awful teacher! she grades papers really hard! she gives a bad grade for a really good paper! if you go to her and get advice, she won't really tell you how to improve your paper and she will say it is good then give you a really bad grade for it! GET OUT!
She grades hard! If it isn't her opinion then you don't get a good grade. She always talks about race all the time ( the topic is never dropped). She is very unclear about what she wants in each paper. Confusing!!!! Drop the class!!!
I like the class discussion. It's very interesting listening to what other people think.
Well, this class was quite interesting. Being a white person such as myself I never took the time to really think about race. This class opened my eyes to the light of real people and not just "blacks" or "whites". She helped me with m
she is pretty hard. always talks about race, every day and you never really get any where with the discusions.
terrible professor... don't take from her if at all possible!! does not grade fair at all!
All she wants to talk about is race. She doesn't care what your oppinions are, she is ALWAYS right. If your paper doesn't support her thoughts you are going to fail. Don't take her class if you want to see comp 1120 in your near future.
She does no grammar at all, talks about race a whole lot. She came in on the first day telling basically everyone they will get a C. A C is average and she sticks by that. Do not take her!
shes funny
Great teacher. I loved this class, and I hate english but she made it fun.
Fair grader, but opinionated.
smart lady. she tried to make class fun. really helpful.
Tough grader, but fair. She really tries to help you do well. You have to go to class and listen.
so far so good. She's really helpful in conference.
She is very opionated. The main topic she talks about is race. If you don't see things her way, you are wrong. She makes you feel dumb and she doesn't help at all with your papers. If you like teachers who don't help you and are ****, then take her.
A bleeding-heart liberal she is. If you are a hyphenated American (with the exception of all European-Americans) I recommend that you take this class. You will get along well with her basic principles: Less morals, more diversity, etc, etc.
If your paper isn't an exact cookie-cutter copy of what she thinks is a perfect paper(who knows what that is), the best you will get is a C. She also likes to force her views and ideas onto the students in her class and I don't like that at all.

NO!NO!NO! GET OUT OF THIS CLASS NOW! She is unfair, biased, a very hard grader, and mean to her students. This class sucks! I have always made stright A's in English and she gives C's! She will screw you over in an easy course. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!
This class was really interesting. I only took because it was required, but I actually like it. She lets us discuss and write about cool issues. Not your ordinary teacher.
she was always really helpful. at least she tried to be.
She is very unprofessional. She complains about us not understanding things when she is very vague in what she is asking for. She grades out of spite. She makes people look stupid in class. I'll make a B in the class. My problem is not her grading it's just that she doesn't want people to do well.
rabi'a is awesome...you will actually learn something if you participate. if you don't want to dig deep, take another professor though. your grade will reflect what you put into this class.
I wish I could say that I liked her but I dont. I am an open-minded Christian female, but I don't like people with issues and she has issues. Most of her class is about Islam or feminism. She also digs WAY too deep into the texts and takes all the fun out of reading and I always did good in English.

If I had a time machine I would go back and drop this class, and I made an A in the class. I have never had a teacher as unprofessional as Rabi'a Hakima. She has never apologized to anyone in her life and she blatantly harrasses her students. She is a poor reflection of what a teacher should be.
When you don't have anything nice to say, it's generally a good rule to not say anything about a person, but she doesn't qualify as a person. She's a wicked monster! If you ever walk into a classroom and see her up front, run and don't look back. Just run! I can make one nice comment however. I never have to see her again, and its a nice feeling.
Ms. Hakima was always really helpful and she genuinely wants students to do well. I think the people who have trouble with her are the ones who didn't do the reading and failed the quizzes because of that or the ones who didn't like her because she's not a white male Christian.
Her quizzes sucked balls, but she made the last ones really to bring our averages up. if you go to her office for help, you will do better than if you don't.
you will be the better person and writer for having taken her course. yes, she gets on students who don't do the reading, so do the reading! DUH. Also, going to office hours for help is a must. If nothing else, she'll know you're trying. Definitely, she's opinionated, but who isn't? she made it clear that you don't have to agree with her.
She was loads of fun. You have to do the reading, and she expcts you to find something to like about it. I got an A almost effortlessly. Definitely go to her office hours for help with papers
i don't get what those other people are saying. how is she the devil? if you do the reading and go to class and go see her about your papers before you turn them in, you will do well.
