He is a very good teacher, sometimes he might get off topic but he know wat he is talking abt. he gives you real life problem, he makes math interesting and i would recomend to take him but you will have to study for his exams.

An excellent professor. You will grasp the math concept and excel in all other math classes thereafter.He gives extra credit and is a truly understanding professor. However, should you be a slacker then look for other options.But for all those seeking to excel in college, i highly recommend that you take Ghamasae.

Even though I was a lazy student that had to drop the class, he really is helpful. You need to ask him to help you, because his lectures can be confusing sometimes, but he is there, and only if you ask for the help.

He made the class fun even though calc can be really boring. He knows the information and he made the class think and exercised our minds. I would recommend him to anyone needing 1425. He can relate to the students whether you are young or old.

good professor, as long as you do your homework and review his examples you'll pass this class. he won't be easy for lazy students because you need to practice to learn math. that's the true that many people don't want to face. If you want a easy A, forget it...you need to open your book and practice!!

I took him for summer 1 and i thought that he taught very well and he is very clarified. I dropped the class because it was too much with my work schedule but if he is teaching in the fall I would so take his class! Just pay attention and take notes and you will easily pass his class! :D

He was the nicest most helpful math teacher I've had so far. I don't easily understand math but he was so very helpful and even though I didn't pass, I had the highest 093 grade yet (sad to say). With Mr. G's help I'm sure this next time I'll pass for sure<3

I beleive that he is a really good teacher and he has really high understanding of math and he is really fun sometimes.he helps u if u have any problems or he often stays to answer to any question i think he is a very helpful teacher but the bad thing is the homeworks which is a lot but overall i believe he is a great teacher.

I struggled in this class only b/c i wasn't on top of my hw. This class involves a TON of hw so you have to be ready for that, but the professor is very kind and funny too! If you ask him to go over something, he will and he really wants everyone to succeed but he wont pass you just to pass you. It is a very fast paced class!!! BE PREPARED TO WORK!

Stay away. by all means stay away. he is the worst teacher ive ever taken. i love math and am very good at it but he wants to give you test questions that are impossible for a student at our level. Do Not Take. Please listen to me. If you take his class you are guaranteed an F 9 out of the 17 students failed and 4 dropped. Seriously RUN!!!!!

Very hard class to take but that's because he actually cares that the students learn. Teacher keeps the class entertaining considering its such a glum subject. If you put in the time for this class, you will pass. It seems like most these others didn't want to try.

1. You can always negotiate about extending your assignments. Dr. G is a good person to speak to. The class requires a lot of homework...His tests are usually a bit harder that an average homework but he gives bonus assignments in the test, which are very helpful to increase a grade.

Very Good Professor.I started out knowing literally nothing about algebra but he allowed me to sit in on another class he taught so I could catch up. Keeps his word and is professional.

Hes is a really good trig teacher. hes funny, hes understanding, he helps you out, he doesnt want anyone to fail but if you dont try, then he cant do much to help you out. i really enjoyed his class. tests are fair and short. homework is the same for all trig classes. over all ide give him an A- :D

Overalls, he doesnt want any students failed his classes. His classes arent hard at all, as long you do homework assignment, you would be fine or do well on the test. Make sure you understand all example on the books because that's exactly he give you on the test. Good luck!

I took him for stats during summer I and I got an A+. I was horrified to take this class but Ghamasaee was an excellent teacher. The class is very intense and it requires alot of studying but it is not hard. I would recommend him but try not too miss too many classes.

I took his Summer II class and did very well. It was due to his good teaching, helpfullness and my hard work. As long as you listen in the class, do your Homework and look at all the book examples, you'll do great. He's very helpful and gives partial credits in tests. He's always willing to help if you need any. Overall good professor.

Dr. Ghamasaee actually cares about his students, even for his online classes. He is very prompt and professional. The class might be tough, however, you will walk away feeling confident about the subject as I did. I would definitely recommend taking him because STATS is one of those classes that you will need for future reference.

Dr.G is a great proffesor. He makes math actually fun and interesting. I'm taking him for College Algebra 1414 and I could not have taken a better proffesor. He understands if you arrive late to class or not assist due to an emergency. He understands if math is NOT your major.

i don't know why there is so much bile against prof. G.He used to teach at university and has tons of experience in the practical application of his math and computer science field.this is a very serious professor and only merits serious students. how he teaches is what you should expect when going transferring to a 4yr university

Very thorough and helpful. He requires allot of work, but If you're interested in making a good grade, he'll help you get there. He has a good sense of humor and is one of the best professors I've encountered.

