Great professor!

She was always willing to help. The best part about the class is that if you never miss a day you don't have to take the final exam, it's an automatic A!

I enjoyed Prof. Davis's class she is a very easy going teacher and never seems to let anything or anyone un-nerve her. I wish al of my classes could be like this one. Very low key and laid back.

I thought she was very sexy so i might be bias;) but overall we did ALOT of writing but she was always fair and very helpfull. you should take her class above any other english class.

Professor Davis is very helpful & knowledgable. I have never particularly enjoyed the art of writing, but Professor Davis made it tolerable. Easy essay, no tests, & if you don't miss any classes, you do not have to take the final. I would take Professor Davis again.

Professor Davis is an easy going lady. If you do not miss a class you do not have to take the final. we had 3 papers to write not including the in class paper. We had journal entrys which included reading the book and write an opinion. Midterm was really easy.

Miss Davis is a great professor she will do anything to help you understanding. I was lost before I toke her class.

She is a great teacher.She puts things in the most simplest form for you.She expects participation in class. She is a great teacher. She grades in letters not numbers ( usually ) If you do the homework weather its right or not you pass. She only wants effort from the class so if you do the work, participate in class discussions, and pass the essays you're good. I absolutely love her as a teacher.

I think she is a very good teacher. I enjoyed her classes a lot. You have to write multiple essays, but you get to chose the topic. Overall, I recommend her.

This Class was EXTREMELY easy. Professor is really nice, and willing to help with anything you need. No Final Exam if you don't miss a day. I took her for ENC1101 AND ENC 1102. Papers were easy, most are chosen by you.

Been out of School since '84 and would recommend her to anyone. Very good at telling you what you did right and wrong without making you feel stupid. Loved her class and she is a fun teacher.

Prof. Davis was great! She definitely is easy as long as u attend her classes. U only have 4 essays to write and most of the context that she really grades is grammar! If u are a good writer,the class is an easy A! I'm in dual enrollment and I got an A!(:

She's an Ok professor. She's helpful. She wants every students to pass, so if u need help about the class just ask her and she'll help you.

She is a amaxing teacher I love her and I wish she was teaching all the ENC classes that I need.

Amazing teacher. She will work with you to help establish a good base for papers and other work. She promptly responds to any questions and concerns, and I would suggest her in a heartbeat.

Good professor. Easy A. I took the 8 week course so it was faced paced. Had an essay due each week through email. We only had about 4 essays. The midterm was super easy and we did not have a final exam, just a final in class essay. She doesn't have blackboard, so you won't find out your grade until the end of the course. Overall super easy class.

I liked Mrs.Davis attendance is important but she is very clear on her learning and how she teaches

I really enjoy Professor Davis; I am someone who can write but find it hard at times. She was very helpful and I really enjoyed the class. And if you attend every class you don't have to take the final. I would defiently take her again.

does a lot of research papers (argumentative papers) but relatively easy class. Just show up and do what she tells you. Gives a lot of time to do essays.

Great Professor. She wants all of her students to succeed. She is meticulous about the writing style she expects. However, it is only because she wants everyone to learn how to write an essay properly. Everyone will write about the This I Believe essays in the book, do some in class writing, write about three 4-7 page essays and, take a midterm.

Fairly easy English course. Took the night class she had and was fairly glad I did. Only problem was that she was very monotone when she spoke, but was helpful if I had questions. In class essays(3-4), and a few papers (2-3)

I thought she was a great teacher, a lil boring, but a good teacher. She enjoys non-fiction essays, which i hate, but i learned a lot.

Really easy class. I'll be honest, there was ALOT of writing in this class. Had 3 essays and a few in class writes. Had to present the last essay but that was nothing, just a little powerpoint. She explains everything she wants and she had no problems helping you if you get stuck on an essay and she didnt give boring lectures. I recommend her 100%

Really enjoyed this class. She expects people to be on time and present at every class and she expects college level papers-however-she is crystal clear in giving directions and will help you if you get stuck. I got an A with her in 1101 and 1102. Interesting lectures, insightful teacher-I loved her!

Easy class, just be prepared to write, write, WRITE. A lot of writing. But, classes are a lot of times cut short. Very professional. Take her class for ENC1101.