I liked this class. The presentations are difficult for people who don't like to get up in front of people, but she let us design our own final exam. I did a lot better than I thought I would. English sucks, but thi sclass was fun.

She make personal stabbs at her class. Do not take her class wearing your feeling on your shoulders cause she will shoot you down.

worst teacher at auburn. i cannot believe the university actually pays her to teach. she will shove her religion, which is muslim down your throat. she is a graduate student acting like a professor with a power trip. stay away from her.
Good teacher, but difficult and insults the class's ability regularly. Very intelligent, but an avid opponent of auburn culture. Reccomended if you are a female or racial minority.
SATAN incarnate, i hope she reads this and finds another profession. She needs to learn to teach the class and not her own stupid agenda (the next time she bashes soldiers with 3 soldiers present someone is going to go postal) She also needs to realize she is a waste of space ta and not the head of the department prof that she thinks she is
Ms. Hakima is an awesome teacher. You can tell she's really passionate abot teaching, so i hope she doesn't find another profession. it would be a great loss. She was always so helpful. She is not an easy A though. you do have to put forth effort.
I thought she was really good. She gave me alot of helpful information on how to improve my paper and usually if you take her advice you'll do pretty good. Sometimes she can seem to be a little harsh on people who dont agree with her but other than that she's ok.
DO NOT TAKE HER!! U can find someone better. Her tests are ridiculous and unreasonable. Remember, this class is a requirement, not your major... and even if it is, you can do better. Take her only if there is no one else available. The material she teaches is GREAT, and the class discussions are intriguing, but it's not worth the hit on your GPA.
Ms. Hakima is not an easy teacher, but she's a good one. Interesting choice of literature- not the typical boring classics. She expects you to read and speak up in class. Exams are not bad, but she's a little harsh on grading papers- you have to be a good writer to do well on them. You can probably find someone easier, but you do learn with her.

If you are in her class it's because you have to be.My sympathiesEven if you haven't opened your mouth to speak she already thinks that you are wrong so don’t bother. She’s condescending and disrespectful to her students and her grading is ridiculous. She doesnt grade on overall performance content or ideas she grades on petty minutia.Face it you’ll
DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! She teaches the class as if it were an honors course and expects honors level work, but most people just there to fulfill the university requirement. She grades papers harder than anyone, her tests are ridiculous, and she has a tendency to interject he own ideals/social view into the class room. avoid at all costs
The reading s were really interesting, and she was extremely helpful during office hours. Kind of a difficult grader but if you think about the reading and see her before you turn in essays for a grade, you will do well. You have to spend a lot of time on out of class work.
awesome teacher, not at all boring, you'll enjoy it. she does grade a little tough.
GET OUT NOW!!!!!drop this class as soon as you can.if you dont your screwed, sorry.she sucks as a teacher and like the "power" that teaching gives her.she teachers and grades at a graduate level and gets ticked off when you fight her opinon.
DONT TAKE THIS CLASS, DROP NOW!!!!save your GPA while you still can.
Do not take her!! She is very opinionated and will not agree with anything you say. Participation is part of your grade and she expects you to speak up all the time. Its not so easy to speak up in her class though bc she disagrees with everything you say and she is intimidating. She also grades hard. PICK ANOTHER TEACHER!!!
AWFUL! She's a horrible teacher who is incredibly UNhelpful when it comes to papers. She choses crappy literature (all of the same genre). She is MEAN, and a BAD teacher. Literature has always been my strongest class, but she has a very skewed way of grading! She's biased and prejudice and will pick you to death of you are weak. Stay away from her!
The literature was interesting. Ms. Hakima is very helpful on papers and examms. You have to keep up with the reading to do well. This is not a course you can coast your way through.
Not the same boring literature most people teach. Plus she's really helpful on papers and gave us the chance to revise and resubmit one essay before it was graded.
Great teacher.
Ms. Hakima is such a nice person. She may seem stern during class but go see her during office hours. If you want to do well in her class, finish your paper AHEAD of time and have her look over it and offer you some suggestions. It is also CRUCIAL to go to class and participate in the discussions to prove you have done the reading. Good Luck!!
She is harsh and likes to criticize. The assignments aren't always clear. I had to write a paper over 3 times bc of it. She expects her students to be overachievers. Do the reading or she will call you out. She is only helpful outside of class. I usually like English, but not this time! Wish I hadn't taken her, cant wait till the semester is over!
