This class was soooo boring! She teaches this class for people who already have a good understanding of art history and art techniques; do not take if you don't. Off sched.- we had to push back an exam by 3 weeks. She then told us that we would have to work harder to make it up at the end (to cover her incompetence)! Very vague on exam material.

She has a good sense of humor and will acually make fun of some paintings. Takes attendance- not always, cool if you miss a few. Only 3 easy tests and short papers.EASY

This class was really fun and Rhonda is extremely helpful. She does not expect the students to know the anything about art beforehand. Professor Taube is really engaging. She keeps you interested in the history and it's easy to really enjoy learning. I loved her attitude and how open she is with sharing her knowledge about art, I also really admired her work in archaeology with art. She inspired me to keep pursuing my art major! I would definitely recommend her for all majors!

originally took a course with another professor but Professor Taube subbed the majority of the course. My description is based purely on the professor and not necessarily the class policy or style. Professor Taube is very energetic during lecture, easy to understand, and even funny at times with a odd sense of humor. Would def take another course.

BEST TEACHER EVER! If you want to learn about any era of art this teacher is the way to go. I hated art before I took this class . She is clearly in love with what she teaches and understands how to make student fall in love with it as well. She is very laid back and the most approachable teacher. Also take takes as she is saying the information.

Taube's online class is, at best, disorganized. Many broken links. Many typos. Zero feedback. On top of all of this, she has been MIA for a month! NO grades, NO email responses, and absolutely no feedback on the class discussion board where we are encouraged to post questions/comments. Too, she requires a $200+ text that is not used in the course.

Dr. Taube is a really nice and energetic professor! My class was silent so it was hard sometimes for her to keep us entertained but she still did somehow. As long as you take notes and study the paintings you will easily pass. She offers extra credit as well in the midterm and finals to help the students' grades. Great teacher overall!

I took Dr. Taube's Art Appreciation course for the spring semester and it was fairly easy. As many will say she does take a long time to grade assignments, but understand she is a very busy teacher. I had her for another course but in class and witnessed how many meetings, etc. she has to be in. Easy A class overall!

I took her Art Appreciation class online for the Spring Semester. Many of the links she posted in the lessons were broken, so it was harder to find certain information that matched what she was looking for. She "checked out" about half-way through the semester. Ended up not respond to anyone's emails or questions in the discussion board when needed

Had Art 6 online class and my experience was be prepared to read, write, and think a lot. Updates are on the class homepage and on the discussion board so you have to check both a lot. She doesn't answer any questions about homework or the class in email, so she won't respond unless it's personal. But if you ask on DB, she will. Overall easy, fun.

Professor Taube's class can be confusing. Sometimes it's not completely clear what is an assignment or what is required to be a discussion board post. I stopped posting on the discussion board half way through the semester because they weren't being graded and I felt like I was wasting my time. I rented the book off amazon and never opened it.

I've taken a lot of online classes and this is one of the best I've ever had! Professor always replied to emails and DB posts. There is weekely homework, but if you follow the directions, she grades pretty easy. I really enjoyed the lessons, especially at the end of the semester, as they made me think about art in a way i never had before.

Don't spend $200 on the book when you can get it online ebook version for just $15. Just google the name of the book anyways, and you will find it. Class was super easy. Took it over winter online. It will be even more easy if you take during a regular semester. I suggest u take online though! Such an easy A!

I took this class online and it was super easy. I bought the book for $15, didn't use it one time. She posts "notes" and you can read through those and you'll be fine. Do the homework and post on the DB's and you'll pass, she had extra credit i didn't do it and still got an A while doing all the hw and DB's like an hour before they were due.

Professor Taube is by far one of the best professors here at RCC! She cares about her students and also has a strong passion for Art History which makes the class very enjoyable. She is also hilarious! You do have a discussion once a week, so be prepared to read. Overall, the class was not hard, but it was fun! Take her if you have the chance!

Class should be renamed how to be a white hating liberal. If you agree with her extremely obvious political stance then this class will be wonderful for you. If you do not then it will be as horrible for you as it has been for me. But on the only upside it was an easy A, so whoo?

Incredibly easy class to pass. If you put a small amount of work forward youll get an A. My only issue is she have an assignment that forced her political/personal beliefs into us. She gave an example of cultural appreciation told us we have to write about how cultural appropriation is wrong.
