

Dr P is timely to your email responses, I really love this class! He make the content really understandable for an online class. I ve learned so much, & the way he tailored his class to contain the clinical applications. Students who don't want to do work or learn would find his classes challenging. I am doing my second year at a Nursing school, without Dr. P's help I wouldn't be here. All the A & P concepts and the multiple Online practice quizzes helped with the HESI and Board Exams. North Lake is very lucky to have him and am glad I took his classes

Overall he's hard and a-lot of work, but if you want to take a class where you can retain information and actully learn for the future then take him. He does 100 question quizes for each chapter and 30-40 question lab quizes for each chapter. Also, 1/4-1/2 of his lecture exams are from the quizes ( so study them). Lecture is much harder than Lab :)

Best Instructor in DCCCD, his examples and jokes in class makes you remember and retain stuff. Cares about you passing and succeeding. Never boring class. He is more lively in person than his pre-recorded Lecture Videos are. Taking Dr. P again for AP II in Spring. I just took the HESI Exam and Dr. P's class prepared me well.

He gave us multiple opportunities to obtain a good score and I pray he would be able to have same impact on other students like he'd had for me. I recommend him

Dr. P is a fantastic teacher! He made lab and lectures interesting while making sure everyone understood the concepts and what would be covered on the exams. You can tell he puts a lot of effort in and truly wants his students to succeed. I would definitely recommend him for anyone needing to take A&P.

I just wanted to thank Dr. P and let you all know that the information I learned in his class over 2 years ago held its relevance into my current academic endeavors as Dental student. This class was certainly hard! But main reason for that is Dr. A spends time and teaches you the physiology portion extremely well. Some of the shortcuts he taught, I still use in medical school! So this wont be an easy A but well worth it if you want to do yourself a favor and prepare for a future in healthcare/medicine.

Dr. P is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. Although I did not receive the greatest grade, I feel like Dr. P has taught me so much that I will hopefully go on to use in nursing. I hope to take him for AP2. He is very motivational and cares about his students success. He also responds to emails fairly fast.

I really appreciate all the effort Dr P put into his classes. I enjoyed the class & learned a lot. His lectures were great & I am very grateful for all d resources he made available to us. He's a nice guy and he puts in a lot of effort but everything moves so quickly. Then his tests are so challenging.

I love his Videos for Lecture & Lab. Lots of resources provided and if you use them well, you will pass with A. His ppt Notes and online quizzes are the key for Exams. Most Exams questions come from the quizzes. Yes he gave lots of Homework (the quizzes & Discussion Threads), they help your grade and help you learn, if you want to learn

Best professor ever! He truly wants his students to succeed . I will be honest, this is a class that I recommend you do not skip. Also there is a lot of homework, but it is manageable. Its A&P so of course it wont be easy, you must work hard for an A. As long as you do all the quizzes and STUDY the PowerPoint notes, youll be fine.

Dr. P was a very good professor, his powerpoint notes were very informative and interesting as he applied everything to clinical situations. He is truly invested in his student's and is willing to work with you to succeed. You need to put in the work since anatomy is hard, study his powerpoint notes and chapter quizzes and you will be fine.

Best engaging Online class I have ever taken. Threaded Discussions and Online quizzes keeps you engaged on important concepts 4 understanding . The quizzes alsays prepare you for his Exams. I absolutely love the makeup of his course. The notes -lecture/lab videos were extremely helpful. Examples help you see/visualize what concepts are. Very engaging course setup. If you use the resources you would make your A. Don't use them & you have yourself to blame with a bad grade. Don't blame this Dr. P That's on you. Best Professsor in DCCCD.

Never take the hybrid class! The material given to you is NOTHING like the test. Be ready to teach yourself. There are usually 3 chapters for each module and 100 question quizzes per chapter (not including the lab quizzes). He requires you to buy his personal "lab manual" it's really just a workbook, but does not really have any useful information.

just want to say thank Dr. P for his teaching and i can proudly say that he forced me to be a better student and i have learned so much from his class about anatomy and about myself as i found different ways to study the material the best way that would benefit me. Thanks for his lectures and personal time. If you are lazy, his class is not 4 you

I took AP 1 &2 w/ Dr. P, thanks for all of his love and support, letters. I got into Med School Last Fall, coulnt have done it without Dr P help, wisdom/support. He Pushed me to do better & I will forever be grateful to have him. All that I learnt frm him are now obvious foundation & repeat Topics/concepts in my current Med classes. Learn frm him.

