Very Nice professor! I hate Algebra, and she was the first teacher that made me understand it and I actually made a B. She grades fairly so you have to work at it but she is very helpful in getting you to understand it!! Very good teacher if you find math hard! Pretty too!

She's the one to take for any math class. She is very fair and very clear. Not too much homework, but you need to do it to keep up with each new concept.

She is good, but gives a lot of homework on my math lab. There is 1300 problem you have to solve through the whole semester. Fair and good teaching, but not the best. If you want an "A" you really have to study hard and keep along with her.

Real Talk. This teacher is AMAZING. She does many examples that helps you pass her test (which is not that hard). She even has outside tutoring for her specific class. Her homework is online, which contains many problems ( really really easy problems), and she gives you like a 3 weeks to a month to do the homework. Highly recommend.

I never really enjoyed or understood math really well until I took Patel's class. I could not believe I made an A. She is very helpful and patient. Homework is online and gives plenty of time complete it.

Trig. She was great. Told us to take the book back on the first day to save $. A good math teacher can always explain things to everyone in the class w/out the book, this is who she is. Take her, you will not regret it. It's not that it's easy, she just explains it very well. Plus, she's kinda hott too!

I took online. Highly recommended. Everything is straight forward. She's helpful and has plenty of reviews where the test is practically spelled out for you. She also has extra credit, you can make well over 100% easily. Drops lowest grades. Side note: she's rated "Hot" and her name is Priti, coincidence? I think not.

great Math teacher. if you go to class you will be fine, if you go to class and do the h/w you will get an A. very helpful doesn't leave anyone behind. she doesn't just give you formulas, she shows you how and why they work. i would take her again.

The best thing about her is that she is clear about what is needed of you, and meets you half way. Great communication, both in and out of the classroom. I had no problem understanding the material. Took her college algebra class, and no textbook was needed.

She's a great professor. She's very clear on what she wants and there are no surprises on the tests. The only bad thing I would say is that tests are 90% of your grade. If you do the homework and pay attention though you shouldn't have any problems. Made an A :)

She is a very flexible and reasonable professor. If you need help, just ask. She does assign a lot of homework on Mathlab, but she gives a very good review for her tests and provides bonus points. I am sorry she does not teach Precal and Cal - she would be great!

She's a great teacher! I usually do really bad at math, but she actually helped me understand it well! I took this class for Maymester (11 day class). Had to spend extra time on homework which was due every day (since it was a 11 day class) BUT I still made an A!

I have never had a mathematics teacher teach so well. I find it very easy to understand the material. We do not use the book, however you must buy the MyMyathLab online course ($90). Responds to emails fast, very helpful in class. Makes sure you understand the material day of the test. I would be shocked if I don't make an A in the class.

She will work with you if you have any problems. She lets you know before hand whats going to be on quizzes and tests. The test reviews are exactly like the test, just different numbers.

This class was a computer based in school class(online access code required). The computer style of teaching is a little different. She was very helpful and if she saw you were struggling she made a great effort to address your problems. I enjoyed her teaching style. I would love to take 0350 w/ her, but she doesn't have any evening classes.

I'm pretty sure the other reviews got it right; she has notes that you can print out and my math lab isn'r really due until the day before the test. She's able to break down algebra into context even the most mathmatically challenged could comprehend. As long as you try you will get the A you deserve.

Ms. Patel. First of all. Super Pretty, Super Nice! She will give you everything you'll need related to the material to get an A on every test. She gives you every resource to succeed. Do all MyMathLab assignments. I struggled a bit in the beginning but did better after I gave myself more time to do assignments before deadline. Practice tests are longer than real tests. Make sure you can get through the practice tests and you will do well on tests. Good Luck!

Took Ms. Patel for Maymester. She knows her math. She is organized in having everything on Blackboard. She went over a lesson and then let us start on HW. She is helpful. She posted test reviews, which are longer. She reviews before each test, drops one test grade and quickly inputs grades. I highly recommend her.

One of the best professors I've had in a long time. I took her for maymester and understood everything in 11 days. After each lesson she taught, we worked on homework. Very helpful. Would highly recommend taking her.