She will claim she is going to do something, such as send you an assignment, then never do it but still expects you to know what to do. I took an essay to her to proofread. She told me what to fix and I did exactly what she said, then made a 75 on the paper. Never in my life have I had a less helpful teacher.
she definitely uses the book...assignments arent always clear...class is somewhat boring...not super helpful in class...so ready for this semster to be over
Ms. Hamika is always helpful. Go to her for help on papers. She does expect you to do the reading and speak up. She seems to like it if she sees you taking notes. It's an easy class if you follow instructions and act like you care.
She is ridiculus. I went to her for help on a paper, she "told me what to improve" then STILL told me my writing was awkward and lacked structure.
She is at UAB now. RUN!!!I got an A thru outrageously hard work. She is very misleading & unclear about assignments. The final covered material that wasn't on the syllabus. She is unpredictable, and essays are graded cruelly(points deducted in 5 pt chunks too),but she is easier on minority students. She pushes her progressive politics.
She was really helpful on papers. the readings were much more interesting than I would have expected. Class discussions were interesting. She expects you to speak up. I won't say it was an easy A. You do have to keep up with the reading and talk in class or she will call on you.
She seemed to favor the students who gave her the answers she wanted to hear. She graded papers like we were English majors. If you don't write like a New York Times Best Selling author with absolutely perfect grammar and sentence structure, she'll pick at everything she can to bring your grade down. Avoid this teacher at all costs.
She keeps you engaged in the reading no matter how dry the subject is. Your grade is based on how well you interpret the literature, whether its in class participation, tests, or papers. It's not impossible to make an A just a lot of work.
Prof. Hakima was good. As long as you PARTICIPATE, do what she asks, PARTICIPATE, & really know the material you'll do fine. I came out with an A! She can be a little meticulous about grading but talk to her- she's willing to help and she may go back and re-analyze your work. She also give great study outlines. Not for the lazy!
i hate her class soooooo much. I used to speak up in lit classes in high school, but i don't now because she allows other students to talk over you...because she FAVORS them. she'll hardly ever accept your input as what she's looking for...she just wants you to give the answer she wants in the way she would say it.i wish i had a diff teacher!!!!!!!
Being in volved in this class does not and will not affect your grade in the slightest. Try as you might, you most likely won't get an A unless you completely work your butt off or if she just likes your writing style. I suggest just staying away and finding a better professor.
The worst! she wants you to say exactly what she is thinking! DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!
eh not too hot
She is unclear. You think the discussion in class about the stories are explained and then she completely grades differently from what she asks for. She is mostly a nice teacher though.
The discusions are pointless she never makes a point. Discussion is all the class consists of so its really difficult to get anything from it.
Every class is a 75 min discussion. Unfortunately she does not seem to respect anyone else's opinion. I currently have a B, but she seems to be inconsistent in her grading of the students. Her attendance policy is pretty strict, she only allows 2 unexcused absences. Overall, not terrible but take someone else if possible.
The discussions are interesting. She expects you to speak up and you will lose points if you have not done the reading. She is really helpful on papers.
This is the worst teacher I have EVER had.She is very inconsistant with her grading and contradicts herself during class discussion all the time. She tries to appear nice but when you go to her office she basically will tell any student how much she dislikes them. Whenever she's not in the room the ENTIRE class talks about her and not in a good way
Prety easy class if you read and go see her about papers. Most people I talked either got As or Bs. Her study guides are really in depth.
If you take the time to ask her questions, she will help you. Her study guides are pretty detailed. She does likepeople to talk and will call on you if you dont volunteer. Its an easy B.
This is the WORST professor available at any university. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF HER CLASSES. She is very unclear and soft spoken. Her classes come off as an easy class because it seems like there is not much work, when in the end its more work than she led on, but it's not enough to help pull up your grade if you fail an assignment.
Dr. Hakima is one of my favorites. I had her almost a year ago, and now from time to time ill hang out in her office just to talk to her. I got an A in her class and worked for it. She is not easy, but she is very fair. i give her two thumbs up!
From an English major, this class was disappointing. It was unclear what she wanted from us, so I found it difficult to prepare for her exams. The grading was VERY inconsistent. Discussions were often boring, awkward, and poorly led; she frequently let students talk over one other. An easy C, but you probably won't make an A; a B takes WORK!
