Many things about this course are out of her control such as the crazy amount of homework and the exams, but as a prof she cares about your understanding. If many people are confused by a TopHat question she will take a lot of time for everyone to understand. I wish she did more exam question examples instead of showing us how to derive equations

This is a really hard class and she does not make it easier. Lectures are bland and hard to find the relation between them and the hw. Try to get the other prof for this course if at all possible. Your saving grace will be the large bank of practice exams on Canvas. If you're also taking calc 2 the exams are the same week so good luck with that.

Teaching: Goes through plenty of examples, iClicker questions will improve understanding. Would be better to not derive equations and do more examples. Professor: Easy to talk to and will take time to ensure that you understand the material. I HIGHLY recommend paying attention to the lectures as studying for the exams will be way easier that way.

This is for PHYS2230 (Physics 2 lab). Teaching: Depends on the TA, the manual is BAD, DO NOT BUY IT, it has NO instructions and the post-lab questions will be on canvas, it was a WASTE of money. The TA will explain what to do, I suggest writing it down as he will have to go table to table. Lab reports are completed during lab time. Easy lab.

I have found that Pooja tends to overcomplicate a lot of the topics in class. If anything I am left more confused than I went in and have kinda taught myself outside of class to make it clearer. Lectures are a bit scattered and the practice problems I feel are not helpful. Neither are the pre-class quizzes.

Standard intro physics course. Taught myself pretty much everything from the book, with the occasional question to her. Do the homework, and you will be fine. Overall, no issues, but nothing particularly amazing either. Would take her again

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. She overcomplicates literally everything and going to class will leave you walking out with a headache. The homework is so time consuming and it is not even on the test and doesn't help with the test problems. If you don't have to take this class for credit for your major , I suggest avoiding at all costs.

Professor Puneet was very nice, it is just the material that she teaches is very hard. She gives you lots of assignments which can be a grade booster if you try on them. Attend class and you will do well.

She is a very dedicated and caring teacher. Honestly, I am appalled by some of the reviews here. These fail to mention one of the most important things she teaches a 200+ student section. So, this is really a problem with the university rather than her teaching style. She is always available outside the classroom. Very caring and kind IMO.

I don't understand why her ratings are so low because she genuinely helped me learn so much. It's a hard class, regardless of the professor. She lowkey gives you the answers to the TopHat questions and they're usually pretty simple. After each question she discusses them to give you a better foundation of basic concepts, which helped me a lot.

Good professor, very accessible outside of class and helpful. If I hadn't gone to office hours just before the final, I wouldn't have passed the class. Her lectures are good but just teach yourself the HW. The final takes from the first three exams and some unit 4 stuff. Take advantage of the resources she posts on Canvas, it will save you.

if you plan on taking this class in the summer, make sure you have time for it! had homework everyday from main + lab section but Dr. Puneet was accessible outside of class and very accommodating. I had to teach myself a lot of the material, but the videos can be a great reference as well. would recommend this class, just plan accordingly!

Dr. Puneet's class is chaotic both on Canvas and in person. She has unrealistic group assignments and does not coordinate well in the classroom. She basically just reads PowerPoint slides during the class, and her explanations are unclear and unsatisfying.

Pooja is a very passionate teacher, but I think it carries her away at times. Her lectures are very hard to follow most times. It's a student body issue as much as it is her. It's a huge class and most people answer in-class problems with AI, so she assumes she's covering it well. If attendance was optional, you'd be better off teaching yourself.

I just went through the practice exams a few days before each test and I was fine. I had a difficult time staying engaged in her lectures, and as a result I did poorly on in-class polling. A lot of time is spent on boring drill problems and little is spent on conceptual understanding or interesting applications, so I read Wikipedia during lectures.

Dr Puneet doesn't deserve the ratings she has. Physics 2210 is a hard class, but she teaches it well. Her lectures and demonstrations are actually pretty interesting if you pay attention and participate in class. The homework's suck per usual, but do them and take practice exams and you'll do well.

I enjoyed this class SO MUCH more than PHYS2070! Dr. Puneet WANTS to see her students succeed and is very accessible outside class. She is a very dedicated, kind, and caring. Her tests are incredibly fair along with her class. I watched the videos from Pope to supplement my learning and redid all questions from class & passed with flying colors.

Pooja is a below average professor. She absolutely BLASTS through the lectures yet still manages to never finish what we need to everyday. By the time you get to magnetism and the last half of physics 2 just consider yourself cooked with Pooja Puneet. However, if you're between Dr. Brown and Pooja, pick Pooja please. Brown sucks.

She explains the topic very well, especially if you reach out to her with specific questions outside of class. Some examples and homework problems weren't helpful relating to the test because the homework requires a calculator while the test doesn't. In class, real-life examples are used, which help comprehension, but more examples would be better.

Goes over a lot of content quickly, very kind and tries to make sure everyone understands. Tests are reasonable but there is a lot of homework (i spent like 4-7 hours every week on just this class) Lots of resources available though. Getting through the class trying to understand the material + the HW was really hard, making exams relatively easy.