She can be very annoying but overall a good teacher. She can be clear on her words but can be very attentive and very slow on words.

Go to class everyday. At the end of the semester if you have perfect attendance no matter what your grade you get a 100 on the final. There are 3 papers and as long as you do what she says you will get a good grade. Decently easy grader. The papers are 50% of your grade. Put in the effort. Good teacher though! There is only one book and its cheap.

I accidentally took this course in the C session and it was such a breeze. There are a total of 3 papers, each of which you have 3 drafts for, so your final draft will be an A. Davis makes the class easy. She explains what she wants in your work clearly and entirely. Plus, if you don't miss a class, you get a 100 on your final.

I think she is a great professor. It is obvious that she plans for her lectures prior to class. In taking an early class, she is always on time, well dressed, and professional. Her notes are clear as well as her examples. She provides availability to answer any questions should there be any confusion. Plus, she is nice to listen to.

She is a good professor, if you take notes and come to class everyday and write the papers in the way she wants them, then you will pass. If you don't miss a day then you don't have to take the final. Good professor over all. I would recommend her for English.

Good professor in my opinion. Writing due every week but there lst draft, 2nd draft, etc.. She is clear on what she wants. Come to class everyday and your exempt from the final, which is great! I do recommend her.

preety good teacher. doesnt give much work and its not hard. she is a little boring though and will put you sleep if your not paying attention. if you dont miss a class you dont have to take the final which was awesome. id recommend her.

very good teacher! very polite and professional. took the 6 week class and it was fast paced but easy material. Read "Picking Cotton" and had in class quizzes on it and did 3 essays (longest was 5 pages) and if you showed up for every class, you don't have a final exam. overall she was an excellent teacher and i would recommend her!! :]

Davis is a great professor! Gives great notes and examples. Guaranteed pass if maintain the essays and drafts turned in on time. Took the 6 week class, had 3 essays, passed with an A.

Professor Davis is a really easy going Professor. If you show up and do the little bit of work she gives than you will have no problem. We had four essays but we could turn them in over and over again for her to grade and help you get a better grade on it she marks a lot but she doesn't mark off for individual things.

I took this class over the summer you're not there for all the class unless she is going over papers with the class but once she done talking to you about your paper and there is nothing else to do you can leave. She is very nice and very helpful.

I took the online course (my first one) & it was way easier than I had anticipated! Professor Davis is organized, clear in what she expects from you in all areas of the course, & the work load isn't unbearable by any means. Don't get me wrong, though, it isn't light. Lot's of papers! But the topics are simple. I really learned a lot in this class.

This class was really easy, I took the online 8 week class and you had three or four assignments to complete by 11:59 by sunday and thats it. I would usually finish all the assignments Monday and I would be done until the next Monday. SUPER EASY. passed with an A. Took 8-week online class and it was fairly easy. About 1 DB and an essay (500+) a week. Grades easily. You don't need to be a terrific writer to take this class. Some students wrote like middle schoolers &they passed. She responds on how to improve on each essay. Didn't really use the textbook at all only to use the MLA format which you can google.

Prof. Davis is a great professor. I feel as if she genuinely cares about whether you learned something and not just grading papers. She critiques every little thing in your papers but, to me, that's a good thing because I can improve upon it. Easy A if you listen to her and use her feedback. Would take again.

If you love to write, you'll love this class. If you don't, you won't. I loved this class and really enjoyed the feedback provided on each writing. Papers are anywhere from 600-1200 words each and there's one proctored, timed writing test. I would take this Prof Davis' classes again. There's no textbook and very light grammar tests.

Very good and clear. Always updates and gIves you enough time to work.

Clear in what she wants out of essays. 3 papers w/ plenty of planning & feedback b4 its due date so Its impossible to turn in a bad paper. Learned a lot of how to write concise & effective papers. Participation matters! Come to class so you don't have to take the final to make up for having a bad participation grade. Always open to answer questions

3 papers throughout the semester. Explains what she wants and will help you when you need it. Very helpful. Work load isn't much just stay on top of the syllabus.

