Professor Tiwari was great! She was so helpful! she gives you a lot of the questions on the exams and the short answers. Outside of class she is more than willing to help. By far my favorite Bio teacher! Take her!!!!

She was one of my favorite professors when I took her class. She is very helpful and clear and is always willing to put extra time if you need it. Her tests are very text based, so if you just do your homework you will be solid. Even though she has a little bit of an accent, she makes it very clear to understand.

Love her!!! She is awesome. I am taking Bio 101 with her right now and is also willing to take Bio 102. I like her teaching style. In ordr to get an "A" you just have to attend her lectures regularly.

I would strongly recommend her. I was in her BIO101 class and is also registered in her BIO102 class for sping semester. She makes the topic easy to study.

She is the best! All you have to do is come to class and take notes or print them, and of course study. She tells you to start things that will be on the exam.(like 20 of them!)And the exams are like 45 questions.

This teacher was awesome! I didn't need to buy a textbook, she gives you everything you need to know in order to study. She gives lectures then gives a non-graded quiz that helps you prepare for the exams. Being in class is important if you want what you need to study, but there are still powerpoints that have a lot of the information. AWESOME

Mrs. Tiwari was so nice. She definitely seemed to care about her students. Everything she gave you to study you could literally memorize and regurgitate while still understanding it. Not a tough teacher at all; I really hope to have more professors like her.

she is my all time favorite professor. She is very smart and knows the material well. she will explain everything out and if you still don't understand, she will show in a different method. As she goes through the power points, she will point out what will be on the test. Her quizzes (graded for completion) are literally the test. I luv her!!!

Mrs. Tiwari is a wonderful lady! Incredibly patient & friendly. I didn't have any trouble understanding her accent & she makes the subject very clear. Jumps to help those who don't understand. Go to class & you probably won't need the book. Easy tests. She's not the most interesting prof ever, but does everything else right & is super nice to boot!

I took Professor Tiwari for both lecture and lab. She is very nice and is willing to answer any questions you have, especially in lab. She can be hard to understand due to her accent, but it isn't a major drawback. You don't need the book at all to pass because she posts all powerpoints, and tells you what exactly is on the test.

Prof. Tiwari is very sweet & always willing to help you understand a concept if you're struggling. Her tests are REALLY easy. If you attend the lectures, she points out exactly which concepts are going to be on the tests & offers extra credit questions on tests. There are 4 exams, but she drops the lowest one. Lab was a breeze too.

Best Biology Professor ever! I recommend taking her. If you are reading this take her you will not regret it. She gives in class quizzes with a partner. Then goes over the quiz right after for participation points! The test is so easy if you look over her study guides. The exact same questions. Take her for any Bio Class, trust me!

All of her tests are just questions from non-graded quizzes that she gives at the end of each chapter. If you pay attention and answer the questions there, you'll do well. As a lecturer, she can be dry, and she mispronounces a lot of bio terms, which can be confusing. She's a nice person, though. If you need a good grade, just grin and bear it.

I Love her!!!! She is amazing!!!! Very helpful. Her tests are easy if you attend her lectures regularly. Some of the topics are dry, but she makes them really interesting. I would highly recommend her!!!!!

EASIEST BIO professor ever. wish i had her for human ant. she makes bio very interesting and fun. participation does matter and quizzes are exactly her test. she even points out what going to be on test take her for summer less work and less material which makes it easier.

She's a great teacher, she gives you objectives for the short answer questions, and also gives in-class, group quizzes, that only count for participation grade, so make sure you attend class because they are an easy grade booster. She has detailed PowerPoints that she posts on blackboard, she also posts the quizzes and answers online afterwards.

Easy professor! All you have to do is to attend her lecture and take notes. I personally hate Biology because in high school I got a C- . However, after taking with her bio 101 I have an A in her class. Do not depend on quizzes too much. Just take notes and you will be good. EASIEST professor I had so far. You will not regret it! Trust ME!!!!!!!!!

Her Lab is kind of tough. Most of the questions in lab report are confusing. You will get a C in her lab.

Love professor Tiwari, come to class take notes and do the quizzes which are mostly done and home and you'll get an A. Four exams are taken and the lowest one is dropped at the end of the semester. Very easy class, and you learn a lot too! Don't need textbook, her power points and quizzes are enough to ace the tests.