Patel is THE BEST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD. She teaches everything step by step so that everyone is on the same page. Ask for help and she will give it. I started failing after being sick for a week and she unlocked all of my homework and let me take a test late, I pulled it up to a B. She truly cares and is by far the best math prof at TCC.

The class is easy. She will make you to understand the problem before she go to the next one. She grade tough sometimes . She give out the review for the test and they are exactly the same as the test but she just change the number. Do the review and your good to go.. She is very nice and helpful. Response to email and she always at her office .

I took Mrs. P. this spring semester and when I got to class I found out it was a once a week course. Immediately I thought I would fail! I'm really bad with numbers. Mrs. Patel gives really good lectures. I even got exempt from the final. She gives out sample work sheet packets so that the students can know exactly what to expect in each exam.

Ms Patel communicated clearly and she is easy to approach if you have a question. The course was challenging but she provided many examples to help my class succeed. Also, she seems to be fair and flexible when necessary. I recommend taking her.

I love Prof. Patel, i took her 0361, 0362 & college algebra, the last time i was in a math class was 28 years ago and i made all A's in her class. always ready to help, do your homework and test you will pass she us nursery rhymes to help us remember the quadratic formula, it will be nice to have instructors like Prof. Patel. She's a great professor. Everything is very straight forward. Homework and quizzes are all online, no reason to not get 100 on these. Her lectures are easy to follow and are all that's needed to get an A on all HWquizzestests. I never opened the book the entire class and got an A because her video's completely prepare you for the test.

WARNING! Don't take this class in the summer, online, if you're not good in math. You have to write-out the steps and answers. You have a couple of tests every week, daily homework, and an exam every few weeks. This class is very time consuming. We learn multiple lessons each week and applying all them to an exam every other week is hard.

I've always struggled with math but this class made it easier for me. Mrs. Patel will always ask if you need help and clear on demonstrating examples multiple times to make sure you understand the material. Homework is done on MyMathLab which will help bump up your grade if you do it. Will also drop lowest test grade at the end of semester.

This professor is great! If you struggle with math I highly recommend taking her course. She does several examples in class and really wants you to understand how to get the answers. I took Mrs. Patel for College Algebra and now just finished Business Calculus. She is THE BEST math teacher TCC can offer. She is very clear on what is expected on the tests, by giving a review before each test and will work the review as well the day before the exam. I HIGHLY recommend her any math course if you are looking for an A. You'll learn!

Her class is based on 6 tests and she gives reviews that are exactly like the test. She answers all questions and she is ever ready to help you if you are struggling. She is one of my absolute favorite. Make sure to participate in class or sit in the front so you can easily ask questions.

I took trigonometry online during a summer session. Videos are posted with lectures in them and it is up to us to watch them and do the homework. Unlimited tries on mymathlab to get an A on the homework and then 2 tries on each quiz. This class was an easy A for me.

Patel makes math much easier. This class is a bit slower paced because she will take everything step by step. This is so helpful for most people. Though a bit sassy, Mrs. Patel is a very nice and helpful lady. She truly cares about your success. I definitely recommend this class!

Patel is a great teacher if you aren't very fond of math. She goes slow in her lessons, constantly making sure the entire class is on the same page. She will ask if everyone is okay a lot, but I appreciated it always. Do the MathLab homework to set a stable base for your grade. Those will help on tests a lot.

My husband and I took Mrs. Patel's college algebra together. She is a phenomenal teacher, that cares about her student's. If you do what she says, take the time to study, you can and will do well. Attend class, feel free to set up study groups. We had a study group for test 1 and 2, after that the material was a little less complicated.

Patel is one of the best professors you can take for math. Whether you're good or bad at math she makes it very very easy. Final is cumulative BUT if you do all the homework you don't have to take the final which is awesome!

I took a blended class which is a little more challenging, having to learn most of it on your own,but she explains very well in the videos and she's in the math lab to help you with anything that you're not understanding. Professor Patel is awesome took the blended half online and met once a week on Fridays. Professor Patel was always willing to help and her encouragement helped. Took the online summer course. It being fast-paced was a bit difficult, but I knew what I signed up for. She posts lecture videos which are super beneficial. You have unlimited attempts on homework, quizzes, and practice tests. The actual tests you'll have to take with ProctorU. She also dropped the lowest exam grade. Great experience!