Nice teacher. She gave me extra help on my papers and she gave a really good study guide.
she is hard, but will work with you. not easy, and kinda stressful classroom atmosphere, but it is possible to do well.
She is IMPOSSIBLE to write for. I've never made below a B on a paper, the first one she gave me a 65. She never told me why she counted off so much. DO NOT take her. The bad part is, I didn't even register for her, the University moved me.
I liked the class. The readings were interesting tho a bit overly complicated at times. Ms. Hakima is really helpful and is willing to work with students.
Ms. Hakima is a cool teacher. She is willing to help students and will proofread your paper ahead of time. She is the best English instructor I have ever taken.
She pretends to be nice BUT she is the hardest teacher I have had... She gave 9 out of 12 people a 75 on the paper... obviously there is something wrong with her "teaching" style. She picks out details in the literature that have NO significance to the historical importance. She is an aweful teacher.
It is not impossible to make an A. She make scare you at the beginning but dont worry. Attend all classes. Read the material. Class participation is needed but not overly stressed. Just say what you think. Essays are graded a little harsher than expected. However, exams and quizzes are graded with consideration. Inexpensive book is needed.
She gives good study guides and doesn't grade exams so hard. It is possible to make an A with only a reasonable amount of effort. Go to her for help on essays, especially if you are not a good writer.
It seems like a hard class at first but she is willing to work with students to help them get a good grade. Go to her for extra help outside of class for each essay. She seems genuinely concerned about studdents doing well.
She is a very tough teacher! Class was always stressful, because she can be very intimidating! Grades very hard. Her class isn't impossible to pass, but a lot of effort is required. She was not very helpful when I asked for help. She is really awkward and easily distracted, too. Don't take her unless you have to.
Professor Hakima is a great teacher who communicates well. Unlike some of the ridiculous reviews I've read on here, I'd say that she expects you to pay attention, attend, read, and do the work for YOUR benefit. Don't expect it to be a pushover class. She is helpful, clear, and focused but she also expects you to participate, which is good. 5 stars!
Highly educated professor, difficult, stressful, sylabuss is unbearable, Read all backlog comments, then withdraw
Interesting texts. The reading load isn't too heavy. The quizzes are sometimes difficult, but she grades them pretty leniently. The papers are probably the hardest part. Go see her for help.
Too smart; like a robot... I wouldn't recommend taking her unless you are prepared to give her exactly what she wants- there is no room for creativity here.
I took Hakima's class and it felt like I was fighting an uphill battle just for a B. She is a great professor, and once I left her class I was a better writer. However, you may be putting your GPA at stake! It is a LOT of work, and she wants it a certain way. Your first essay will likely be a C or D. If you don't learn from your mistakes, you fail!
Extremely rude and very unhelpful. Tried to email her about the due date of an assignment and got a nasty email back about a legitimate question. Also very unclear about paper grading structure. I usually enjoy EH/LIT classes but I dread this class. She'll use every single minute of class time to lecture and drag it on. Save your GPA.
Snoody attitude and bores me to tears every day.
Hakima gave me the impression all year that she doesn't give a flip about our class. Very smart and I'd love to have a conversation with her but we had super annoying essay, mandatory attendance, and thoroughly boring lectures. I'd aviod her if I were you...
don't bother asking any questions, about anything, she'll just tell you to read the syllabus. the worst teacher at uab; hands down!
She really cares about her students doing well in the course. The class was challenging but not impossible. I really learned a lot.
I took her class and she helped me with my paper when ever I had questions.
Hakima is very knowledgeable and expects the best of her students. this has been a very enlightening experience. I'm glad I took this class because it has made me use my mind and broadened my views of the world.
This professor is a OK. She is a wonderful teacher and offers a lot helpful insight on papers. Her essay grading style is difficult and her class is very challenging, but it requires a lot of work to get an A in the class.I dont recommend this teaacher if you are looking for an easy A or if you are a poor writer. She does her job and challenges YOU!
I am NOT an English major, do NOT take this class if you are not. Essay grading is ridiculous.
I had a good time in this class. We talked about a lot of interesting issues. I learned a lot about writing papers. She was extremely helpful.
Do not take this professor. She does not explain things clearly but makes faces that put down the students when questions are asked. She does not do a good job of keeping the influence of her personal biases out of her discussion of literature, even though this is expected of her students. Participation grading is not based on merit.
Dr. Hakima was very helpful and friendly. She looked at all our drafts and gave individual comments. The final essay was fun to write.
