Take him! He's an amazing professor and makes the most out of every lecture. He always goes out of his way to make sure you completely understand the topics. He is also very quick at grading tests, replying to emails, and easy to talk to. You can tell he really enjoys the subject and takes pride in his job.

Go to class and you will do well on the test. Really fun lectures. He plays random viedos sometimes on fridays!

Basically, imagine Dane Cook teaching a PSYCH class. He was absolutely awesome. He has a passion for psychology and his teaching style shows it. He will use a lot of film clips to drive home his point and you will remember it so much better. He knows how memory works(He's a psychologist!) and it shows.

My favorite professor of all time. So passionate about what he does that it really is contagious. He is an amazing person & an amazing teacher. I highly recommend taking his classes. You learn a lot and it is highly enjoyable.

By far one of the greatest professors I've ever had! He makes learning easy and very fun and always has visual examples to help you learn the concepts. He also gives you partially filled out PowerPoint notes. His exams are a little harder but it's definitely possible to pass with an A. If you get the chance take him! You won't regret it!

Make sure you go to class to get the notes provided for his exams. Exams are a bit tricky, he makes sure you just don't understand the definitions but makes you know how to use them in real life examples. One of the best teachers I have ever had. Great Guy overall

Professor Chrobak is so passionate about teaching and makes everything interesting. The class is a little hard, but as long as you print out the study guide and write on it and complete it you will be fine. He also curves each test. After the test you go over the 5 questions that most people missed and he gives extra credit!

He is very helpful and very open to students. He can get a little awkward the first time you talk to him alone, but he warms up pretty fast. He let's you know if you're doing something wrong ASAP. Very nice.

Tests are really tough- the more time you have, the better the grade will be. With that said, if you have a life outside of school, stay far away!! He's a great lecturer although some things he says comes off as offensive. Pretty certain his reviews come from young girls who are swooned by his charming looks and confidence.

Keeps you interested, not boring

Best teacher I have ever encountered. Expects a lot from his students. Tests are not easy, but he lets you know where you stand. I have never been in a lecture hall of 200 students where it remained near max capacity the entire semester, regardless of the day. More professors need to emulate this man. You will not regret taking his class.

Psych 101 was the first class I took my freshman year. Now 3 years later I am approaching my graduation date and Dr. Chrobak is STILL by far the best professor I have had. I wish more teachers would take his approach when leading a lecture. Psych is a great subject but there is no doubt that students filled sage hall to listen to him speak.

Dr. Chrobak is a great professor. He puts a lot of effort into his lectures to keep students interested. He really sparked my interest in psych and now I have a minor in it. If you go to the lecture and take notes, you will pass. He wants to make sure everyone passes so he puts a lot of effort into helping you remember information, he's a cool guy.

I've taken Dr. Chrobak for three classes. The exams were nearly impossible, but he does a really good job of explaining any concepts that are unclear. He's very approachable and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the topics. If you're up for a challenge and interested in Psych, definitely take a Chrobak class!

Hardest C I have ever received. I went to all the study groups, and spent a week studying for the exam. Felt like I got an A on the test when I would get back a C. People who got A's thought they got a C. Very difficult exams, but the best lecturer I have ever had. Interesting classes. I got a C, but have an A's worth of knowledge.

Dr. Chrobak is one of the most well respected teachers at Oshkosh. He really knows his stuff & he always has his door open if you need help. I was in the hospital for over 2 weeks & he personally emailed me asking if I needed anything & he met with me once I was back to go over the notes I had missed.

If you can take Chrobak for psych orientation you should do it! This class was extremely helpful and he is a wonderful professor.

This class was freaking great. He gives you a study guide for every exam and it tells you exactly what you need. Gives you extra credit for answer questions in class. Attendance is optional but he says a lot of things in class that help make the exam make sense and includes some of the class lecture in class also. Would definitely take again

He's super funny and willing to help you study or write papers with you. He's super down to earth and has a passion for teaching and really cares about his students.

