This professor I will take next semester back-to-back for both GEB 1011 and ECO 2013. I'm taking he's Saturday Micro class at present and the impression is beyond my expectations in all honesty. The class is not easy but he's there for you. Do his homework, attend lectures and take his quizzes and you'll succeed.

This professor is excellent. If there's anything that comes to mind is his organization. He has everything clearly stated in BB along with syllabus plus gives you an agenda every class so we don't feel lost on what's to be covered. If you are lost, you are the "messy" student, he gives us all necessary tool to be organized and pass the course.

This class requires reading and analysis but he assigns enough work consistent with quizzes/exams. His syllabus was clear and agenda well explained on whiteboard every time. He makes me think about current events . Explains clearly by prvoviding examples as well.

I took this class during Spring 2022 mini term. The professor was there all the time, pushing us on! A rather easy class with losts of interesting business info! but you have to do the homework and attend lectures.

Amazingly well-prepared and kind professor. He stays after class after the class is over to listen to students. Many of us in the class ask questions and he makes himself approachable in and out of the class. I took him for online courses. Truth be told, If there is anything to Mr. Pontono is his organization. Never did I or my classmates had issues not understanding anything in his calendar we were like 40 super huge class. . He literally has ALL info you need in the calendar which agrees with the syllabus for due dates etc, exams, etc.

I love Professor Ponton. He explains and offers study guide with LOTS of feedback. If one does not learn, it is because one does not care. He gives his best. This fine professor will not give away the grade if you don't earn it or work hard for it. Blame on you, not on him really. NO free rides with him and I aced both eco courses with him!

I took both of this professor classes and no complaints. This class requires a lot of homework but dont blame it on him. He is excellent and explains his stuffy. If you are not a good student, just avoid eco completely b/c you won't make it with ANY professor.

Interesting class and I learned to understand how the big economy works! He explained the impact of variables and their net effect which is difficult to grasp if you are new to this subject. He offers handouts, study guides and feedback too plus two lowest grades! You stick to his agenda and you won't miss a thing! A+ instructor really!!!!!

Great organization. All well set up. Excellent planning and execution of the objectives. I learned ECO at last after attending this class. Book is also easy to follow and he gives a fair amount of homework for practice. I strongly recommend this teacher who was also recommended to me!

Good lectures, responds quickly to messages, grading criteria is clear from the get-go. I learned a lot from this professor and would definitely recommend others to take him. My one complaint is that sometimes he fell behind in class due to being cut short by the period ending (and I had a regular 16-week, 75 minute course). VERY tough, though.

The best professor in economics! My first class related to business I took it with this teacher and it was the best thing. Very enthusiastic when giving lectures and you don't get bored or sleepy by listening to him. He seeks for students involved in the material and cheers them to participate. Obv taking him for my ECO2023 and ECO2013 classes!

He gives out daily reminders. Responsive with emails and clear grading scale. The class is difficult if you take it as a 6 week course. Get ready to read! I would take this professor again! 5/5

Prof Ponton is good at communicating with us and giving extensions when he makes a mistake on an assig. or quiz. Its a lot of work but took an 8wk and its just the content of the class. He sets up numerous DAILY reminders and a timeline to make the workload more manageable and so people dont miss any assign. Overall he was great and understanding.
