Be ready to write! She is very kind to you whne it comes to helping you at writings, but she only really gives you merit when you truly show that you ARE REALLY INTERESTED in improving. YOU WILL HAVE TO WORK HARD IN HER CLASS

Professor Gibson is amazing! If you put the effort into reading the books and paying attention you can ace this class. Pe patient and always talk with her. Not only is she a great professor she'll inspire you to do things you never imagined possible.

shes alright if you do the work, dont take her intesive wrighting class. she is very critical on everything. over all att is nice but a quize everyday and papers the books are interesting. and she is all about sex so there are many sex conversations. is you are ready to do the work take her.

She is a great teacher, if your lazy you cant take this class. A quiz everyday, lots of reading. She is very strict on her grading. Her class goes by quick you really leave her class with much knowledge but she is hard if u dont focus, she is not afraid to fail u, but if u want a challenge take her

I love her. SHe knows what she is talking about. She hates lazy people and she hates people that are in college because they HAVE to be in college. She will destroy your work but when you rebuild it, you realize how much better your work is. I became a better writer in general because of her and I was a good writer to begin with.

I want to write my papers and be finished with them all this revising she lets us do keeps interfering with me staying ignorant. It's like you have to learn something before she will give you a better grade. who does that?

Gibson is a great teacher. I love her books becuase they have to do with today worlds. she is trying to teach the 21st century students morals and values. she is hard on he rpapers but trust me ull learn alot. she is great she knows what she is doing. take her if u want to really learn.

This class is heaven. She gives great literature, only asks that you read and take ridiculously easy quizzes, a couple of papers and her final is optional if you do all the previous work. She just holds great class discussions so you don't really need notes b/c the class is so good. Take her! She is easy, fair & interesting

She is AWESOME! Your writing will improve guaranteed! Only thing is she tends to go on tangents and strays from talking about the readings. She talks about sex alot, but she's hilarious. Everyone enjoys this class.

Gibson is a great teacher take her if you get the chance BUT she expects you to WRITE LIKE A COLLEGE STUDENT! this doesn't mean that she is hard but she makes herself very clear on what she wants... and she gives quizzes everyday

Loved her class. Walked in scared out my wits but left w/ an A. She gives quizzes everyday but it forces you to stay on top of the readings instead of waiting to read the entire book the night before a paper. She drops the two lowest quiz grades & her quizzes have bonus questions. If you get an A/A- on them & the 2 papers, no final exam for you.

SHE CARES ABOUT HER STUDENTS ACADEMIC SUCCESS. SHE WANTS US TO LEARN HOW TO WRITE PROFESSIONALLY. SHE IS THE BEST. I RECOMMEND HER IF YOU WANT TO LEARN. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE STUDENTS THAT LIKE THE EASY WAY OUT AND ARE IMMATURE THIS CLASS IS NOT FOR YOU. THIS CLASS IF FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE.

Uses real life examples to explain the material. Easy during discussions, but harsh when it comes to writing assignments, tough grader.

she is not easy w hen it comes to writting quizzes every day so u must read and sparknotes will not help cuz she picks the least obvious detals from the book good class discussions and she makes u really think and learn just make sure u read becaus eif not u will fail and her papers u must have a draft overall i would take her again

If you are here for an easy A then get out of her class. Prof. Gibson will challange you mind & your morals. She makes you laugh but dont take that lightly because if you dont do the readings & put your all into class it will make you cry. Strict yes, worth it yes. If you are here to learn, which i hope you are then take her. You wont regret it.

This professor is serious when it comes to writing and grammer. she is very interesting, but challenging at the same time. if you want to improve your writing she is who you want to take.

she is hard. im not going to lie, she is a good professor, interesting and knows her stuff but she grades your papers as if u were a writer already i left her class traumatized she quizzes everyday and there is a lot of reading...if you like to work hard then take her but if you don't then i recommend u don't take her

Very interesting and humorous lectures. Mostly a listen and read and writing course. Participation is not a big thing in her class as she likes to talk.

Although she comes of as a ahrd ass, and her grading is seemingly strict, gibson grades you on your performance at the end of her class. While in her class you may get F in the begging of the semester, but if you improve your writing you will get a higher grade. she is a good professor where you will learn. She curves your grade.

She is the best I love her. I don't understand how people get to college and expect to not do any work. Her Poetry Class is an Easy A if you do embrace it and do what your suppose to. You should definitely take her for poetry you will not regret it, you'll learn A LOT.

One of Those Professors you cant appreciate until you get to Grad School. Period I was the the comment that bashed her for A-Z. But Now I realize what how much I've learned and taken away from this class. Thank You Gibson

She's awesome, you will literally learn in this class. Took her twice & do not regret it. Her classes are definitely not boring, one of those professors who relate things to the real world to help you understand. Quiz everyday just do the assigned readings. Two papers (2pages max) a take home midterm and a final. If you fail, its from pure laziness

She is a good professor. She wants students to think! I enjoy her class. A lot of quizzes Her choice of novels are good. The only problem I have is her grading on papers. I understand that she wants you to learn and write well but not a writing intensive course. She is strict on that. If you can write well, like to read, you'll be fine!!

Gibson is a great professor. She keeps the class interesting by relating the novels to real life. Have to buy a lot of novels but they're pretty cheap so it's not that bad. Interesting book choices, quiz everyday so READ, midterm paper, final paper + in class portion. Overall, if you write fairly well and read everyday, you'll do well in this class

Prof. Gibson's an inspiring teacher who respects her students like no other. If you show you care about your grade then she will help you pass. If you are struggling, she's always there to help. Although she is a very tough grader and expects a lot of work out of you each night, she knows what she is teaching. You must work for your grade. Take her

She's a great professor, she will really make you improve your writing. There are quizzes every week based on chapter readings of the books she assigns. The books are very engaging though so if you enjoy reading you'll love this class. There are only 3 assignments, and tbh the first two were very simple, just make sure you proof read!

Professor Gibson really is an amazing professor but no she is not an easy A. Her class inspired and developed my writing in so many ways. Her work over the years as a screenwriter really helps her as a professor because she teaches with such passion. I truly recommend her class for all writers who are open to critique and growth.
