She talks very softly, and very fast. However she is wonderfully helpful (outside of class only) She takes Powerpoint directly from the book, and has you fill in the blanks. Her Tests are VERY ticky...beware of mind games. All in all a decent teacher.

she is very nice and the course doesnt require a lot of work, if u study for the tests, u will be fine. she takes attendence every now and then so it isnt mandatory.she doesnt give hard assigments, and they are usually group work.

It's hard to hear her and pay attention cuz she talks really fast. Tests are somewhat difficult, but she always has time for you after class!

She is a very pleasant person and always makes time for her students outside of the classroom. She is sometimes hard to understand and sometimes flies through slides a bit fast, but I would take her again. Very nice!!!

Dr. Chen is the nicest, most energetic, and fascinating teacher I have ever taken. If you can pay attention in her class and take her notes - the tests are cake after studying the notes. I wish the students were nicer to her in class & not so rude!

Ms. Chen is an awesome person. Rather hard to understand at times but a sweet heart and will help you out no matter what as long as you go to her and ask. She is the most hyperactive teacher I've ever seen! I love her!

She has a really think accent but she was sooo helpfull when you went to her office and talked to you. she wants to see you do well in her class, and now that she lets people proofread her tests, the class is really easy

She is an amazingly sweet teacher. She will help you out to no end if you actually go up to her and talk to her. I heard her extra credit is very detailed and long, but truthfully, you will not need it as long as you actually pay attention and look over

Chen is freakin great. People say they cant understand her, but she makes sure she yells when she talks. Straight foward, tells us what we need to know, tests are straight from the slides. Get used to hearing, "Are we cool?" Great teacher.

she is such a wonderful person! She has helped me out and has written so many letters of recommendation for me already- and awesome ones at that...she has been so nice to everyone and is sooo awesome...she will work wiht you if you work wiht her and he class is easy! she almost gives you the test!

She is SO nice, by the 2nd week she knows everyone by name. You don't have to go to class but if you do and you participate she'll help you w/ answers on the test at the end. Easy class projects, easy assignments, all Ppt. tests are simple but make sure you take good notes or have a friend that does

Dr. Chen is amazingly nice. She will do anything to help you. She may not speak english well, but she makes an effort and comes to class cheerful. The Tourism Geography class seems like a lot of work, but all you do is 2 presentations and the easiest paper ever. No TESTS, just listen to presenters!

Don't drop this class after you got the syllabus.This class is not very easy,but Dr.Chen is extremely nice,she will give you all the help you need.All you need to do is 2 presentations and 1 paper.Stay in this class,you will LEARN A LOT from the presentations!It enhences your knowledge of the world.

The class was very EASY! this class is a newer class so there are things to work out - but she is sooo nice and will help you out whenever you want. She writes amazing recommendation letters and is so sweet and cares for students - go up and talk to her - she will rememnber you and she will hook you up with school stuff!

EASY class, just study the notes and you will get an A! dont really need a text book which save lots money. Great class will take her again! Love her!

One of the best teachers at UCF. Get used to her "Are we cool? She gave hand out but you need to go the her classes fo get the key info. Her assignments are very useful to your career. If you realy do it... will take her class again..

Loved Po Chen! Very nice lady if you respect her. She will bend over backwards to help as long as you're nice to her. You don't need to buy the book, but you have to show up to class. As long as you have all the notes, you'll get an A.

I have to defend Dr. Chen! The people who can't understand her are the ones who don't listen!! She is a wonderful and sweet lady, and gives plenty of generous extra credit for the slackers. She is also incredibly funny, again to those who try and listen. Rosen is full of immature 18 year olds I'm not suprised that these comments are so intolerant.

Dr. Chen is one of the best teachers at rosen. Although she is hard to understand she really cares about students' learning and wants them to succeed. Extra Credit assignments and surveys are her thing, but she is a wonderful teacher. People who don't understand her its because they don't want to learn.

I don't know what you immature kids are talking about, she is one of the best professor I ever had, you can see from her power points that she puts her heart into teaching the class! She really deserves our respect for that, how many professors will do that!! Just listen and stop blaming her accent for your incapability to take a class seriously!

Chen is a cool teacher. She empowers us to manage our own grade. Prepare to read the book. Her online discussions are great! Too demanding on the guest lecturer project. Hate group project but this class is great. She made us to interact with industry leaders. Best class of my last semester at Rosen.

My second class with her. She is an amazing teacher. If you go to class, and pay attention the tests are cake. She makes HR interesting. I can relate to what I am doing at work. She wants to know you. Very nice.

She is awesome! She knows her stuff. She is also up to date industry information. Her tests are easy if you study. She taught you how to do research. I used it at work. My boss likes it. I would take her again for another class.

Dr. Chen is okay. The class itself is pretty easy but the assignments can be pretty annoying. Gives a lot of extra credit so take advantage. Not many other profs teach HR, so you almost have to take her.

She is super enthusiastic and really enjoys what she teaches. She does have a strong accent but if you can work with it, do it! You do not need the textbook at all, just the powerpoints which you print out for lectures anyways. Her tests are tricky with wording so make sure you really study (she tells you exactly what slides to study from).

You will not need to buy the book for HR. Her classes consist of reading from her slides. Prepare for a very boring semester! Due to her accent, it is very hard to follow. Just read the slides at home and you will be fine. She gives a good review for her 4 exams. Final is NOT cumulative. Extra credit & assignments are very easy!

Dr. Chen is very concerned about her students' achievement. She gives tons of extra credit for random stuff. Tests are straight from her notes as well. She's rather boring during lecture so bring entertainment. Assignments are really easy but the first one is pointless with a lot of copy and paste from websites. Easy A

Dr Chen was amazing. Very easy class. She gives you all the notes and the book is not needed. She has 4 tests and 4 assignments which are fairly easy. Another beauty of it is the final is not cumulative.

The best class I have ever taken. Intense but very interesting. The best class for my last semester in College. Take all her classes if possible. She prepared you for your future.

Gives out TONS of ex. credit. Test r str8 from her slides. Kind of hard to understand. Not clear on directions, assignments aren't hard just a lot of work. Does take attendance. Overall ez class, just time consuming.

She LOVES her students and makes it as easy as possible to pass - loads of extra credit. Her English is difficult to understand at first. One big project - do it at the beginning of class to get it over with. Not much book use. I recommend.

Super easy. Takes attendance 8 times a semester. But TONS of extra credit to make up for it. I missed 4 attendance grades, but made it all back in extra credit. Tests are fairly hard, but my grade went from a C- to a B+ because of extra credit. Def recommend!

She is Chinese which means her English isn't that good. I could barely understand her but i took the mixed mode class so i only saw her once a week. Everything is online, quizzes, tests, bi-weekly discussions and one group project/presentation. A lot of work but easy.

Class had its pros and cons. Pros: Dr. Chen was very nice, gave tons of extra credit, was an easy grader, and group work/discussions were actually nice. Cons: Sometimes hard to understand, assignments confusing at times, and class was all but POINTLESS. If you can take her entirely online, do it.

the professor is nice. she is clear and helpful. i started the class late. the professor is more than helpful. if you did well in the Discussion and the final group project you would get the A. i am not could at writing so it is why i got a B

Great professor. She is very organized and makes everything we do in class clear. She explains well and I have learned a lot from her. Fun class and you should attend every lecture, it's a blast. There are quizzes almost every class but they are very easy and it's a easy class. She is very nice and gives a lot of extra credit.
