This teacher is such a great teacher. Whatever you do or have to read is talked about the whole next lecture. She is also funny and has a personality. I would recommend taking her class over any other English teacher.

Nice person and a natural teacher. Enthusiastic. Much of the class is a discussion of the various novels/stories you're assigned to read. Research paper is spread out over 2/3 of the semester and she is very helpful when it comes time to select a topic. Read each section as assigned, and no worries.

if you do all your work then you would like your outcome. a lot of paper to write but fairly easy. as long as you do your work you'll get a good grade. very good person and understanding teacher. i highly recommend her.

Oh my God!!! Priscilla Hansen, the best instuctor ever!!! I had engwr 101 and 300 with Priscilla, and guess what i fell in love with english. My lowest was 78%, and my writting skill has improved. I'm taking english 302 with her this semester, though it's late, i don't care, she's worth it!! She's the best.

a Great instructor, shows step-by-step how to write essays and describes well what content should be in each paragraph. Also adapts to the pace the class. For example, she delayed one of the due dates for one of the assigned essays, knowing that more than half of class were unable to complete on time.

Priscilla Hansen is the best English teacher I have had. You have to work for your grade, but she is extremely helpful and makes everything clear. I would take her for another class, but she is not teaching English 302. I highly recommened her. Just make sure you read the designated pages of the book she has you read when there is a quiz.

Shes a good teacher and very helpful if you get to know her. Her workload may see overwhelming, but she eases you through it.

She is nice, but not easy at all. Some of her books choices are interesting and really meaningful. Their is no use for textbooks in the class, only books (buy them on Ebay, only about $20). Dont ever be late an if so tell her, because she will sure hate you for that! lol

if you are in the Puente Program...is only good for you in you want to learn and go beyond your capacity....Puente is not to mess around...take ur work seriuosly...do things when they are due...i gurantee u pass with and A like me...just do things ontime and read...

hard grader, but you get what you deserve. she lets you know what she expects, there aren't any surprises. i liked her very much and got a B in the class. i wasn't a great writer so im guessing only beyond expectations will get an A!

If you want to stay up late and write essays that are going to come back to you with alot of small errors that you have to fix then take her. She grades very hard. But She is nice.

I liked Miss Hansen a lot. The things we talked about in class were very interesting. We also got to write some of our papers/essays on things that interest us. About 4 essays, 1 BIG research paper, and 2 books (we didn't read the whole thing).

Very nice teacher, but you better do all your assignments or else you'll be screwed in the end. I did every assignment except the ROUGH DRAFTS for the I-Search paper and went from an A to a D...somehow. So stay on top of your work - which is really just essays and light reading, and you'll probably get an A or B in this class

Loved Priscilla! I recommend her to everyone. She is so helpful and really makes English enjoyable. She loves her job and cares about students. I miss her class

Professor Hansen is such a great teacher! She is very encouraging and helpful. The class material isn't so bad either. She gives quizzes after each reading assignment the night before and they are easy! If she was teaching a english 302 class that fit my schedule, I'd definitely take her again!

you have to be there or else you will miss out on alot there was a quiz every other class and a little paper due. she is a really hard teacher but helpful and had really fun talks with the whole class.

She is very helpful and you can tell she is interested in what she is teaching and it comes across very easy. The work load is nothing too hard unless you do it last minute. She doesn't take role that much but the info she gives out during class is needed for the assignments she gives out.

I took Women in Literature. At first, Professor Hansen seemed intimidating, but I LOVED THE CLASS! Not easy to go through all those authors but she has a very easy going personality. Can't wait to take another class with Professor Hansen.

