Had him for winter session. He told us exactly what was going to be on the test. Answered all questions and went throught problems thoroughly. Pretty good teacher. I got a B

Dr. Kiani is the best acct Prof I have ever had. He is precise and clear about what he wants you to learn and he doesn't assign homework just to keep you busy. Do do the homework you will ace the exams. I took 2 classes with him and got an A in both.

He's a really cool teacher, he explains everything very well and his tests are easy. He is funny too. By the way he's only rude to stupid people!

Easy class, he tells you everything you need to know during class and if your like me and sleep through class the tests are based on the questions in the book. He's not rude he just puts those, who walk in late or ask stupid questions, in their place. I wish more professors would be like Prof Kiani.

Very fair and nice prof. For this course he is by far the best selection. His tests are extremely fair and all you need to do is put some effort into studying his notes. Take good notes and go to the classes. Also, make sure to do the reports he gives, they are easy A's.

Prof Kiani is the easiest accounting teacher I have ever had. His tests are so basic and straight to the point. All tests are multiple choice and sometimes offers extra credit quizzes. Has an accent, but not difficult to understand. Highly Recommended

Professor Kiani is really nice, and easy. He made gateway fun. If you have to take gateway, take him!

He's a very good teacher, explains very clearly, not an act major but was so good that wanted to change but no mine major is better, so act majors take him, everything is explained so clearly that even dumn people would get it, didn't like the final grade he gave me b/c was getting high grades, but still the best teacher, hoping that i'll take gate

I liked his style and found his class interesting. his lectures are so helpful that for the most part u don't need to read the book. if u attend his class and pay close attention to the lectures u'll do well on the tests. i learned a lot in his class and would strongly recommend him.

Kiani is awesome. He is a funny and charming. If you do not understand the assignment he does a great job at clarifying. The key in BUS 302 is your group, a good one! If you have a slacker, you're going to do extra work. make sure to grade your group appropriately cause it could mean a +/- to your grade! take in summer/winter.

The class is kind of boring, but he is clear about what will be on the tests. If you want to do well go to class and pay attention to the problems he goes over in class because that is what the test will be on.

Kiani isnt that easy. Very little class participation during lectures. Only gives 3-4 tests and that's your GRADE. All those tests are about 20% of your grade and the final is even more. If you screw up on one of those tests then say goodbye to your grade. Tests usually have MC but also a big work problem. Gives no homework/PAPERS TO HELP URE GRADE

If you pay attention and get past his accent, you will understand everything. I took this class in the summer and he made it very clear in comparison to other professors.

Pr. Kiani is a wonderful instructor. He is very smart and passionate about accounting. His explanations are very clear, and he does his best during the class. I enjoyed his class during summer, and I will take this professor again with pleasure.

I thought Kiani had tourrets, but that is just his style of teaching. Very clear when it comes to explaining what will be on the tests. No homework, just tests and they are fairly simple, if you bother to read the book and handouts. Always says "You will COME!!!" before a test, funny guy.

He is a little weird, but you must learn to tolerate him. Exams are not very hard, do all the problems he assigns. Also pay attention to his handouts. Easy to pass, a little bit tricky to get an A, but way easier than any Acct351, 352, and 400 level classes.

Dr.Kiani is one of the best professors at CSUN. His lectures are demonstrations of problems he gives on tests. He's very kind and willing to help. However, if you're lazy and don't like to attend class, don't waste his time nor yours.

Goes over exactly what you need to know on the test and basically lets you use his handout on the test. Didn't know jack and basically learned some stuff on test.

Dr. Kiani is a great professor. Not sure of my grade just yet, however, I think the majority of the comments against him on here are pathetic; I feel like passing out pacifiers. Same with my classmates; half of them cry about how bad he is as a prof; my thought is stop crying and start studying. This is an MBA program so grow up!

prof. kiani is fair. he curves so helps big time. i bombed two of my exams and still managed to get a B+ for the class. his accent is not bad. if you can't understand him, you will struggle in business, as the workforce is pretty diverse and full of much worst accent.

Instructor is very clear on what he expects on the exams. Accounting is a tough subject so a lot of the negative comments seem to target the professor when really, the students need to take responsibility and study. Kiani actually curves, which I didn't care for because that allowed these "slackers/cry babies" to pass the course as well.

His accent isn't too bad. Using certain handouts on the exams really helps. The exams are not impossible, but not easy either. He really stresses attendance, and gets mad at people who are always late or who rarely show up. He also would explain homework problems more than teaching the chapters. He lets you know the details of the exams.

I liked this class. It was pretty easy; Kiani made it even easier, letting everyone have a billion handouts to take the tests. If you fail with such assistance, you don't deserve to pass. Take him if you want to have someone who makes fun of the idiots in the class...."Hello?!?!" or a teacher who cares that you attend class: "But you will come!"

Amazing man! Clear expectations, but you just have to be understanding and look past the accent. Give him a chance! Very helpful if he knows you're trying. Hates slackers, but who wouldn't as a professor? Likes people to be on time and prepared for class. As a business major timing is everything right! Great class!

He goes over the subject in a step by step manner. Sometimes even 3 or 4 times just in case the dumbasses didn't get it the 2nd time. Class can be a bit boring at times because all he does is go over the homework. He mumbles, but you get use to it.Gives a ton of handouts during tests for help. 2 midterms. 1 final. attendance is mandatory.

Great Professor and very easy class. He gives you handouts to use on the test that make it very easy. He has an accent, but not too bad and he's very funny. 2 midterms 1 final.

He has been teaching over 40 years here. So he knows where we make mistakes. Do your work before the class and listen to the lecture. The subject is hard and boring but he tries his best to teach. Don't be late, don't chat, don't text in the class. Respect!

My second time taking Acct 230. Kiani is such a better professor than my other prof. He explains really well, gives you the big picture of the subject matter, very helpful. I definitely recommend taking his class. He can be strict about people coming in late and missing class. Be respectful and he will help you out.

Best Acct prof. ever. 4 the test study all the problems, specially the last long problem, he gave us a copy of that problem is the same problem on the test with different #'s and is 10pts, study the discussion Q's and the multiple choice that he goes over in class. He seems strict & all that but after a few class, you'll realize he's a great professor. His tests are easy. Go to class, DO THE PROBLEMS in the textbook, and handouts from his website and you're set for an A/A-. His tests are straightforward but read carefully!

Dr. Kiani has been teaching for forever. He knows where students make mistakes. Attendance is mandatory. One group project is 25%, three tests are the other 75%. He seems strict at first, but he lightens up further into the semester. Overall, good professor for 380.

EASY EASY EASY. You don't really need to spend much time doing the problems in the textbook, you can find the answers for everything on his website. If you don't pass, you really don't deserve the chance to be in his class.

Loved the class. Although I also read every single chapter covered, he was very helpful and provided handouts that explained things much better than the textbook. Took the class during summer and he allowed us to use several of his handouts for the midterm and final. Was also very helpful. Says "etcetera right here" a lot haha. Great professor!

Acc 380 is hard. However, he is so experienced and so knowledgeable that makes you understand the material. Gives a lot of helpful handouts that you can take to the exam. Even if you didn't study, the handouts are enough for a passing grade. He is a cool professor. However, be ready for a very surprising final exam. Overall a great teacher.

You're expected to do the work before class and come to class to work out any issues. We do homeworks step-by-step. If you find the material hard, study extra. If you find the material easy, don't. It's up to you, but Kiani is a super nice dude who give sou every opportunity to succeed. Material can be dry but not a hard class overall.