I absolutely love Mrs. Patel! Ive always struggled with math but she makes things so easy to understand. She never goes too fast and always makes sure everyone understands. MyMathLab was used for homework and practice tests that you have multiple tries at. She does test reviews and worksheets in class to make sure that you understand the material. If you even look lost in the slightest, she makes sure that you are okay and will make sure to answer any questions. I never had gotten an A in Math until I had her.

If you have the opportunity to take her you absolutely should. Don't miss class, but that should be said for ANY math class. Everything is explained to a good understanding. Go into the class wanting to learn. There is no extra credit. You must study to pass. But the teacher is going to keep you engaged and the class is fun. Practice test available

TAKE THIS CLASS! Professor Patel was so helpful. I am not very good at math and she did an amazing job explaining everything. She takes confusing concepts and puts them in very simple language. Her lecture videos (with printable handouts) are invaluable. Mark those up, re-watch the videos + keep up with the HW and you will be golden. No textbook.

If you listen and do all assignments timely, an A will be yours

I took the online Trigonometry class, it was 8 weeks and super fast paced. Very easy class if you do the homework. She always responds to emails and is always willing to help. I failed the first test horribly and still was able to get an A. So don't panic. She drops an exam which can be the final.

If you're not good at self-teaching I suggest finding another professor or attending in-person. Pretty solid class; she uses a proctor on the exams but the review is almost identical to the tests and you can take the review as many times as you want. There is a total of 5 tests and she drops the lowest.

She gives you hardcopy notes to prepare for tests and explains it perfectly on what to do to solve. She also drops the lowest test grades.

I was recommended by several students to take her. The class I took her for was 1332 Contemporary Math. She uses Math Lab for all homework, the homework can get real heavy if you don't do it weekly, unfortunately you have to do the work because it counts as your attendance. Really good teacher very clear as to what she wants.

She is so amazing! Definitely take her! The only difficulty of the class is just the factor that it is Trig. She makes everything so precise and clear! She makes this class as easy as possible. Still lots of work but she makes it as easy as possible!

Her lectures via video went into explaining the "why's" and when to apply some formulas very well. I purchased a used version of the book for backup; not required for online since the book is also on the software we used. Be sure to practice over and over on the Practice tests online, even after you get a 100. It helps you retain the formulas.

I took two of her classes Math 1314 and 2412. She is a really good professor. All of her tests are part of the unit and there are no traps. Her tests are really easy. She will drop one lowest test. Her class doesn't have extra credit but she will give you a chance to redo low-grade homework. Take her class if you want an A for math class.

I recommend everyone take her class. She is a good and super easy teacher. All her lesson not too difficult. You just need to pay attention to her lesson, you can get 100 in all test. Take her class you will have grade A. Assignment average 25 % , Test Average 75%( 7 tests, drop 1 lowest), no extra credit.

She gives you the entire calendar in the beginning of the course and shows clear due dates. You have notes that you print out and watch her lectures to fill out. After that you do the assigned homework on mymathlab and do quizzes for sections. Then you take a test on the material which is identical to the practice test. She also drops a test grade.

I took her for MATH 1332, and she was amazing, very caring about her students, and she is the type of person that puts their heart into work. And she will not make up the test because the actual test is just like the practice test. So she will go table by table to look at your answer, and if you make mistakes, she'd tell you right the way.

God she's amazing, she has a packet with questions and you'll go through it with her and that's like you're notes which is great and the homework and quiz are not proctor but your test will have to be taking in the Testing Center, also you can redo any assignment to an 80 if its late all assignments open till the last night of class

She teaches amazingly and theres really not much you can say that is negative, if you pay attention and ask questions when confused youll do fine just show up in time and study the topics in order to ensure that you get above an A. Homework is easy and theres videos that help you plus you can ask her any questions.

Professor Patel was amazing. I had something due every other day since I took it in the summer, but she is easy to get in touch with if you need any help and she also has office hours which is something MANY online professor dont bother having. She gives you multiple chances to get at least an 80 on hw. TAKE HER CLASS!!!!

Professor Patel takes her time to carefully explain her lectures. She cares for her students and her quizzes and tests are similar to the review. She responds to emails in a timely manner and you can meet with her online during her office hours. She is amazing and if you are a hard worker this class will be fairly easy.