Dr Hakima was very helpful and clear. She gave examples of what she wanted on papers and exams. The midterm was part take home. Most of the literature we read was interesting. It was easy to make an A.
She does expect you to put a lot of effort and thought into your writing which is difficult if you have other demanding classes. But I went to see her for extra help and she was helpful. Class was sometimes more interesting than I expected a English to be.
We read a lot of stuff that was new to me and you wouldnt normally see in a literature class. She spent time talking about how to write about literature and gave us examples and looked at each of our drafts. You don't even have to read evry single thing. If you don't make an A, you're just not trying.
Class was abit stressful because she expects you to participate and will call on you if you dont, but she was extremely helpful on papers and the exams were manageable. She gave bonus ponts.
Awesome teacher. Nice person. Easy but not too easy. Would take her again.
Difficult, stressful assignments
the essays were pretty simple. analyze this. compare that. but she expects you to put a lot of thought into them and "go beyond the obvious". she might expect her students to be smarter at english tha they actually are. go see her for her feedback and you should do alright.
The class was good. the reading assignments were short and many of the texts were interesting.
The paper assignments were challenging but I went to see her with my draft and she tld me exactly what to fix. I did what she said and I made an A. The exams were pretty easy and she gave bonus points.
Decent class and teacher.
She was really nice and helpful. She's not the typical boring English teacher.
I made an B easy. I would have had to work slightly hard to make an A, but I just didn't have the time. She was super helpful. I would take her class again. She really makes you think. this is not a cookie cutter English class
She is super nice and helpful and detail-oriented.She will walk you through the process of revising your paper and make you take notes so you will have to remember what she says. I learned a lot and her grading was pretty fair and easy.
had her about a year ago. She was good. wish I had taken her for 102 as well but her class ddidnt fit my schedule
Essay grading scale is difficult. Grades on a higher level than the average teeacher, and if you are a freshman coming in you will find it very challenging. The Writing Center and tutoring will be your best friend when it comes to writing her papers. But her "pop quizes" are fairly easy and clear.
Before this class I loved writing. However...I visited her 3 times for help with a paper, and despite me asking how to fix my errors she only repeated how I was wrong. When she did help me with key points of the essay, she ended up counting off my final essay because I "regurgitated our discussion."
If you are an English major then I would say take her. Probably shouldnt then either. Her essay grading is ridiculously hard! She does NOT explain things clearly. If you go to her for one-on-one help then she'll just ask you a series of questions. she should not teach EH 101. I do not recommend her at all!!!!!!!!!!!
I am going to be a high school English teacher and currently have Dr. Hakima. She is very helpful and is always willing to help students who help themselves. Don't go into this class expecting an easy A...you really do earn your grade in her class. I will be taking her again if I get the chance!
She is extremely nit picky. She expects that you are an English major and treats you that way. Paper topics are difficult to understand. She grades very hard. This class is ridiculous. Don't take her unless you have no other choice!
Very kind and helpful. Interesting character.
She was very helpful. She let us revise the first assignment for a higher grade. She gives clear criteria on grading assignments. Shhe gives comments on our essays before we turn them in to be graded.Th class is challenge and she does expect you to think a lot.
She gives a lot of extra help with papers. Bonus points on the exam were helpful. The readings are mostly inetesting. This is not your typical Western Lit class. We really get around the world.
She is a very kind person whoo cares about her studenmts. If you actually do assignments (mainly reading). Actually revise papers, basically simple things that she says. Then it's really easy to get an A. People that don't get A's in her classes are just lazy.
I was really interested in literature before taking her class. She made me dread writing papers which I previously enjoyed because she is not open to ways of writing other than her own. The tests were fairly easy if you read all the material and participated. I would not recommend taking her class unless you don't mind a condescending instructor.
The texts were somewhat interesting. She gave detailed feedback on papers and told me exactly what to change to make an A. The tests were super easy if you had read. She doesn't give daily or weekly quizzes so you can not read some days and get caught up later.
She was not very helpful. She gave feedback but it never helped. She would contradict herself a lot. If your are looking for an easy class, do not take this one.
Do Not Take Her. She Is Extremely Hard and Confusing. She Wants Things Done Her Way. It's Absolutely No Reason A 101 Class Was This Hard. Avoid.
