The best MATH prof I've ever had!!!

definitely one of the best professors at NEU. If you can take a class with him, I HIGHLY recommend it, very clear and helpful, just overall an amazing teacher. Also extremely respectful and approachable.

Professor George is very clear and concise during his lectures. He also has great handwriting and explains the material in a way that is very comprehensible. His lectures were enjoyable to sit through purely because the content was taught very effectively. Quizzes every Thursday with only 2-3, very straightforward problems. 3 exams including final.

Prof. George is a great professor! I had him for Calculus 3, and he really knows how to explain the material well. He is kind, and he openly encourages you to attend his office hours, which I recommend. He gives weekly quizzes, but they aren't critical for your grade. The material is tough, so go to class and study, and you'll have a good semester.

Prasanth is literally one of the best math professors I've ever had and is basically Brown Jesus. During class, he explains concepts incredibly clearly, gives plenty of notes, works through example problems, and outlines what problems you're expected to know how to do on tests and quizzes. Show up, pay attention, and you'll do fine in Calc 2.

Prasanth is one of the best math teachers I have ever had, and my favorite professor I have had so far here at NEU. He is extremely clear, has great handwriting, and has the best subtle sense of humor. If you want to do well in his class, he makes it easy for you to do so. He is incredibly reasonable about grades. He is the best professor at NEU, and I would recommend him to anyone. I had a hard time in Calc 2 and was worried about taking Calc 3, however, he is extremely clear in his teaching. I understood everything perfectly, and for that reason, he is by far the best professor for this course, or any course he teaches.

Prasanth is the MAN! He's hilarious and snarky, and more importantly a fantastic calc teacher. He makes it very clear what you need to do and does lots of examples, as well as takes class input; quizzes are easy if you put in the work. He's really nice in office hours and makes it seem like he wants you to pass. One of the best calc profs!

He's so good at explaining concepts simply and clearly. His handwriting is fantastic and goes at a reasonable pace. He is very lenient and tests are quite easy if you pay attention and copy the notes.

You need to put in effort and should do the homework and show up to lecture if you want to be successful, but neither homework nor attendance is mandatory. He's a little soft-spoken, but listen to him if you can because he's actually hilarious. OG homie

Professor George was a great instructor. I had him for Calculus 2 last summer and I cannot stress how great he was hence I took Differential equations and linear algebra with him again. He goes through each problem very thoroughly, answers every student's question very thoroughly and cracks a joke every now and then.

Professor George has been by far the best teacher I have had at Northeastern. He is funny, a great lecturer, and you learn a lot. He makes it very clear what will be on quizzes and exams so there's never any surprises. I took his Diffeq and linear algebra class for engineering. Overall, good guy, good class, and its pretty easy to get an A.

Prasanth is super funny and an amazing lecturer. Diff Eq sounds like a daunting class at first but he makes it really easy to understand. You don't even really have to do the homework to pass, just pay attention in the lectures, especially when he does examples. Ample amounts of time for quizzes/tests, and the problems are very reasonable.

Has to be one of the clearest lecturers Ive had. Didnt look at the textbook once, only ever rewatched lecture at 2x speed and still absorbed everything. Prof. George lectures well, cares about his students, and is overall a pretty easy grader. Had him for Math 1341 online, and overall doing well in the class was about watching/paying attention to lectures and doing practice homework assignments. Quizzes are very easy, and your lowest quiz grade will be dropped.

Best math professor I have had at Northeastern. Have taken Calc 3, DiffEq and Fourier Series and PDEs with him. Teaches concepts clearly and makes it easy for you to get an A in a math class, while understanding it.

So far one of my favorite professors at Northeastern. I have him for calc 3. We have weekly quizzes but as long as you do what he tells you to do in order to prepare you will be fine. Hw textbook problems are not required to do well. Then he drops your lowest quiz grade. If you do well on the final he replaces the final grade with your lowest test

Amazing lecturer makes the material so easy to understand! If you go to class and pay attention to the lecture you will be fine. Doesn't go to fast or too slow, I have never fallen behind while taking notes. Practice problems that he works through on the board in class plus hw (optional) & ur good on the quizzes (weekly 15min) and tests (3 total).

Best decision I ever made was to take this class online. The quizzes are so easy, and the exams are easy as well. Gives great feedback. The provided supplemental videos will help answer any quiz question, and thus will help on the exams. Do not take any other calc 1 class, it doesn't get any easier than this.

Prasanth is such a homie and just wants to see his students winning. His notes are super organized and he's generous with partial credit on exams. He'll point out during class exactly which examples you'll expect to see on weekly quizzes and makes tests predictable. Records every lecture. Good man

His lectures are extremely clear and concise and his weekly quizzes are extremely manageable if you can do the examples in class. He is also generous with grading exams. He knows that you are being tested on differential equations and linear algebra and will take little to no points off for calculation errors or writing the wrong variables.