It does not require textbook, Professor Tiwari has all the course materials post on Blackboard. Pay attention during lecture because she will tell what is going to be in the exam. An easy A class, and I'm going to take Bio 102 with her again.

She is an amazing professor! Her class was easy and she is very helpful. She will let you know what is on the test, but it is helpful to take notes to use as a study guide. Overall the class was great!

This professor is the best bio 101 professor ever! I missed a test because I slept in and she let me retake it. She puts notes up on blackboard in advance for you to look at and she will clarify ANYTHING you need help with. I recommend her highly. She also has a funny sense of humor.

She is the absolute best biology professor at NOVA Loudoun!! She is so helpful and creates practices quizzes that are similar to the exams. No required homework, but you should attend class because she further expands on the concepts that are presented on the exam.

She's really good at teaching bio and the tests are literally exactly what she says in class. Make sure you take notes on the powerpoints and WRITE DOWN THE THINGS SHE SAYS WILL BE ON THE TEST i recommend going home and rewriting your notes and put special attention to the things she says will be on the test bc its gonna be on there word for word.

Tiwari is awesome her tests are not hard at all! Although most of her classes are early it is easy to stay awake because she makes the subject interesting. She teaches from power points which she explains more in detail while you're in class and than posts on blackboard so you do not have to write everything on the board down. Highly recommend her

Prof. Tiwari is by far my favorite professor I've had this semester. She always makes sure to give you enough time to copy down all the notes on the slides before she elaborates more on the material, and does a pretty good job keeping the class engaged. EVERYTHING is on BB for your convenience, and the class just overall is super easy!

She's literally amazing! I recommend printing out her power points for each chapter before class so, you can write down what she writes on the board because what she writes on the board is 100% on the test! she's literally tells you what's important for the multiple choice or the short answer portion of the exam. Just note that and u'll be fine!

I took Proffessor Tiwari for bio 101 and 102, she is the best bio teacher I have ever had. Her lectures are amazing, she's really easy to understand and helps prepare you for exams. I loved her class !!! As long as you go to class listen take notes and actually study your guaranteed an A !!

What I loved about taking her class, was that it was not stressful. Every class all you did was go over the powerpoint. So basically you do not have to show up every class because you can check the PP at home. However, She does write on the board specific notes that are very important for exams . There are like 4 tests, JUST DO THE OBJECTIVES !

Professor Tiwari shows her students that she cares so much and is willing to help you with anything. i would take her for the rest of undergrad if I could. She is willing to help students and is honestly a sweet and lovely human being. For lab and lecture she is wonderful. Thank you Mrs. Tiwari.

Im not the best at bio but she made me understand biology with no problem. She teaches with power points which is very helpful because she posts them on B.B. She drops the lowest test score which is super helpful to your grade. The tests are based off the ppt.s and what she writes on the whiteboard!! If you study correctly you should do just fine.

She will tell what will be on the test throughout the lecture for each chapter. The tests are multiple choice along with a few short answer questions that you choose from and three to four extra credit questions.

she tells you exactly what is on the exams. you have to study in order to pass her exams. she emails back quickly and if you ask for help outside of class she will meet with you and explain what you need help with.

Awesome teacher! Very clear about what will be on the test and what wont. At the end of each unit, you do like a two page packet with the person next to you which she calls a group project. Really easy mostly multiple choice open note and graded. Very sweet really cares just wants you to do well

I really enjoyed this professor, she states very clearly exactly what is important for the tests. She responds to emails quickly and is always willing to meet outside of class if you need extra help. The homework often ends up being the study guide, so definitely do that.

She is hands down my favorite instructor. I am so pleased that I chose her for this class. She is super sweet, obviously cares about her students, and pauses during the lectures in order for students to thoroughly write down the notes. I recommend her 100%. You won't regret it.

Biology does not come easy to me and I highly cant recommend Prof Tiwari enough! She makes learning the material so easy and interesting if you show up to class. Write down exactly everything she writes on the board and pay attention to things she repeats. She tells you every important slide you need to know for the exam! Take her and no one else!

