I took Professor de Ocampo for a social media strategy class last year. His lectures are very informative and he uses various case studies both from his past experiences and from well-known brands. Grades fair and participation is very important to him. Would certainly recommend and take him for another marketing class.

I took social media marketing class from Rainier and it was just amazing. The topics that we covered in class and the discussions we had were very interesting and up-to-date. He cares about each student and gives effective feedback. Overall, great professor with valuable knowledge.

Professor Rainier is a very fun and inspirational person. He added case study to each of our lecture and require us to think and work about it. He also has lots of informational slides that can be used in real professional life. What I love about his class is when we can discuss our assignments and he will give some thoughts and ideas about them.

I took Prof. Rainier for both IMC and Social Media Marketing. His case studies and lectures are interesting and inspiring (even though could be slightly old-school). The part I enjoyed the most is the Integration method he uses in Marketing (encourages thinking out-of-the-box) and real-life cases of his own successes and failures.

You will learn relevant and up-to-date information about Social Media Marketing. Rainier does challenge you to think critically in a constructive helpful way to deepen your knowledge. One of the best classes I took! He keeps the discussion on marketing relevant with his weekly "Shop Talk" sessions. Invited amazing guest speakers to class who all worked in marketing but in different capacities, so everyone could be inspired in one way or another. You will have group assignments, so be smart about who you choose to work with.

The professor is great and gives solid lectures. I wish we could have seen him during Zoom meetings, to make it more personal, but due to poor internet connection at his home it was not possible. A big chunk of the grade was from a group project that was really difficult to do only online with people you've never met. Wish it had been in classroom.

Professor Rainier is truly passionate about marketing. He has an interesting list of books to read. I like the #Shoptalk part of the lecture. The course is very intensive and condensed.

Informative class with guest speakers and real world examples

This is the first college course I've ever taken, and Rainier made it such a pleasure! He teaches very well and explains everything very thoroughly. He is always there to help and will make sure you understand the material and assignments. PS. he makes funny jokes along the way too:)

There are many approaches a professor can take towards Social Media Marketing, but I found his approach to be enjoyable & comprehensible. I liked the homework case studies, and I appreciated that he challenged us to think critically and provided a space for us to voice our opinions and ask questions. Would definitely take another class with him!

This Professor is the perfection of a professor. He's well prepared and knowledgeable of the industry. He also consisted of teaching every week promptly despite one week when she had a family emergency. This Spring, I had the privilege of learning from Professor Rainier De Ocampo's "Social Media Marketing" course. Whilst intellectually stimulating, Professor De Ocampo has set up the class so that all students can succeed and score high grade points: Come to class, work hard on assignments, follow instructions - you will receive an A grade.

I took Professor De Ocampo's class to learn more about social media marketing. This class was short in that it went by quickly but learned a lot in a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend taking his class. He gives good lectures and brings in guest speakers that are really helpful.

I was always so excited to have this class every week because he speaks so well and keeps you so connected that it's impossible not to learn something at the end of it. Awesome presenter, keeping class engaged, course material is pretty simple, going a bit in depth into integrated marketing but more taken as a beginner level class. Theres a main project taken across the course and its broken down into 2 parts for midterm and final. Presentation based with weekly assignments, nothing too consuming.

Taking up marketing as a career was a question mark to me, But Professor Rainer de Ocampo really brought out the true essence behind marketing and showed me how fun and creative it can be. I am usually a person who is interested only in the first few classes, but he had me hooked from start to finish I genuinely wanted to go to class and learn.

The Integrated Marketing class was excellent. The professor teaches workplace-applicable marketing, not just theory. He's a great speaker, provides valuable book recommendations, and connects classwork to real-world marketing. The group project offered hands-on experience developing a real marketing campaign.