He goes a little fast in class and can be quiet, but he's reasonable, nice, & relatively easy to follow if you review your notes after class. I like that he did a recap of the last class at the start of each class. He is a fast grader and not intimidating once you get to know him and go to his office hours. Just do HW and IC probs you will be good

Professor George is an affable guy and jokes a lot. His explanations are very thorough and supported by a lot of in-class examples. The class is lecture heavy so try not to miss too much or get notes from someone else for each class. Homework is in the textbook but isn't graded so the textbook isn't necessary (but recommended).

Dr. George is the G.O.A.T. There's no other way to say it. I got a B in the class but I could've definitely gotten a solid A if I'd put more effort in outside of class. He breaks topics down very well and I would've really struggled to understand them with a different prof. There's a reason he has a 5/5 on here. If you can, take his class!

Prof. George is an amazing teacher. He provides a good number of examples, detailed explanations, and never acts like a question is dumb. He's very forgiving with grades (2 quizzes dropped, the final grade can count towards a test, homework isn't mandatory). Even though he doesn't take attendance, his lectures teach a lot so it is still good to go!

Prasanth is probably the best professor I've ever had. He managed to make a super hard course easy to actually understand. As long as you pay attention in class and don't skip lectures, the class should not be stressful. He is super responsive over email so you can also ask questions outside of OH.

Prasanth George was a great professor and even though the class was online, he was still super accessible by email and wouldn't hesitate to set up zoom office hours. There were 11 quizzes and a final exam. He dropped the grade for the lowest quiz. These were the only graded assignments. Be punctual with your work- he is not tolerant to late work.

He is a great professor who teaches the content very well. Even though lectures are optional, they are crucial for understanding what's going on since they are very dense. His worksheets are very helpful, and his in-class examples are helpful as well. If you study for the tests, they're exactly like the practice problems, so getting an A is easy.

His exams are also very fair and pretty much the exact same as the practice problems and worksheets he gives. This class helped me rediscover my passion for math, and I would highly suggest continuing with him in MATH 2341.

This professor is one of the best ones in the department for sure! His lectures are entertaining and he manages to make the content easy. Go to class and practice the examples done in the lectures for the quizzes. For the tests work on the example midterms, and go over the examples of the class as well. I would 100% take him again.

He is the best math professor by a mile. As long as you go to class, you will get an A. His lectures reflect exactly what will be on the test. He gives plenty of examples. Very relaxed guy. The quizzes are pretty light. The midterms and final are tougher than some other math classes because of MC questions, but they aren't professor specific.

Wonderful teacher! His lectures are very clear and the quizzes are directly based off of the videos and homework. If you do the work, you will do well in his class. He also held office hours fairly often which were also helpful. Overall, great teacher - hope to have him again.

Really good at math, just as good at teaching. I have struggled with math my whole life and was terrified to take Calculus 3, but he explains it so well and I feel very comfortable asking questions. He is just so happy to be there every day and teach calc at 8 am (how ????) and he explains all of the content incredibly well. Best professor in the school imo. Great lecturer and tests and quizzes represent what was learned in class. I was able to not do any of the homework and still end with a good grade. As ling as you pay attention in the lectures you will do great.

Def try to take him for diff eq., he's also great for calc 3. You don't need to buy the textbook - I never did the homework but it doesn't hurt if you want to.

George is great - he is THE math professor. He is super nice and an amazing lecturer, and extremely helpful. He is the only reason I passed this class. Make sure to attend his lectures and DO HIS HOMEWORK - it is so similar to the quizzes.

HE'S A GREAT TEACHER!!! Literally all the quiz stuff is what he teaches in class, attend the lectures and take notes and you are set. He makes dad jokes at times which makes the class more enjoyable, his lectures are simple and understandable. I've done absolutely none of the homework but i really didn't need to, his lectures are SO GOOD.

Teaches well, funny, grades REALLY fast (~a day), not knit-picky - won't deduct like a ton of marks for small error-carried-forward, wants you to succeed (posts a ton of past-paper questions). Also, I wanted to take his class in Spring too, and needed his pre-auth like within 1 day - he got back to me < 1 minute (&#129327;). Super responsive and helpful!

Fantastic professor! Clearly explains and reviews all topics in class, and provides a clear explanation for even the hardest topics. Quizzes and midterms are based off of in class material, and are very reasonable. Prepares you well for the final and future math courses!

I felt his tests were fair, though sometimes I wish he gave a bit more partial credit for stupid mistakes, but overall I really appreciated being in his class and felt like I learnt a lot. PLEASE take him because he is now one of my favorite professors of all time. I'm taking him again next semester. He allows a one sided 8.5x11" note sheet for both midterms and final.

Easily the best math instructor I've had. Clearly cares about students and their grades. Teaches clearly and with just the right amount of depth. Tests are a big part of your grade but they are fairly written. If you can take his class, you should. Liked him so much I am taking his Diff Eqs class.
