I had a real problem understanding this teacher. She is knowledgable and does make lecture notes for you to copy in the library. I did not find her reviews to be pertinent to the tests at all and I found the tests to be really hard (think T/F with a language barrier). I worked super hard and managed an A, but I wouldn't take her again.

I have a great deal of respect for Dr Gurrala. After the first test I practically gave up (yes her test are extremely hard) I asked her for advice and she told me stick with it. I went to class everyday, and tried on the test. My grade was not too good but I still managed to pass with a C (even though my grade was way below failing)

I took her for my lab and she was good. I pretty much just went home and memorized everything myself for lab practicals and I did very well in her lab. She pretty much just goes through her notes packets and shows you where and what things are on/in the body. She's not super strict on spelling, which was a major plus because I heard others were.

Wonderful professor! Had her for both A&P I and A&P2. Very sweet lady. Be prepared to take online quizzes for every chapter and complete assignments in the McGraw Hill Connect portal (anywhere from 50-200 questions each). Four lecture exams and a final which is cumulative. She offers plenty of extra credit as well.

Anatomy is already a very difficult class. I have a hard time understanding what she was saying the entire semester and she only lectured with power points. Nothing else ever happened in that class. There werent many things on her power point that were on the test. Be prepared to do a lot of self-studying.

shes was an awful teacher because of her strong accent. Also, the tests were very difficult and has nothing to do with the powerpoint.

I took an anatomy class in high school to prepare for anatomy and physiology in college but she has a strong accent so some of the terms i was taught i didnt understand. She posts a lot of practice quizzes that REALLY help with the test. The best way to study for the test is to show up to her review sessions and make 100s on her practice quizzes.

Would not recommend her class to anyone that is just looking to skate by. If you are looking to get an A in her class, get ready to earn your A. Took her for Anatomy 2 during Summer and it was the most stressful class I have ever taken. Get ready to study the book, don't pay attention to the review as it doesn't help. Just READ the book.

Mrs. Gurrala is very caring and kind. She is willing to work with her students and help them if they visit her during office hours (I recommend making an appointment). I also thought she was very funny, she laughs easily and likes to joke around with her class.

I took Professor Gurrala for A&P 1&2 as well as for Nutrition. This is not an easy class, however, she will prepare you very well if you are going into the medical field. People complain about how hard she is, but if you plan on going into the medical field, you will miss how easy those A&P classes were. Shes very inspirational and motivational.

I took professor Gurrala online during the summer. She has very long lectures but you can watch them whenever you want. Her tests are pretty difficult but she gives you two chances to take them. If you pay attention during her lectures, do all the course work, and make sure to study for her exams, you should be able to get an A or B.

Took her as an online course, easy A. Most quiz and tests didn't require Lockdown Browser. Hard to study her material because it isn't exactly what we're tested on. However, any questions you may not know could be found on quizlet.

I took this professor and I honestly can say I as the students had to mainly teach myself. She rarely communicated with her students and how she wanted her work to be done until the END OF THE SEMESTER. Responded back in a un timely manner and was not helpful.
