The best history teacher i have ever had!!!!!! she explains everything very well. She is not intrested in dates but just the big picture. As long as you read the book you will do great on the midterms(theres 4). She also offers an essay option instead of the tests. Great teacher really glad i took her class.

This is the best teacher ever! she teaches so well and she shows videos about what your learning which made it easier for me to remember. She gives 4 midterms and she gives you an option to do an essay,with the question posted on her blog a week before or just take the 50 question multiple choice. Definitely an entertaining teacher. The tests are about half lecture, half book, so you pretty much need the book. Don't really like the idea of having to visit her blog though... I don't know, just rubs me the wrong way.

Good teacher, you can really tell she loves History. Hardly any homework but the tests can be hard if you don't read the book. Lots of group work too, so be prepared. Overall I learned a lot and would take a class from her again.

She offers a ton of extra credit and her tests/quizzes aren't difficult if you STUDY. It's a really easy class if your objective is to get an A. She's super cool to! And has a ton of energy!

This teacher put you right there in the history. She made it clear that she wanted us to receive something from her class but we had to do our part. Some did and some did not. I would take her class again just for the enjoyment of it...

Gives a lot of reading, but keep up with most of it and you'll be fine. Quizzes every week, and a group project at the end. She's very knowledgeable about what she does and wants to help her students understand and navigate the world and not just the class.

Prof Ramsey was a great in some ways but not so great in other ways. I loved her as a person- she was very easy to talk to and made history a lot more exciting than you'd expect. However, my issue was her unorganized habits and how it seems that she never really had time for you. I often found myself chasing her for questionshelp.

Online classes are tricky because you are really on your own. I think this class is very straightforward just pay attention to the deadlines.

My only comment doesn't have to do with the professor- be sure you have the right softwarehardware to access an online class.

Pretty typical for online - reading assignments, videos, some quizzes. Don't miss a deadline because you can't do late work. 4 exams total but again, if you read and watch the videos you will do fine. Also, I she was good about answering my emails. She even gave me her cell so I could talk to her about some questions I had. She was very chill.

History is not my thing. I failed the first few quizzes. When I met with her, she helped me and was very understanding. If you do the work and are respectful to her she will totally help you. This is an online HISTORY course - so you have to stay on top of reading and study - you have to be able to handle your own stuff. I didn't think it was too hard - but it's like any class. You won't pass if you don't do the work and study. The professor was very fair. And she was good about making sure students were treated with respect. Props.

Good class. I took it in Winter so it was an accelerated class - it feels like a lot when you do it that way, but it is not any more work than a normal semester. Do the reading and then do the homework and it is not bad. Actually, the discussions are easy. And the exams are open note and open book, so it was great that way.