I took her online class. I'm not good at math, but I passed. You can do it like me. Your job is to watch lectures, take notes, complete assignments, and accumulate knowledge and formulas. Try to get a high grade on the Chapter test then you don't have to get a high grade on the Final test. ESPECIALLY- ALL THE TESTS HAVE A LOCK BROWSER. (B);

For the first time I actually understood math! Ms. Patel was so caring and obviously wants you to succeed. I hate math but I did well in the class and I would take her again if needed!

Ms. Patel is easily one of my favorite professors from TCC. As long as you do work you are guaranteed a A. She tell you what you need to practice for if there was an exam. Workload wasn't too heavy. Math has also always beeb my worst subject but I she helped my actually like math. Wish I could take her for my second math.

I had Mrs.Patel this semester, her teaching is very fluent. By that i mean it's easy to comprehend. Mrs.Patels class aided me in understanding the fundamentals of algebra in a great perspective, and for that I feel very confident going into pre-cal next semester. Second math class taken with her. She is very thorough with explaining each of the different problems and gives extra practice questions. Is willing to further explain any questions you may have. As long as you watch the online lecture videos will have no problem passing. Drops the lowest test grade which is usually the comprehensive final.

Prof. Patel is great at teaching. She does not like to waste time, so be prepared to come to class with 100% attention to do well. Lots of practice problems from HW, Quizzes, and Practice Tests. Practice effectively and you will do well if you do not have to go back to your notes to do problems. Drops lowest Test grade. Tests are not timed.

You can only fail this class if you do not keep up with the work. She does participation grades so easy 100's are earned. She pulls you aside to discuss your grade and help bring it up. There is a lot of work but she drops your lowest grades at the end of the semester which helps your grade. Really enjoyed her class.

Professor Patel was so kind and actually helped me to understand math. In high school, i had flunked out of math and Mrs. Patel made me find a love in math. She explained problems in a way that actually made sense and I sustained an A throughout the duration of this class. I highly recommend taking this professors class.

Homework assignments are done on My Math Lab and take so long, at least an hour for each lesson on top of 30-60min lecture videos. There are 4 exams and they cover a ton of material (maybe 10-12 lessons) and are 75% of your grade. You can replace the lowest exam grade with the final comprehensive exam.

I'm not the best at math, but she made the material super easy to understand. My math lab quizzes are due at 11:59 on Sundays and have unlimited retakes before the due date. She provides a comprehensive packet with all the notes you'll need for the exams. Take her class if you can!

Professor Patel makes math easy to understand. Her classes are engaging, and she provides helpful resources like practice problems and online quizzes. I found unstuck study great for reviewing concepts. Overall, a challenging but rewarding class - definitely take it if you can!

Enjoyed taking this class. Her course is organized in Canvas with weekly recorded lectures and usually 2-3 Pearson assignments and a quiz all due Sunday. You have unlimited attempts at HW questions and quizzes. 4 exams+comprehensive final and a few discussions. If you need a pre-cal professor I recommend her.

25% hw 75% tests. will NOT round your grade or give extra credit, but drops 3 assignments and replaces lowest test with final. i barely made an A, but shes amazing and her vid notes are so easy to understand. 3-4 hw (1 per unit) and a quiz due each week. respondus is used for all unit tests, just watch the vids and do the review and youll be good.

Not an easy class but was very manageable. The test is 75% of your grade and the rest is homework. Class consist of my math labs, discussion board, and the tests. The tests are monitored on lockdown browser. She has notes that you can print and follow along with videos that are made. Every test she proves inspirational comments, rounds up if < .5

I LOVED Professor Priti. Assignments were 25%, and the Test was 75%. She made sure you understood each class session. I enjoyed learning from her, and I appreciated the handouts that allowed me to review the homework we worked on in class. This class is online and you have to be self disciplined to pass the class. Instruction is clear and concise. Math is not my strong side but this class was stress free but demanding. I would definitely take it again.

She's a smart prof, she knows her stuff. She does a good job explaining how to do things. Extended a couple deadlines during the semester. Not a ton of homework either. Take her online if you have good independent study skills.
