Took ITE 221 with Prof. Das at Alexandria campus. He is one of the best professors in NOVA. He is very knowledgeable in this field and knows the material well. Lectures are informative and easy to understand. If you show up to class, quizzes and exams are easy.

He gives a great class. Even though I am not at all interested in anything technological, he made the class fun so it was easy to pay attention. He is very easy going and if I had to take another IT class I would make sure to take it with him.

This is my second semester at NOVA. I took ITE 115 with him last semester. He is the best professor at NOVA. I even changed my major to IT after I know him. I am taking ITN 100 with him this semester, You learn a lot from him.

Professor Das is very organized and comes prepared for lectures. He is approachable and responsive. If you email him, you'll get a response back quickly. Take his class if you want to learn everything about web development, html and css. Exams are not difficult if you attend class.

Prof. Dos requires outside of class studying; overall the class is easy as long as you actually dedicate the time to studying for the final exam.

Don't miss his lectures as he provides excellent in-class review for homework and tests. Professor Das is very smart and you can see that in his lectures and discussions. Had a lot of fun in this class.

He knowledgeable. He wants you to succeed. There are PowerPoints and class notes that he provides. He just lectures, write good notes. Book is not mandatory unless if you want to learn more. The book was useful for me bc we meet once a week only for 3 hours. He responds to emails quickly. I learned a lot; would take him again

Professor Das is very passionate and a great professor. He has a lot of knowledge in his field and helps students understand everything. His teaching skills are great! He replies to emails almost instantly and works with every student to help improvement. Would highly reccomend to everyone.

He was so helpful, let my class re-do work so many times if you were late. He has a good sense of humor and would do his best to explain work. You'll get past the accent he is understandable and a very nice guy. He is smart and if IT is your major he has lots of tips for you!

amazing teacher. Easy A. 4 discussion questions 4 quizzes, one paper, one mid-term and one final. Gives notes don't even have to write your own notes. The quiz questions and final exam questions come right from notes. The midterm is computer design which isn't hard because he gives you resources to use. He is very helpful if you need extra help .

Very knowledgeable professor of IT department. Homework assignments are straight forward and easy. Exams are directly from study guide.

Easy class if you go to class and do assignments. Book is good to have but not required since he posts all chapter notes online. Final exam is worth 25% but he provides good review and study guide.

Such an amazing professor! I took his 8 week class and ended up with a B. There are 4 discussion board posts, 4 quizzes, for our midterm he allowed us to write a paper on any IT topic of our choice and present it to the class, and the final exam was very easy. He gives amazing advice for the IT world! Please take him :)

Great Professor! He spends a ton of time explain any topics students have a problem with and makes sure each student knows exactly what is required of them throughout the class. He is very smart and has a great sense of humor. If you want to enjoy learning I highly recommend taking this professor.

A lot of reading; however you pay to learn not only for credit and diploma. homework and quizzes are very easy if you pay attention to him. He helps a lot and he gives AMAZING lectures if the subject is somewhat important. If he feels you are slacking on homework then he cuts points. he is very easy and straightforward and helpful. He is very knowledgeable. His syllabus is very clear and he tries to help his students succeed. He is more than willing to answer any questions that you have and he tries his best to explain the topic. The homework is from the back of the book. I took the summer course and we had quizzes, hw , midterm and final. He does quiz and exam reviews prior.

Annadale IT professors are not the greatest in my experience but professor Das is an exception. He's one of the best I have seen here in NOVA. He's experienced, knowledgeable, and more importantly a super teacher. I highly recommend.

Very upfront about grading and participation. He's one of those teachers that wants students to be successful. Communicate your needs to him and he will go above and beyond to teach you. You MUST participate. Wish he taught more classes I need.

He's good and lectures are entertaining. Classes are mostly lectures and hands-on. He provides good exam reviews and as long as you take notes you're fine.

Prof. Das is great instructor. He provided notes for every chapter to help students understand the material. We had interesting topics for the discussion board. There are four quizzes, an all inclusive final exam, a midterm paper that had to related to IT, and a computer design paper. It helps to have a background in the topic for this class.

Here's the deal with Professor Das, Just don't act like a child in front of him! He hates students who show up and surf the internet and pay no attention in class! If you care about your future, professor Das will care for you. I spoke to him after class on some IT career advice and he was so helpful. Also, final is the biggest part of the class