Took Professor Davis's class online, there are 5 final draft essays worth 100 points , 4 paragraphs worth 10 points, discussion boards with peer review of your rough drafts worth 30 points, one face to face essay worth 50 points, she is very quick to respond to emails and grading is clear. This class was pretty easy, Would take her again.

This is the toughest teacher I have ever had in my life. I actually needed a kick in the pants. This teacher made me work hard, for every assignment. She pushed me, and I pushed myself. Sometimes when someone pushes you hard it means they really care that you succeed. I enjoyed this class.

There are only 3 papers. One book to read with 4 quizzes. Great professor.

Professor Davis was an amazing English professor and gives lots of feedback on the writing you do. The workload seems like the perfect amount, nothing is too overwhelming, but you also are still learning and actively working on things.

I took this class online and it was pretty easy. As someone who hates english this class wasn't that bad. We wrote a 500 word essay every other week and wrote a paragraph the other weeks. There was a 10 question grammar quiz every so often and that was it. I liked that you chose what you wrote about. she doesn't assign a topic. But a slow grader.

You'll write a lot of papers, but when she says they're due, she'll proof read them and give you an additional week to adjust them as needed until she takes them in for a grade. She's really understanding and she doesn't typically make classes last the full length. If you have questions make sure you ask, she isn't judgemental or rude!

She did very well on working with any personal / professional issues. She graded every paper in front us so that we could find out what we did wrong, and she told us how to fix it. The material was amazing and beneficial to everyday life. I thoroughly enjoyed this class.

We only had a few papers and she explained them all very thoroughly. She gives amazing feedback on exactly what to fix on rough drafts. She's great at answering questions and makes class enjoyable. Basically, if you show up to class theres no way you can fail.

Total of 4 essays for this class. First paragraph, rough draft and peer reviews, and final draft was the format of the assignments. Easy A if you do the work and follow her directions that she posts in Assignments.

Professor Davis was a great professor. She was understanding, open-minded, and the class was fairly easy. Definitely attend every class because you wont have to take the final if you do.

Professor Davis is an excellent professor and an asset to FSCJ. Everything that is expected of us, as students, is clearly laid out at the beginning of the semester. Be prepared to write a few papers - they are broken up into first and second drafts; she gives great feedback for revision before submitting your final paper. Take her course!!

She really does care if you pass or not. She tends to have a bunch of little assignments that are really one big assignment. Say you're writing a paper, she may have an assignment just as your intro paragraph. Her only downside is how she likes her citations. you will always need one paraphrased and one quote. Amazing teacher all in all!

I really like and respect Professor Davis as she is genuine, cares about her students, and if you come to all of your required classes, you don't have to take a final exam. She makes learning fun, and teaches you how to reach inside yourself to find the words to put down on paper. She doesn't just teach English, she teaches you to love writing.

Professor Davis was amazing! She is so sweet and caring about her students. For my class, we had 3 main essays that were spread out over the semester. No final as long as you attended every class. Her feedback is amazing and is always willing to work with you if you do not understand the material. Do the work and you will pass without a doubt!

fantastic professor I took her in ENC 1101 retook her for ENC 1102 mandatory attendance no final with perfect attendance midterm was extremely easy excellent detailed feedback 5 points extra credit to find a grammatical error on something professionally published very caring easygoing class Shoot out of words describing how great she was! Took time out during class to answer any questions you might have. However, she was very unresponsive when it came to outside of class communication. She rarely emailed back. Despite that I would take any of her classes again because she was a good professor. Strict grader, must participate, have perfect attendance and B or higher to skip final

I took Composition 1 with Professor Davis and she was amazing! She gives great feedback on papers and really helps you out when writing. The midterm was pretty easy but beneficial as long as you take notes on all definitions and formatting in class. If you attend all classes you do not have to take the final! She also only uses the time she needs:)

Professor Davis gives amazing feedback and is dedicated to your success, She carefully explains the criteria during lectures, is receptive to questions, and gives great advice on how to improve different aspects of the language. All of the work is Essay focused, and personally, I enoyed it.

Professor Davis is a great teacher who gives helpful feedback. The class can be tough with mandatory attendance and lots of writing, but using Unstuck AI for study prep made it manageable. Overall, a rewarding experience.
