She's a great teacher. One of the best in Chemistry I've ever had.

At first, I was going to drop the class, but I figured I would stay and try my hardest. Now, I think that she is a great teacher and really knows about what she is teaching. Her methods of teaching changed over time and it was for the better. All you have to do is try in her class and you will be fine!

She's a great teacher! So i don't know what all you guys are talking about. I stuck with her class so I know what I'm saying. Labs are easy because if she sees your effort she gives 20/20 and exams you are allowed a cheat sheet! Except for the finals. Quizzes are all with a partner and you can have a notecard with u! She even gives xtra credit!

Dr. Menon is great. Very approachable and willing to spend extra time with you if you need it. Her exams are challening but not unfair and if she sees you trying, she gives you some leeway. It could be a LOT worse. She's obviously a brilliant person and I got a lot from her class. If you need to learn chem and want to then you should take her.

pretty easy class,very helpful but hard to understand at times. if your are taking PCAT, better watch out because lot of topics are not covered in the class that are on PCAT.

I loved Ms Menon as a teacher. She was not just a teacher, she was a WELL prepared one. She outlined lesson plans, made study guides,and helped you understand the material always. But dont get me wrong this class is in NO WAY an easy A,but if you pay attention & study you should have no prob. Take her.. shes awsome..

The homework and material is hard and she does her best to make it easy. The homework is harder then the tests and has stuff you don't cover in lecture. BUt the test is directly from her lectures and they are very easy. Very approachable, kind, understanding and helpful.

AVG grade was a 70% in my ch131 class. Class was difficult, she never went over the material for the homework which is different from the test. She did cover quiz and test material in class, this was NOT on the homework. Homework material was homework only for some reason. This is a big part on why people did so bad. COME TO CLASS AND TAKE NOTES

she's a nice teacher. is helpful. homeworks and quizzez help our grades. she gives review sheets b4 exams. which are very helpful. material is hard. but all goes well. i recommend her

Dr. Menon is awesome, anyone who gives her a bad rating it is because they are lazy and they expect to get an A just by enrolling in the class.Dr. Menon teaches everything very clear and as long as you do your HW and study for your tests you will do fine, im getting an A+ right now and i barely have to try.

Ms. Menon is a really great person and if you go to her with questions she can help you understand the lesson better. It is hard keeping up with her class with over 50 questions of HW a week and then quizzes and exams. It became hard to concentrate on other classes as well.

I love Professor Menon; she's a very easy, fun and helpful professor. She helped me a lot. I love her so much. She really helps you a lot. I love her very much. She is a great person inside and out. She really wants you to get an A+ in the class. TAKE HER if you have never took a chemistry class before. I would never regret taking her, ever! :)

I love this professor. Dude, take her. TAKE HER! I am telling you. She is da bomb digady yo. Easy A+. You can get 100% on everything. Quizzes and tests are easy. If you study, participate, and do the work, then you should pass with an A+ 100% in a breeze. Hope she also teaches CHM132 cuz I will def. take her!

i thought Menon class was easy to pass but hard to understand at times but i good teacher i wouldn't recommend taking her if you don't like showing up for class

BEST PROFESSOER EVER!At times she may be a little unclear but overall very awesome. she goes over everything and she's always available for extra help. NO TEXT BOOK NEEDED instead her own spiralbound notes are used. She's humerous and she cares about her students. quizzes are given every week tests are given after every 3 weeks.BEST PROFESSOR!

Eeek. Enough with the unrealistic postings. This is a tough class, and she can be difficult to understand at times. Still, she tries her best to be there for you when you need her most. Overall, you'll be pleased with her class. This just isn't one to blow off.

She is tough and a little hard unclear from time to time (because the material is difficult- not because of a heavy accent) but I think she's aware. She often made concessions... if it seemed like the class wasn't strong on a unit she'd let us take quizzes as groups.

Very Nice Teacher and very helpful. Uses her own text book. Labs are too easy. just study for the tests and quizes.

Took her for chm131 and I would say overall she is a great teacher. Has an accent but not bad at all. she also makes some funny jokes. she really wants to make sure you understand what she is explaining. I would take her class again.

Class was too easy, homework wasnt even mandatory. She wasnt boring either like my bio teacher. Labs are easy to understand i look foward to the class every week

shes a cool teacher. she's pretty helpful when you dont understand something.her quizzes look just like the homework and her tests look just like the quizzes and homework. so just study those. the material isnt too bad if you had chemistry before but its not like you'll fail if you didnt. Shes pretty cool, i would take her again

Overall, an awesome teacher. Labs were easy, homework wasn't necessarily mandatory but suggested because the quizzes and exam reviews were very similar to the homework. She doesn't recommend the textbook, but I found it helpful to study from. After quizzes she doesn't make you stay for the lecture but you should. TAKE HER.