I absolutely love Hansen! I have taken three classes with her. ENGLT 310, 360, and ENGWR 300. She is so sweet, helpful, and gracious. Her essays are easy especially if you go to class b/c everything is discussed thoroughly. She is a very fair grader and will help out with anything, just ask. Lots of free class time to help with ENGWR 300 essays!

english LIT is not the most exciting class but, this class is not bad at all. just do the reading for quizzes, reading responses are usually one page , and you do one for every piece of work we read. Hanses is awesome , she is really willing to help you out , recommend taking her for english lit

She's a very easy-going professor. We focused on two different novels and then for the rest of the semester, we studied using the big textbook. Her 'lectures' mainly consist of small notes because we usually have class discussions and mainly work in groups. She's pretty lenient with her assignments and due dates.

I enjoyed coming to prof Hansen's class. Great and very interesting discussions. She is willing to help students. She's also a fair grader. Her essay topics are based on what you're interested in writing about. Read the book!!

Professor Hansen is a great professor. She is clear on what she wants and if you ever need help, make sure you go to her office hours. She is REALLY helpful. She grades very fair so you get what you earn. Attendance is mandatory so make sure you show up.

Professor Hansen is very kind and down to Earth. Makes class fun and interesting with class discussions. I took this class as a 6 week summer course and it was pretty easy! I loved the book we read, In Cold Blood, and we got to choose topics to write about for our essays. She gives feedback and that helps a lot when writing your essays. The course flew by & I thought it was great!Ms. Hansen's super chill and laid back. Easy A if you are into writing.

Took her quick paced summer class and got a B. Wrote 4 essays total usually 4-6 pages long. Must use her essay writing format or your grade will suffer. Final was easy. MUST READ IN COLD BLOOD book because her quizzes are very detailed. Tends to let students take over the class which was annoying. Lots of group work/discussions. Take her shes easy

A very cool professor to have. Took her over the summer and she gave us 4 essays to write in total which were interesting to write and not terrible at all. Pretty laid back but still teaches in a solid way. Had us also read a book that was very, very good/interesting. Defiantly recommend her to take for this class.

This professor is big on working in groups which makes it a lot more enjoyable. You will get in your groups and talk, and then after she gives a short lecture. The midterm was hard, so studying is a necessity. Make sure you read all of the works assigned. Good professor, but not so good about responding to emails.

Professor Hansen is amazing! She is so detailed and descriptive. the only way you wont pass is if you don't bother to raise your hand and get the help because she is always asking if you need help and she is willing to sit down and talk about your specific problem!

She's an okay teacher, her class was fun but she never responds to emails. You have to talk to her personally and even then she ignores your requests. I've emailed her a bunch over the semester and never got one single reply. Oh and sometimes her directions are confusing and unclear other wise she's a good teacher.

Hansen by far is a very helpful and great professor. You have a total of 4 essays, quizzes on In Cold Blood, and a mid term and final. I've seen a huge improvement in my work. The Toulmin she requires you to do are very helpful. If you need help just ask her. She will give you the break down into what your paper needs. Best professor by far.

I love Hansen. 4 papers, 2 exams, and lots of quizzes. Writing and English are my weakest subjects but Hansen was able to help me improve my stills. As the semester went on my papers were highly improving. Classes discussions were helpful and fun. Toulmins are a big help in writing papers. Ask for help. She gives great advises and feedbacks.

Professor Hansen has hands down been my favorite professor at CRC. She's down to earth and understanding; I've become a far better writer from taking her class. You will have to read quite often, however the assigned texts are short and the majority of them were very interesting! If you're willing to learn and want a great professor, take her :).

I took English 320 over the summer and was surprised on how easy the class was. The only book we read was "In Cold Blood" and had four essays all together. There were quizzes on the reading but nothing hard. She canceled class twice and it was a summer course. If you ask her for help she will actually help you.

She is by far one of the best LIT professors i've ever had. She is so much fun, and everything is very clear. She's open to questions and is willing to help always. She knows that some material will be difficult to read so she's more forgiving on quizzes and grades. She's also incredibly hilarious.

Awesome professor. There is a lot of in class group works and a few papers. Assignments are easy but time consuming. Class in enjoyable as long as everyone join the discussions. I have taken her EngLt 310 and I'm in EngWr 301. She can be a bit forgetful due to multiple classes, but as long as students help her keep on track, the class will go well. she'll work with you about due dates if you're stressed out. Really easy going. I'd love to take more of her classes.