Everybody should know that math class need lots of practice...I MEAN A LOT..If you go to his every class and just practice all the problems he says you to practice, I will guarantee that any one can get A.. Stop complaining how hard the professor is and start doing some problems... that will be more helpful for your grades.... he is the best ....

I strongly recommend him for those who are majoring in engineering, computer science, and all others who need a strong foundation in mathematics. His lectures are very interesting and the tests are easy if you do your homework.

He is extremely helpful and works with the students schedules. if anything come up you can talk to him. he wants you to succeed and will work with you.

Took spring Trig with him, he tends to get off topic. But overall he is awesome, he is more than flexible and offers a ton of extra points, he pushed back several due dates for me. But just like any class that is to be taken seriously it requires a lot of studying and practice.

Dr. G is a decent teacher. He is hard and so is the subject but he lets you know what you need to know for the tests. He makes sure that you leave his class with great knowledge in calculus. His tests are hard but not impossible. He is also funny which helps bring the pressure of calculus down. If you are good in math take him, if not skip him.

Although this class if super challenging online, Dr Ghamasaee was extremely helpful when I needed help. He was very responsive to email and meeting at his office. I appreciate his willingness and dedication as a teacher. If you work hard, you can get through this class, but if time and able to attend a class, It is best to take in classroom.

Trigonometry is so hard but dr. G does his best to make it easy. He helps alot with extra credit and dropping tests. I highly recommend this class

He's a decent math professor & he know all about math. He has different ways to solve math problems which excites me to take his class again for cal II. If you're a science student, take him. If not, i highly rec that you shouldn't. You might get a D. His tests are hard, but if you study enough & pay attention in class, you'll be fine.

I recommend Dr. G for anyone who wants to go to college to learn, not just to make a grade. Show him that you want to learn and he would go all the way with you. Dr. G is not for people looking for a grade. Dr. G is for those who want to be prepared for their next level of math courses. I don't know if he teaches Precalc, but I am definitely taking him for Calc I. He's funny. He knows his stuff. And if he seems to go fast in lecture, just stop by his office. He likes to help.

He cares about students. His grading is very good. Most of the student will pass. Exams are easy. He is always ready and available for help. No confusing materials. Take him.

Take this course over the summer if you have a good background in math. You'll need the book. He uses examples from the book on exams and the homework is easy. You should attend every class. If you do your part, this class will be easy. I thought this class would be tough, but turned out to be one of the easiest math class i've taken.

I LOVE this professor, he is so intelligent! He was my all time favorite and I'm sad I can't take him anymore . Do ALL of the assignments and MORE and read the book IN DETAIL , his tests make you think . He would always say "Life is so beautiful" randomly in between teaching and he would go off on tangents about issues worldwide; he is inspiring.

He is very intelligent and expects you to be the same sometimes. Attendance is not mandatory but it's good for you if you want to pass. Helps and nudges you in the right direction if he sees you struggling. Very attentive and kind. Tests are tough, he tried his best to help by giving hints in class so pay close attention.

Good for engineers. Wants you to succeed. Do the min and you will fail, do all that he recommends (including Extra credit) and you'll pass even if you shouldn't have.(and learn some stuff) difficult subject, tough class no matter what teacher you have, I'd take him again. If you can't pass this course with him then you should rethink your major.

One of the best math teacher you can have! He is very funny and intelligent. He makes his lecture very interesting and making an A in his class is not hard at all. His tests are easy with an extra bonus question and he curves a lot! If you fail a test he will give options to make better grades. I will definitively take him in calculus 2.

Fantastic math teacher. Explains concepts in such an elegant yet simple way. Really nice guy, but makes it hard because he wants you to be prepared for future math courses.

Pre-Cal. My favorite professor. Inspirational and mega funny. To do well, you must do all the homework, read the book and study for the tests, but it is worth it because you will actually learn the material. I love his slightly off-topic lectures about the real world. He encourages us to work hard in order to be successful. His passion is obvious.

Dr. Ghamasaee is one of the best professors at North Lake college. Mathematics can be a challenging class but Dr. Ghamasaee breaks it down into small building blocks. I have taken three classes with this professor and can't imagine a better math instructor . I hope he is around when my kids get ready for college. Take him if you want to learm.

Dr. G is a great mathematician and it shows in his class. While he can show you how to work formulas, it is entirely up to you to memorize them and know when to apply them. He will let you know what will be on the tests and review before taking them.