A dedicated Professor. As a returning student w business career switching to Nursing, didn't know wht to expect w these classes. Dr. P is very thorough in his Online class. Study his ppt notes & weekly quizzes (yes that's alot of hw), & yu would pass with B or A. More than half of hw quizzes are Exams (lec/lab) anyway. Fail to study & yu Fail exam

Tough class but do-able. Homework online quizzes are helpful but the lecture videos those are also extremely helpful! Take Dr. P if you want to learn A & P, not for easy A. I learned a lot this Fast Track class. Planning on taking him for BIOL-2402

love Dr. P and his class examples. wants the best out of you. I learnt alot about me and how to study and succeed. Lots of homework but they are good for review for the 100question lecture Exam. Will take him again

One of the best professors in the field. You don't want to miss his lecture even though attendance is not mandatory. This course it self is tough and require you to study, but he explains every topic so well and make it fun and relates to everyday life. If you're planning to pursue your career in nursing get his class and learn for lifetime.

The best professor I have ever had, period. He makes things easier to understand and allows you to see things from all angles. He constantly makes jokes and is super funny which makes learning from him more enjoyable. You have to really put in the effort to get a good grade in the class, but he does his best to ensure that you do well.

The class isn't difficult as long as you do the hw/online quizzes. I didn't listen to a single lecture, just google quizlet answers for hw and review it with ppt slides before exams. My only problem is that he requires you to drop a couple hundred bucks to buy the lab manual/online portion and homework takes a while. It is also fast paced.

B4 taking the class,Dr. P advised me on how to study My experience was more than I hoped for. It was very rewarding to be challenged. And I really enjoyed Dr P lectures online. He used pneumonic that helped me remember & additions like the calcium boys, I wont forget. though the class is hard but you WILL learn. It was pleasure to take his class

Taken during an 8 week online course -working full time w/a baby. If you read his ppts & study your quizzes, you should do fine. He provides pre recorded lectures, power points, plenty of optional practice, and study sessions prior to exams. Labs are easy. Great if you are going into the medical field and you want to learn and be challenged.

Doctor P is an actual doctor with an MD behind his name, and knows all of what he's talking about. I took both AP I and II back to back and can say that it was one of the best experiences. Get ready to work for your grade, lecture material can be dense, and requires a good amount of studying. Now off to nursing school with unmeasurable knowledge.

Dr. P is great. This is probably one of the best classes I have taken. His lectures and powerpoints are spot on. It's alot of work but well worth it. He gives many assignments that gives you an opportunity you to raise your grade and helps with memorization. I will take all my future sciences with Dr. P. Text book and quizzes were all on line.

5 lecture exams 4 labs drops the lowest grades.100 ?'s quizzes per chapter and discussion boards. You don't need a book as long as you study the PPts ( REALLY STUDY! and understand concepts) you will be fine. it is NOT an easy class, but you will definitely learn so much from it. DO NOT TAKE IF YOU WANT AN EASY A

Seems like a lot of work at first, but you really memorize the material well while doing the tests and discussion boards. Powerpoints + great video lectures (online class) + doing all the assignments in time is enough for a good grade. And you actually get knowledge! Honestly, I don't understand why some say "difficult"... It's studying, babe!

I really enjoyed Dr. P's A&P I class this past semester and appreciate all of the clinical applications included in the course. The way he taught the material helped me understand the concepts thouroughly instead of just memorizing the concepts. I have signed up for your A&P II course during Spring, and I am looking forward to another semester.

At the beginning understanding the syllabus was definitely confusing but once you start the class and actually get to work it, it's not bad. Once you know the syllabus everything is clear cut and dry. The lecture videos and power points are long, make sure you have good time management. It will be easy to pass if you have time management and study.

I took this Professor during the 4week Winter & made A+. Tough class but was do-able even during Holidays, if you are dedicated. I found Dr. P' Notes, Syllabus and Announcements are extremely helpful. He's very structured/organized & very fair, some of my classmates don't like his no-nonsense style for excuses (extension for exams/hw). Best Prof

I want to say thank you, so much to Dr P for his help and tips. I went from making 60-70s to passing with a 92 on exam 4! Once again thanks for his inspiration and motivation help, and was able to pull out a B. I will take him for any class.