Her paper assignments wer challenging, but she is willing to look at drafts. I was in her office every week when papers were cming due and I got an A. I think she appreciates the effort. Also go to the writing center. she likes that.
Dr. Hakima is super smart and a really interesting person. She is not from the South and does not embrace all aspects of Southern culture which can kind of rub people the wrong way. But she is a good teacher. Her classes (I've taken her twice) are challenging but easy to pass with an A if you do the work.
Great teacher!
Dr Hakima is like a breath of fresh air. She teaches so many different perspectives of the subject and really makes you open your mind. Very interesting class.
Great class, if you pay attention and do not fall prey to idol conversations. Too many students go on the defensive too quickly. Being open minded is crucial to learning.
I take pride in my tenacity and seriousness about my grades. Even as a devoted student, who didn't receive a terrible grade, I still am revolted by her teaching style. She lacks all respect for her students and genuinely does not care about their futures. I would not take her unless you enjoy being talked down to and feeling inadequate.
Her quizzes are easy and are just to make sure that we've read. Her essay assignments were interesting. I especially liked the one where we got to write about a film.
Dr. Hakima was really nice all semester and helped me immensely. She is a tough grader but she will look at your essays before you turn them in for a grade and she will discuss your graded essays with you to help you improve on the next one. She is really interesting and smart.
One of the best professors at UAB, cares for her students, helpful and sincere. A lot of reading but you should do just fine as long as u read.
Good teacher. Course was interesting wth a reasonable reading and writing work load. Requires some public speaking which is a little daunting, but Dr, Hakima is really encouraging.
One of the worst professors at UAB (and I'm an English major). Rude to students, not helpful with papers, very picky, and speaks badly about students' opinions. The texts are very boring. Avoid her at all costs!
Dr. Hakima is really nice and helpful. She cares about her students learning a lot so she doesn't give out A's like candy, which means you have to work for your grade, but its worth it. I learned a lot and am so much better off now than I was.
Hakima is pretty good. I got an A but I had to work at it and go see her several times to look at my papers. My 102 class was a lot easier because of what I learned in her class. She makes you think instead of just writing cookie-cutter essays.
We read some interesting texts and not just the usual boring stuff you would expect in a world lit class. Ms. Hakima is has a lot of cool ideas and is different than a lot of other professors. She is super smart and expects a lot from her students on papers and class participation. If you don't speak up on your own, she will call on you?
Dr. Hakima is a inconsistant, contradicting, severely derogatory professor. Her advice on papers is completely useless. She requires class participation and makes you feel like a moron in front of everyone when you don't have her answer, which is 95% of the time. She's incredibly rude. Unapproachable. do not take her.
Hakima is not your cookie cutter teacher and this is not your cookie cutter English class. She covers a lot of controversial topics and really makes you think. I am thinking about being an English major because of her.
Doctor Hakima is a great teacher. She is incredibly smart and knows what she's talking about. The class discussions were always interesting and entertaining. She is really helpful on papers and will look at as any drafts as you give her. She even helped me narrow down a topic when I was having trouble. You have to work to make an A but its doable.
Do not take this class! She is really mean and the worst teacher I have ever had. Not only does she grade super hard but also makes rude comments in class and will sometimes embarrass you.
Hakima is strict and seems to care more about her own opinions than literature and writing. Definitely not a memorable teacher because of her bad attitude. Also, she loves to embarass students for no reason.
Dr. Hakima was a one of the best English professors I have had. She is tough, but she gives a lot of details on her assignment sheets, and the textbook she uses has a format for each paper. Class discussions were really interesting, and she was really nice and helpful.
Great class. Great teacher.
Super awesome. Loved this class. She was tons of fun and knew her stuff!
She's a great teacher if you want to learn and get better. As an engineering major I'm just trying to get through the class with an A, and she didn't make it easy at all. She's a real tough grader.
I took her course at Elgin Community College. Dr. Hakima is a very intelligent, witty woman. Her class was very different than others I've took, which is a good thing actually. She is always there to help you with your papers. I don't necessarily think she is a tough grader. She has tough criteria for her papers and makes you follow it!
I took her class at Elgin and she is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. She is incredibly rude to her students and makes you feel dumb for disagreeing with her opinions. She tries to push her opinions on everyone and if you disagree you're just wrong in her eyes. I highly suggest not taking her class. Not a hard class just couldn't stand her
She is not helpful when I have asked her questions. She likes calling out students and embarrassing them. Not organized