This guy's been through a lot, but he still shows up every class with a smile on his face. He shows short videos to demonstrate what he's talking about in his lectures and gives out chances for extra credit almost every lecture. He knows how to keep students' attention by adding funny parts into his slides. I would love to take him again!

He is a very energetic and respected professor. Just a heads up, his wife died in a tragic car accident and his mother has struggled with alcoholism. He will probably mention this in one of his lectures which does kill the fun uplifting mood he brings to every class. He also doesn't like electronics in class or sleeping. So come energized!

He really makes you think critically, which is a skill everyone should have. If you haven't taken a Chrobak class, you don't belong in the psych department.

Lots of quizzes based off readings/articles/lectures, however he tends to drop at least a score or two. He is one of the toughest professors, but it's worth it. He's a very funny, quirky dude and loves when people drop by office hours just to chat. The book is extremely helpful and dumbs down lectures which you may struggle to understand.

Best lectures of any teacher I've had. The class was purely graded on 4 tests + 1 make up/replacement test + psych research participation. There were extra credit assignments which were also fun participation. Getting an A in the class will be easy work with an hour of study each day up to the day of the class with proper flash cards and reading

Although it was a large class, Dr. Chrobak made sure to interact with students throughout lectures. You can earn extra credit just for speaking up or asking a question during class. He doesn't post notes online or anything, so attendance is pretty much mandatory, but his lectures are always interesting and engaging so it's not so bad anyways.

This is the 2nd class I've taken with Dr. Chrobak and it was just as great as the first. The content revolves around your success as a psych major, and he is very willing to give feedback and answer questions. You get to know him a bit better since it's not a pit lecture and is instead a class of about 25. Real goofy guy and super fun to be around.

Amazing Professor, he makes lectures fun and interesting. There are 4 tests and an optional cumulative final, they are hard but if you study well, they won't be bad. There is a textbook, which he will have questions based on in the exam, so I would get it. Loved this class and professor, definitely take it!

Dr. Chrobak was honestly an amazing professor. He always offered a lot of extra credit to help if you got a bad grade on a test. The tests were a bit difficult as the questions really try to make you think in depth of what we have learned but if you study and know everything off the study guide you will do great.

He is one of my favorite professors I took last year. He is very smart the only thing is he says "like" a lot, that annoyed me at first, but you get used to it. PRINT OFF THE SLIDES and take notes, go to class, and you'll pass his exams. Exams are difficult, but he's not trying to trick you, if you look back at your notes, you'll be fine!!

Dr. Chrobak is one of the best professors I have ever had. His lectures are very interesting and he explains things well. Offers many extra credit opportunities. I highly suggest studying a good amount. He makes class engaging and not boring.

Throughout my college career this is the best lecturer EVER. I have NEVER learned SO MUCH and only received a C in his class. One of my favorite professors at UWO...but you have to LOVE it and work for it...enjoy

Chrobak genuinely has to be the greatest professor at this school. His lectures are super engaging, he has a sense of humor unlike a lot of professors out there, he provides tons upon tons of extra credit opportunities, and reaching out to him outside of class is very easy. This man puts his heart and soul into what he does and I respect that.

Dr. Chrobak is by far my favorite professor on this campus. While cognitive psych is a very difficult concept, he makes it very easy to understand. His energy made me super excited to attend his classes despite being 9 ams. Don't be afraid to reach out to him, he's really chill and is always nice to talk to.

He's literally the goat. Makes extra credit so easy to get, keeps lectures entertaining, connects with the students, and all you have to do to get a good grade is pay attention and study for the tests.

Best professor ever! You will do very well with Dr. Chrobak if you just go to class and listen. His lectures are so entertaining. He will post everything you'll need to study for exams, and puts 8 textbook questions on each exam too. Just be aware that his questions can be confusing on exams, and you'll want to take your time with them.