I took her once in 2013 and now in 2017 and I have to say that she's still the same amazing professor. She's really kind and gives great feedback after reading writing assignments. I really like her a lot, despite the forgetfulness, which is a good thing because it gives more time to write or even start if you're a procrastinator. Nice professor3

I've had the pleasure to work with professor Hansen since ENGWR110 thanks to the Puente Project . She's an amazing person who cares about every single student. She sometimes forgets things and changes due dates due to the amounts of work and other classes she has. So just remind her and everything will be fine . Reading is a big key to her class.

Go to class because she changes deadlines and doesnt give a weekly syllabus/schedule. Laid back. Passionate. Easy grader. It literally doesnt matter if you have your book. You can look it up on your phone and read along. You may want to have one if youre a person who needs the visual hands on!

Always on time. Doesn't give too much constructive feedback. Almost no homework, most assignments are done in class in groups. Very kind, but I feel she doesn't give a ton of insight on the literature.

This class was the easiest class all semester. Most of the work is done in class w groups but she will go over the literature with you and make sure you understand the story no matter the time period. A little unorganized like prompts for papers weren't written online so you'd have to email the entire class if you were absent. Extra CREDIT EASY A!

One of the best English teachers I've had. She's very helpful and very considerate towards the students. She's funny too which makes the class a fun environment. Lot's of reading and group work so be prepared. Her essays aren't that hard. Do your work, turn in assignments and you should be good.

Professor Hansen was a great English professor! I took her in the summer and she was understanding and realistic with her expectations with it being an English summer class. We read a book, had pop quizzes involving the reading and a 3 papers to write. Professor Hansen gives great feedback on papers and wants to see you succeed.

Great Professor! Very caring and always offered help when needed. Wasn't very clear when it came to grading criteria when addressing the class as a whole, but if you ask her after class, she is more than happy to explain. Make sure to do your readings because the quizzes require in-depth answers for full points!

Took her online class. This class is essentially just analyzing poems and interpreting them. Every week, she gives a new poem to analyze. Ranges from 5-6 sentences of analyzing the lines to five paragraph essays. Honestly, the class is easy. Put thought into your paragraphs and you will pass. Easy grader and she gives really good feedback!

Very easy. Just show up with a smile and you'll pass. She is pretty unorganized and not great on canvas at all, but the work itself is so easy. You do write quite a bit but her expectations aren't super high. Create a personal relationship with her and you'll pass. She just likes to enjoy what she's reading.

She is a very sweet professor. If you ever have a problem with your grades and scores, she is willing to look at them with you and help you. She is often forgetful, but you can tell she means well. Assignments are lightly graded with good feedback and are returned to you at all times. Her class is very chill and I enjoyed it.

She is kind, caring, & gives amazing feedback. I love the stories & books she assigns and the class discussions of the analysis of the writing/reading materials. I was too shy and never got to say goodbye to her when I left CRC but she is who I will always think about or miss whenever I have to write essays because she was always so nice :P

One of the easiest classes and sweetest teachers you will ever have. Super understanding and caters to student's need. You literally just have to show up and try. Not difficult at all just a small assignment every class.

Very sweet and caring. She didn't have a syllabus so it was a little difficult to expect what her class outcome was going to be like. She's not an expert on Canvas so she doesn't put in grades immediately but there's a good chance that if you atleast did the assignment she'll give you full credit. Writing is mostly based of readings in class.

She's very very sweet. Take this class if you want an easy A. Most of your assignments are short paragraphs. She'll usually give 100s without even looking. Don't take her if you care about improving your writing skills. She's very forgetful and lacks class structure and proper instruction, so just be kind (she probably needs to retire soon).

An easy A class if you show up and do the minimal work. Professor Hansen is sweet but unorganized. Definitely use unstuck AI and the free textbook to prepare.