Took his class at Collin College. Excellent at explaining topics and will work with you if you put in the effort. KNOW ALGEBRA LIKE THE BACK OF YOUR HAND! He makes the Calculus concepts easy to understand but does expect you to know algebra well. Do all homework and pay attention in class and you will do fine, but be ready to work for it.

I don't understand why people so struggle in his class? Dr. Ghamasaee is amazing! I took him for cal3 and he made it really interesting and understandable. Of course, it is not a walk in the park and you need a good foundation in math to get to this level. I love his sense of humor and his passion in teaching. Definitely recommend him!!!

Very helpful professor and easy B but need to work hard to earn the A. Lots of extra credit. I recommend this professor to anyone who wants to really learn maths concepts. He is nice choice. The only bad thing about him is he shares a lot of his personal life during lecture.

If you really want to gain knowledge then go for him. You need not have to spend a lot of time in mathlab like other professors make you to do.

You need to do all the homeworks as he told and give more attention to the examples which will show up in test. Be careful what he tells in class.

He is a nice professor and he trys to help you out as much as he can. Read the textbook, do the homework assignment, show up to class. Calculus is hard, but he makes it easier than other teachers. Go to class because he says stuff like, this question will be similar to a test question.

He is a good professor. He teaches the course at a college level - it is hard. The class itself is difficult, but doing ALL the homework and going to class will guarantee you at least a C. He goes over most of the test questions and he is a VERY caring person. Put some effort into it and you will succeed in this class.

Dr. G WANTS his students to pass. Its a crazy tough class. I took him in a summer flex term. Calc 1. Super tough but he is the best! We studied and studied and still got terrible grades on the tests, but his curve at the end of the semester is generous. He really does care. Take him. WORK for it. Youll be fine!

For Statistics he is a very easy grader. He tells you how to pass his course and even makes a 75% on the homework an A on homework. As long as you try, you'll pass. My husband recommended him to me after taking his Calculus I and III courses. The harder the course, the worse your grade looks, but he does it on a curve so a 56 could be an A.

He is one of the best professors I have ever taken. He knows his stuff. Expect to read so you can understand the material fully. If you don't understand, come to his office. Taking Stats in the summer is a tough thing to do. Dr. Ghamasaee really does understand how short the summer classes are and wants everyone to pass. He is a really nice person and will help you if you ask. He offers extra credit as well as curves and takes your highest grade and replaces the lowest test grade! Great professor!!!

He was one of the amazing professor I have had. He wants his students to learn that's why he provides "BEAUTIFUL" questions and goes to the depth of every chapter. He, although makes you practice less question than other professor does. But if you practice questions of whatever he teaches at class, you'll learn thoroughly. Dr G. is the best.

Dr. G is the best!!! The material is difficult, but he explains it really well. He answers questions very clearly and lets you know exactly what to expect on the test. He is a good professor. He is ready to give an A if you do well on your tests and homework. He clarifies your doubt in such a way that you would understand the other similar problems. I would surely suggest him. And I am taking him for my CAL 1 and CAL 2.

Calc 3 is a hard subject by itself. Although the professor makes the material clear, doesn't spend a lot of time of class in the study material. The first 30 minutes of class is all about his life. But I could understand him whenever he was teaching. He definitely made the subject matter clear. The main problem is you should be ready to study own.

If you decide to read these comments, you need to read this one. The teacher might have bad statistics but that is not his fault. The students who rated the professor badly were lazy. If you, the student, are willing to put forth any effort: you will pass. Otherwise, don't bother going to college.

He teaches difficult courses so he gets a bad rep. My course was an accelerated calculus course (8 weeks not 16) so of course, it was difficult. However, with limited class time and the impossible task to each calculus in 8 weeks, he really does know the subject through and through and cares about the students actually learning the subject.

I was worried about Dr. G because of this site. With that said, He is one of the best professors whose class I have had the privilege of taking. While he may seem difficult, he wants his students to learn and succeed in the future. He dedicates time to students via answering ?'s and providing amazing feedback. He is always open to help.

Dr.G is one of the best Math professors I have ever had. I was in his trigonometry class and then I decided to take him for Calculus. He clearly explains every concept and solves really good (difficult) questions in class, and in exams, he keeps it as simple and straight-forward as possible. Also, every exam has a couple of bonus questions.

I took three class with him Algebra, Cal1 and Cal2 . I totally enjoyed his class. I think he is the best math professor in dcccd because he cares each student in his class.I highly recommend everyone to take his class. I bet you won't regret .

