She is a HORRIBLE lab instructor!!! She gives horrible directions for lab. Her grading is all twisted, takes off points for no reason, extremely unfair!! DO NOT take her for Lab or Lecture Bio311. It's no wonder they don't have her teaching lecture anymore!! There's no point arguing with her about her fairness, she will not budge!!

She is ot only a terrible teacher, and mean, and has an accent, but HER EXAMS ARE RIDICULOUS. Who knows where the hell she pulls these questions out from. Its not from what your studying trust me. You think she'd test you on subject matters

This professor has a tactic on how she deals with her students how you beat her game is going all the way ahead of the class for IE: class is on chapter 1 you should be on chapter 5 , she is hard,but a good professor but her teaching doesn't match the exam she gives. she is tough and doesn't care if you stay or not don't question her,dont take her.

Her class is impossible unless you have prior knowledge in biology. If you plan on passing the test you HAVE to memorize the chapters 110%. No extra credit & going to her office hours are useless unless you're passing then you'll get recommend for internships. STAY AWAY unless you have prior knowledge in biology.

Her tests have nothing to do with what she teaches in class. I studied for hours on end before the test and when I got the test I felt like I never opened a single book. I knew the material that was in my notes but the test was asking things completely different on all 5 tests

Her lectures are super boring & irreverent to the test. She'll spend 15 - 30 mins talking about research she has done. Most of the lecture is just looking at pictures on PowerPoint and getting brief descriptions. There is no way to prepare for her test. Doesn't matter how much you study. You'll have no clue where she pulled these questions from.

I took her for BI 115 and I got a C+. I took her again for BI 201 lab and I know she is very strict when she is scoring. You should know almost each word from the text book. You must show that you understand the class because she is one on the hardest proffesor. For lecture, she uses the book so it is really hard study from the text book.

Run! This professor made me shed tears from school, in the bus on my way home, and couple hours when I reached home. She shouts and you are afraid to ask questions. She has a strong accent which makes it difficult to understand sometimes. She doesn't have the skill for teaching. Take another professor! I beg you!

gave me a PANIC ATTACK ON DAY ONE. Yelled at me for checking my phone for updates from my therapist. I was having panic attack prior and during her yelling. Prof. if you see this: ya yelled at someone who required a service dog due to a medical condition, who was not with me because the dog was still being trained for my condition. TLDR: AVOID HER

When you would as a question in class she would never answer the question and say if you dont understand then its on you. Its hard to learn when you cant even ask questions with out getting dismissed or ignored. Shes just a very hard professor and i ended up having to retake the class during the summer. If you do have her, READ THE BOOK.

she is a really tough grader, gets annoyed at us when we ask questions or try to ask her about the marks she gave us on the quizzes. She does know how to teach and is organised but her accent makes it difficult to understand her sometimes. Very difficult course and she expects a lot from her students

I've been at QCC for 5 semesters now and this is hands down the worst professor i have ever taken. She is EXTREMELY rude, impatient, and such a hard grader. She takes points off for the most dumbest things. She's also very accusatory. I took her online this summer due to covid, I passed but i absolutely do not recommend this professor. At all!!!

I took this professor in the summer for both lecture and lab. The lecture was fine but lab was horrible. Her quizzes were ridiculous and she was a very unfair grader. Horrible Professor, please dont take her if its a class for credit. Really tough grader you memorize from PowerPoint she thinks you cheated, wrote word to word exact from her power point, you cheated. Outrageous exams you actually have to pay attention to her labs and study. She is not very nice when students ask questions. So please dont take.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER! I would always try my best and even receive the same answers as my classmates yet I kept receiving low or failing grades while my classmates got higher grades than me for the same answers we had. She drastically has me graded lower than a 60 which is impossible respectfully being that Im an A average student in lecture...

As a student who did pass her class, I still have nothing but bad things to report about this Professor. Believe all the comments Ive seen the way she treats students myself and all these comments are correct. Shes vindictive and lacks professionalism. Extremely rude and gets mad when students dont understand the work instead of explaining.

Just dropped her class, I saw the reviews and dismissed them. DO NOT DISMISS THEM! These reviews are accurate about this Professor. On my second day of class she was already horrible, I was not going to go through with it and put myself at risk. Shes so rude and doesnt properly explain anything but expects you to do perfect on assignments.

Do yourself a favor and avoid her at all costs. She is a thought grader and doesn't care to give you a chance to make up anything or submit anything late. One of the worst professors I've ever had. Taking this class online im failing and of course, she doesn't care to even give extra credit. she needs to read these reviews. She's so cold and shouldn't even be teaching. She treats us like dummies. Only uses 1 hour of the 3 hour class time and doesn't even give extra credit which makes no sense

She clearly needs to consider another job field respectfully. Why choose to teach if u have a haggish personality like that & cant teach properly? Just rushed through the curriculum & doesnt care who understands & who doesnt. No extra credit either tho its mentioned on the syllabus, she purposely chose not to. Not to mention she is prejudice.

Only grades the tests she gives, does not make an effort to help students pass their class in the form of no study guides and very short time on her tests. About 50 minutes on a 50 question test, will give tests on 3 to 4 textbook chapters at once, not clear on the material required to pass test. Only took this class because she was the last option

This is the worst professor i ever had at QCC. she is so hard professor she wants us to answer the questions in her way. even tho you write the answer you know its the answer she will never give you points. NEVER EVER take her. she's not helpful at all to her students. she will never give you extra credit assignment. PLEASE DON'T TAKE HER.

My blood pressure went up every class I took with this professor. If your blood pressure is fine, take it but if you're not ready for a headache every class... don't. She says she's not trying to trick you but I can't help but feel tricked. Like I think I did well on the quiz then BOOM .... fails. yeah, don't recommend this professor.

This professor is very insensitive and lacks professionalism. Time for her quizzes are much too short (very picky with answers & answers need to be up with her specific standard). Rushes through the lecture/gives hasty explanations for the material. I did pass but it was not easy. Strongly recommend saving time/money and not take this professor.

So many exams no one passes. Doesnt let you speak, gets mad when no one understands her/gets a question wrong. Heavy accent. No tolerance. I would have to take my daughter to daycare and be 10 mins late for an online exam and would not pass. I did most all the homework and she took her sweet time to grade and still gave us an F. just plain mean.

STAY AWAY, unless you're looking to sign your death certificate. She will mark your answer on an exam wrong simply for grammatical errors. She's very disrespectful towards her students and belittling. She would also raise her voice towards the class for participating and giving the wrong answer BE WARE!!!!!!

Every time I was on my way to her class, I wished something bad happened to me. She was extremely rude, uncaring and when students reported her, she reported them back. Had to drop the class because she made me so depressed.

I understand that this is a difficult course but this professor's teaching style is not good at all. Save yourself & your grade & run. Find a different professor please! For Lecture 5 exams, the lowest is dropped and for Lab 5 quizzes worth 50% of the grade and other assignments worth 40%. Overall Lecture is worth 60% of your grade and Lab is 40%.