She was one of my favorite professors by far. Biology is not an easy subject for me, but her lectures were great. She never made you feel badly for not understanding and offered lots of help/feedback if needed. Make sure to do the objectives, they helped a lot for exams. I wish she was teaching Bio102 because I would definitely take her again!

This professor is amazing!!! She replies fast to emails and is super helpful! Biology is not my favorite subject but she makes it interesting giving various examples. Just do the objectives as most of the questions on the exam come from it. She gives 2-3 extra credits questions at the end of the exam. I actually learned in her lecture.

Ms Tiwari is a great choice! she goes in depth with her lectures but also keeps the tests fairly easy if you study her powerpoints you will be fine. She is understanding of extraneous circumstances and overall a very good choice.

Professor Tiwari is one of the best professors that I've had at NOVA. You can tell she truly cares about all her students. She responds to emails and questions promptly and thoroughly. As long as you pay attention in her lectures you will do excellent on the exams as she gives you hints as to what is important for the assessments.

I absolutely adore her! There are a lot of tests, though the homework is fairly simple. She is always willing to do office hours. Her tests are a bit not well timed, though its a college class.

Would 100% take this professor again. I took her 12-week lecture in the summer and easily got an A. Grades are based on 4 exams (proctored over zoom with extra credit questions at the end) and easy homework assignments mostly graded on completion. Attendance is also graded. Exams are based off of the PowerPoints.

She is very nice, all her test is exactly what she teaches. She repeats a lot to make sure you understand. During lecture she will tell you this is very important for your test so you know to pay extra attention. She gives extra credit. I would definitely take her again.

She is an amazing professor. Her tests are based off of everything she taught and she knows the material very well. All the tests had a couple extra credit questions at the end that always boosted my grade. If you just pay attention to her slides and lecture, you will pass the class without ever having to open the book.

Chill professor and class. Workload not intense, labs mostly done in groups and not difficult. Zoom lectures don't require camera on but she makes class do a few polls. Only one (occasionally two) short chapter assignments per week Study these homework assignments and module objectives and you should be prepared for exams. She is caring&nice.

the labs are sometimes confusing but very easy to get an A on. be prepared to read through a bunch of powerpoints. She gives 1 hour lectures and records/uploads them on canvas. majority of the info was taught in middle & high school so this class is pretty easy.

Professor is such a sweet lady. Bio 141 is always scary because its known to be a very challenging course, but professor made it as easy as she could. Lab exams are extremely easy if you pay attention to the review, and the class exams are a bit challenging, but professor tries to help out by adding extra credit questions. Overall amazing semester.

Great professor. Cares about her students and wants everyone to pass. Easy class as long as you do the assignments and follow the directions. The exams have 5 extra points which you can achieve by getting the extra credit questions right. She tells you on what will be in exam and what you need to know. EZ A in my opinion and the labs are ez nd fun.

Prof. Tiwari is an amazing professor! She is so sweet and helpful during labs and while her lectures are a little long, they are super interesting. The material on the test is everything she teaches you in the lectures, so study her slides and you'll pass. Same with homework, as long you turn in the homework and labs, you'll pass.

I was hesitant to take the 7 week summer course but professor Tiwari made it possible. The labs were done in groups. She is an easy grader, labs were mostly completion grades. Tests have an average of 5 extra credit points. Overall, she's great.

This professor cares about her students' grades, which shows in her leniency. She is very straightforward when it comes to the lectures in class and sometimes will play Kahoot on questions that you need to know for the exams. For the labs, she is thorough with the instructions and helps you better understand the activities. There are study guides!

I highly recommend PROFESSOR TIWARI. I am not going to say it is an easy class because it is not, but she gives you the materials you need to study for the exam, lab practicals. Be ready to have extra time for this class. As long as you study her materials, you will pass.

Amazing Professor who gives 4 exams instead of a compiled final exam consisting of 3-5 chapters. She is very knowledgeable in Biology and gives great lectures with plenty of examples and questions. One of the best science professor at nova . A&P is hard a class but she made it fun and enjoyable. She is very knowledgeablea about biology and knows what she is teaching. 4 lecture and lab practical exam. There are not so difficult as long as you study her objective and understand her PowerPoints.