This Professor has an amazing Online setup that beats all the other Online classes I have taken (and I've taken plenty), so far. Very engaging class. Dr. P's lecture notes and video plus Online quizzes are sufficient for an A. I don't get why some say its difficult, you have to Study people! ... to learn! I took his AP I and AP II 8-weeks, w/ A's

I'll say based on my experience of plenty Online classes: the BEST Professor in Dallas College. Clear grading, great structure and format, ppt notes clear. Assignments: yes plenty but counts toward your grade plus helps you understand and study. Failed to do Quizzes before the Exams and you would fail the EXAMS. If you are lazy don't take his class

At first don't let his syllabus scare you, it is very confusing the way he formats it. He will let you know what due dates are coming up and he will go over powerpoints with you to make sure you know what to study. He does have long assignments but they are easy to do mostly labeling or quizzes. Make sure you study and it'll be very easy.

Despite this being an online course, I wanted to thank Dr. P for all the resources provided, such as the pre-recorded lectures and threaded discussions, that have allowed me to be successful in his course! I have no doubt that this information will be useful for my future endeavors. Fast responds to my questions and emails even during the Holidays

As long as you study his notes you will do just fine. He is not super hard, but of course you have to study with anything. His exams are exactly what you review and as long as you study your lab manual and notes he provides you will be fine. His lecture videos helped me out a lot. I was able to ask questions and he answered me always.

Dr. P gave excellent teaching methodology. He made A&P II interesting, easy to comprehend, and he was always available to answer our queries. I have learned a lot under his guidance and I hope to take more of his classes in future. Thanks Dr. P for all you do for your students.

As the semester went on, the level of difficulty increased week by week. I had anticipated that. With the lectures, powerpoints, labs and quizzes, Dr. P prepared us exceptionally well for every week's exams. I have learned so much from this course and I am excited to take Part 2 with Dr. P this summer. Awesome Professor.

Online class, well organized format for self taught. He had Virtual Office hours 2x/week and he is available so you can pop in to ask questions, very helpful. Homework Assignments-Quizzes seems a lot initially, but Extremely helpful as most questions from the quizzes are on Exams. Master them and you will do well. Great teacher

He gives you ALL the resources to succeed in his class. If you do all the quizzes before any of his exams, you will be more than ready for them. People that complain about him being "hard" are the students that tend to leave during open lab or that don't even show up to lecture classes. He is an amazing professor!

Best Professor in Dallas College. Reply to my emails within 4hrs even weekends. Virtual Office Hrs very helpful for mini-semesters for immediate answers. Lots of Homework quizzes that is exactly on Exams. Good Discussion Board. Love Dr. P attentiveness to details and to students but he's strict and not a pushover. Great prep class for my RN school

Took 4 week class, I let him know what grade I needed and he gave me helpful tips to pass. First anatomy prof I had that did not have fill in the blanks for exams. Discussion boards due weekly and a lab/lec exam as well. Sends email reminders with due dates weekly. Drops your lowest lab and lecture exam. Just do the work and focus you will pass!

Good teacher and a Christian. Had Bible jokes in class. Very thorough and detailed but doesn't allow for petty excuses like extension for missed homework. Do your homework quizzes and the ppt notes and you will make an A. A motivational Professor

Dr. P is all bark, and no bite when you get to know him, really cares for his students and wants you to succeed. But you must do the work including the homework. No gimmes. Best advise to succeed: study his ppt notes & homework quizzes, these are your study-guides as half of the Online Homework quizzes are on every Exam. Do that you can make an A.

I am writing this to say thank you to Dr. P for having me in his class. The two things I liked most are his focus to connect the course with practical aspects in real life: Clinical implications. And his effort to maintain the course integrity. In Generally, it was a good time.

Took Dr. P's AP I & II Oncampus 8wk classes, he's amazing if you attend class! You miss out when you miss his Lectures. His explanation and videos are to the point. He encouraged me when struggling in AP I with personal issues. That impacted me in really big positive way, much more than you can imagine! Dr. P was supportive & encouraging. Best ever

A quick note to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. P for simplifying such a complex subject to make it incredibly understandable. Am looking forward for more units with him. ppt notes and Online quizzes are to the point and helpful on Exams.

Very Difficult class, disorganized. Quizzes have 100 questions on Lab per chapter. You are doing 700+ questions a week if you take his summer class. Made an A by not sleeping and memorizing hundreds of questions and 150 slides per week. The professor is good, but the curriculum was INTENSE. If you have a job do not take this in summer.

Dr. P was very dedicate to our class throughout this semester. I truly appreciate the knowledge and guidance he shared. The course challenged me to grow, and I'm grateful for the experience. Thank you for making a difference in my life. 

This was a very well-planned course! I have taken several Online classes, this is the BEST formatted and interactive. He responded to my emails and questions very fast. Nice person. I'm taken him for AP 2 next. Homework assignment quizzes are helpful for Exams, just do them ahead of Tests.