Most of the time she is super sweet. The homework and quizzes help raise your grades. She even gives study guides before the tests that were old tests and most of the time contain several of the exact test questions. It can sometimes be hard to see her during office hours, but she will help after labs. Take her. You don't need to buy the book!

Everyone who says she's a bad teacher didn't try in the class. Menon has lectures/tests one day, lab/ practice exams the other. Practice exams are great study guides, don't need to buy the book. Attendance is highly recommended, but after the first couple classes she doesn't take attendance. Easy A on labs if you show up and do the work. Take her!

She is soo nice! And her accent isn't even that bad, seriously, she is a smart woman and speaks just fine. She obviously knows chemistry well and answers all questions. The hard part is doing the work on your own but face it, you need to if you want to learn well. Do practice problems and ask questions and you'll get an A or B no sweat!!!

CHM 131 with Professor Menon will be as easy as you make it for yourself. The Exam questions are taken straight from the homework, so if you put in the time and effort to do the homework no reason you should not get an A. Also do yourself a favor and go to the lectures, you'll have to do some learning on your own but the lectures help tremendously.

Professor was great. I had two classes with her. She gives homework and study guides that helps us understand the material. Her tests are questions right from the study guide and homework. So if you do the homework and study guide, you will definitely pass the class.

The four week hybrid class I took with Menon was one of the hardest things I've ever done. If you want to take this class, be prepared for hours of studying, and by hours I mean 10+ hours per week. The class has a low success rate with passing, so I wouldn't recommend taking it as an easy A. Menon was a great teacher overall, a bit strict.

Her accent is not bad. Don't buy the textbook or lab notebook. I find that considering how I barely paid attention in class (thanks depression) I still managed to get a C, even with her being "confusing." I think Dr. Menon is a kind, smart professor. Meets twice a week, honors is 8am -11am.

she the best prof that I have for this semester. she actually explain everything in the notes. if you need she is welling to help. but the only thig she is very strict about talking and looking around during the test. she actually kicked a student out of here class for cheating.

She's very willing to help you out. Even if you don't understand the lectures do not hesitate at all to ask questions. She will help to make sure you understand the material.

Why would you take a full semester of chem when you can take Menon's 4 week hybrid course? Get the spiral notebook/"textbook" written by that one guy, all her exams come from those problems! Very straight forward grading criteria, and very respected in my opinion. Labs are also very fun, but lengthy. Lab quizzes ARE HARD, read through the lab 2x.

Dr. Menon is a very sweet lady! She always responds very fast and clears up any questions or concerns I have. I do not regret taking her! She gives great lectures and explains problems by relating them to the real world. However, she does calculate the grades a little weird so you're grade throughout the semester is not the grade you'll really get

Great professor! Most of your grade is based off of the exams but they are pretty easy if you look at the exam reviews (literally 95% of the questions come word for word from the review)

I took her during the Fall of 2019 in person. She was not a difficult teacher and she was very nice. She very helpful and will tell you what grades you need to get in order to get the grade you want. Her exams are a little hard but if you do the projects right you should be fine. However I did AP Chem in high school so the material was familiar.

One of the best chem professors

She is one of the most underrated professors I've ever had. She gives two quizzes in the discussion class (one practice and one quiz) you grade them in class. The tests are easy and she replaces the lowest test with the final, counting it twice. Just to let you know she also drops the lowest homework, practice quiz, quiz, and one of the labs.

Lecture days are a waste of time since you just do two quizzes instead of learning anything new. You also have to watch lecture videos before class. She's strict but not that bad. The lectures are okay as a learning material but the textbook that comes with the class is the best. It explains things so well and has lots of explanations/practice.

took her for chem 132 a 4-week summer hybrid class, it is a challenging course but the professor tries her best to help all the students the best she can. labs r mandatory and easy they just take some time. the only things she grades on are lab quizzes, lab reports, and exams + the final.

Professor Menon genuinely cares about her students and their success. She gives a weekly quiz but there is a practice quiz online that is EXACTLY like the quiz, sometimes she doesn't even change the numbers. 4 exams plus the final. The lowest exam is replaced with the final. 3 labs - drops the lowest. 100% would take again she made the class easy.

One of the best professors I've taken at Moraine she is so caring and wants you to do well. Just study and you'll do good

Professor Menon is a very helpful and supportive instructor. she encourages students to take responsibility for their own learning, which I really appreciated. As long as you study on your own and stay on top of the content, you'll do well in her class. She's approachable, professional, and truly wants her students to succeed.

Professor Menon is a great professor. Her class is very organized, the schedule is very clear, and she's a very caring and respectful professor. Her reviews are very similar to the tests so that's something that helped me a ton. As long as you stay on top of things and don't let yourself fall behind you will do just fine in her class.

She gives quizzes every week and the quizzes are the exact same as the exit slips very easy 10 points. She is not accessible outside of class at all though.
