Raeann is a wonderful teacher. She is very accomodating if you are not able to attend class She encourages you to attend her class on the opposite days to take tests or if you need exra help. She does not make you feel stupid if you do not understand a concept. She will keep working problems until you do.

Math has always been my worst subject. I failed this class once already, and taking it with Raeann made me actually like math! She's taught every grade, so if she explains it and you don't understand, she knows about 6 other ways to explain it until you understand. Her tests are easy and it's almost impossible not to get an A. She's way funny too!

This teacher was awesome! She let you use your notes on tests and if you actually did use your notes she gives you extra credit towards that test! I actually felt comfortable asking questions and she made class fun! TAKE NOTES!! and use them!!

Raeann Hansen should be teaching beyond developmental math. Raeann has an uncanny ability to communicate with the students, not at the students. This is the third time taking math 990 and I have literally gone from being a math illiterate student, to being a math coherent student. Raeann Hansen is simply the BEST MATH INSTRUCTOR at SLCC.

The last time that I took math was 15 years ago, and I hated it! Raeann made me love math. She was encouraging, helpful and wouldn't move on until all the questions were answered. Raeann feels it a privilege to teach us not an obligation. My favorite thing was that she talked TO us not AT us. If you take math from Raeann you will understand math!

Raeann was amazing! I broke my collarbone halfway through the semester, needed surgery and she was still willing to work with me even after I missed over a month of class. She truly cares, wants you to succeed and makes math FUN. If only all proffesors were like her.

I took MATH950 in Fall 2011 from her and liked her so much I made sure to take this class (Spr2012) from her. Her techniques made it so good. She really cares. I recommend her to any student!

Reann is a dedicated teacher who treats her students with respect and dignity. I took Math 950 & 990 twenty-five years after high school. I received A's in both classes. She's an awesome professor. Ask questions if you don't understand something. She would find another way to explain you how to do the problems. She's patient and kind. You have to do 10 problems for homework of every section and its due the day of the test. She gave extra credit points if you do a separate notebook with the math rules and examples.

I have now almost completed two degrees at SLCC and she is still my favorite instructor after all this time. I absolutely adore her!

Math was always my worst subject and least favorite but I enjoyed going to her class! Her homework is easy, not a lot of busy work, and she gives chances for extra credit.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!! I wish every professor was as good as teaching students as she is. If you go to class she will teach all the tricks you need to know about math. When I did my math homework from other teachers I found my self lost. By the time I left her class everyday I was able to go home and get my homework done in no time.

Raeann is great but I didn't like the way she taught from the book. I felt like things were all over the place, especially when we kept jumping to different sections in the chapter. She really is an awesome teacher and takes her time to make sure everyone explains, I just wish she went about introducing and teaching the materials differently.

Eevn if you give a wrong answer she doesn't make you feel stupid, she encourages you and points you in the right direction so you can learn the right answer. She was also always willing to stay after and answer any questions and work through them with you. Although a little bit fast at times, as long as I took good notes, I was good.