A really amazing professor. Gives a very straight forward lecture to explain the concepts. Also gives fine advice for the future and truly caring about his students. I recommend taking him if you want to have a clear concept in Calculus.

I LOVED class with Dr. G. He is funny and a great teacher. I'm 47 years old, so I'm old-school. I understand going in to a heavy college course like this that I will have to read on my own and do all the homework to make a good grade. If you are expecting to just be handed a grade without doing much, you will be surprised and disappointed. WORK.

Dr. Rahman is one of the best professor in class. I took Calc I with him last semester and believe me it went really fast and easy. He does a lot of practice problems to make sure everybody understand the topic. Online homework and exams are pretty easy. Get all those done on time, you will end up getting a good grade.

If you stay on schedule with assignment, you will be fine. The homework, quizzes and test are straightforward.

Doctor G is a very respected professor. He's very inspirational and will help you understand not just the lessons in class but lessons in life. I won't say that his class is very easy because you have to work hard to get that A. He gives a lot of extra credits. He gives a lot of advice. I won't mind taking him as my Math professor again.

Dr. G is the professor to go to if you want to have a strong base in Calculus. He provides good lectures as well as valuable lessons of life and also has a good sense of humor. It is not tough to get an A in his courses but you have to work hard for it and obviously it is important to work hard to have a strong base in any Math course.

Though it was an accelerated course he did his best to make us understand every course material. Gives good reviews for the exam. He focuses on understanding the problems than solving the problems. Take him if you want to learn real math concepts.

Personally I was very nervous about taking an online statistics course because math has never been my strong suit but Dr. Ghamasaee's online course is very well put together. The way he laid out the material makes it such that you can understand and learn. Dr. Ghamasaee is also very accessible and kind. I highly recommend him as a professor!

If you are in major Science or Math, I highly recommend this professor's lecture. It changes your brain to Math brain:) If you are participate this course, you can get A.

Let's be honest if you are looking for an easy A then you are on the wrong page. Dr. Ghamasaee is very knowledgeable person. If you are looking to have a productive lecture and challenging questions in class then he is the right teacher for you. I did not earn an A in his class but believe me, I gained more knowledge than those who got an easy A.

Professor Ghamasaee genuinely cares about his students and wants to help them succeed in his class. Although he presented us with a schedule, he was very flexible. This class is very homework heavy, and with being online now with the pandemic, you're teaching yourself basically through online lessons. However, Professor Ghamasaee was always available. As long as you do all of the lessons and take A LOT of notes, you'll make an A!

I took professor Rahman Ghamasaee for Math 1342 and I loved it. I was also recovering for surgery and professor Rahman Ghamasaee let me work at my speed. Returned all my emails, was very caring, great feedback and very very reasonable with extra credit and the amount of work for the course. I would HIGHLY recommend taking this class!

Definitely one of the best professors I have had. Despite the fact that I was a high school student, he was willing to explain harder concepts which were new to me. Spent the necessary time to make sure that you knew what you were doing, and office hours were provided to make sure that the student benefited the most. I enjoyed taking his class.

This professor wants you to pass as much as you do. Show up for class, participate, do the work, show him you are truly giving your best effort and he will meet you halfway with extra credit and he will keep showing examples until you get it. He is more than fair.

I took his Calc 1 16-weeks class. He tried hard to help, he had office hours at least three times a week, answering any questions and go over some examples. I will say it was more of a self taught class since you have to read the book. BTW I will recommend Professor Leonard Youtube videos, he is also really helpful and help me keep my A in Calc.

Easy class if you do your homework. The tests are easier than most of the homework problems and he lets you take them twice. He does use Respondus, but if you don't mind the webcam it's a great class. Don't let the ratings discourage you from taking his class because he is an excellent professor.

Class goes smooth, Great sense of Humor. Clears doubt and the best part you can hear stories which will eventually related to your topic.

If you do not do your homework you will fall behind. . Take notes! He only has 4 tests for the 8-week course. You cannot blame him for not passing the course it is up to you if you pass or fail.

Test heavy and tests are proctored. Do not fall behind, and attend office hours if needed. Very doable in a semester course, communicates very well. Practice tests are similar to reviews but recommend practicing additional problems to really succeed, especially from homework. Ask for additional practice if needed. Really knows the subject well.

This was an eight-week class so it was very fast paced with a lot of material to cover. The online layout of this class was very clear and easy to navigate. The last 3 exams were facilitated by lockdown browser + webcam, and work needed to be shown for those exams. Homework is through MyLabMath.

This professor is really good if you want marks and if you want to learn.
