You will never find someone so nice. Every morning she comes in with a smile, chats a little and then starts class. Test are a breeze. Some of them are multiple choice but she gives partial credit on EVERYTHING (unless of course you completly miss ii)

she is my all time favorite teacher. She does have some rules about make up's, but you'll be able to drop a test anyway. She gives extra points for worksheets and reviews and is so funny .

She is the nicest teacher ever. She makes funny lil jokes throughout the class period. there are a possible 7 ex cred points for every test, all u have to do to get them is a worksheet! i made an A in the class. I definatley recomend her.

Excellent teacher! Simply the best...definately makes you feel comfortable and takes the time to help you any way she can. Homework IS assigned but more for the purpose of preparing you for the tests. Do the the homework, take good notes, ask good questions and you will earn your A.

Mrs. Wake is a good teacher. Just don't act dumb. She may treat you like you are dumb at times since you don't understand how to do the problem but she is willing to teach you how to do it. She has her ways and her tricks, don't miss class or you will be lost. Make friends and they can help you.

She is the most wonderful professor I have ever had. You can really tell she enjoys what she does. Her teaching style is extremely easy to understand and her class is not only helpful but by they way she teaches the material, it actually becomes really easy. My average in her class is a 98. You have to take this professor.

Wake is a very fun professor. I am not good in math I had to repeat math many times, but with her just do the reviews many times and it would appear in the test. I ended up with a B+. Oh attend every class too!

Such a sweet, patient lady. None of the homework assignments are graded, theyre only there for your benefit. She teaches everything crystal clear, and the reviews are JUST like the exams. I hated algebra from the beginning and still do but i passed her class easily.

Ms. Wake is an extremely easy and understanding teacher. Plus she knows her stuff and knows how to teach it so her students can understand (which some teachers are unable or dont want to do). If Ms. wake taught all Mathematics I would take her but unfornately she doesnt. But if you attend class, do review and worksheets. You will pass with a A or B

My 1st math class in years,i only went to high school for 1 year and i skipped most of the time.I made a 93 and 87 on my first 2 tests then found out that remedial class gpas doesnt count against your gpa when u transfer so i slacked off and made an C.Great teacher,do the reviews and you can get up to 7 extra credit pts each test.

Ms Wake is one of the best, no THE best re-medial teacher at SJC South. She is easy to understand and gives out bonus points. Make sure you show up to class and also do the reviews (which is identical to the tests). I never did my homework but i did go to the math lab to complete the reviews before the tests. I got an A. It's easy!

i droped out in 6 grade and then took this class in 8 weeks after bieng away from school for 6 years still got a B u dont need the book at all unless ur gonna use it to study but as long as you know the review u realy dont need it

I've taken Wake for 0305 and 0306. She's an awesome teacher who knows what she's doing. Attendance is mandatory due to the subject, and she's fine with cellphones. Although you do want to pay attention when she's talking. She'll let you know when you HAVE to be in a class, depending on what she's teaching that day. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. She's great.

The way she teaches, is perfect for people that think they might struggle, I passed w/ a 90 but I did do all the HW and the reviews. It helps b/c it's extra credit on the tests. Take her. I took this great teacher for two math courses. My only great issue with her is that she does not teach college algebra, so I could continue taking her class. She is easy going but teaches on a level that the student can actually understand information and pass the course. Her attitude towards students is amazing, you'd be lucky to take her class!

Mrs. Wake is the best! In high school I hated math with a passion and mrs wake made so much easier! She knows how to break it down step by step! We had about about 5 test and on all of them I made a 90 or 95. The class is super easy. If you fail then your just a slacker.

AIM in itself is not an easy class, but professor Wake and her never ending patience walks you through at your pace. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable with the material. Her detailed and colorful notes on blackboard makes it easy for you to study & do mathlab work. Her notes are better than a having a text book.

I've taken Wake three times now, once for 0305 and twice for 0306, not because she's a bad teacher but because I'm exceptionally lazy and don't much care for the subject of math. Overall, if you hate math, like I do, you're never going to enjoy a math class. But, at least with Wake, it's tolerable. Take her, she's a gem.

I learned more about algebra in 4 months of this class, than in 4 years in high school. She made sure to thoroughly explain every topic and gave one on one advice if you struggled with it.
