Started off a little rough, but she became more relaxed as the semester went on. Attendance is a must or you will fall behind and/or forfeit the pop quiz she usually gives. She is very helpful. She explains the rules and shows examples, pretty straight forward. Don't be late! One of the better math teachers I have encountered.

She is a very good math teacher. she is smart, helpful and understanding. you will have homework due for every class, so you might want to buy the book. don't be late to her class or let your cell phone ring in th middle of class, those are the two main things she does not like.

She is the best math teacher!!!!! i always hated math its always been my failing subject untill i got into her class she explains everything clearly and doesnt really like to move on untill the whole class understands. you'll have homework every night but its for your benifit its a big part of your grade so do it! and alot of quizes but there easy!

She's great and she explains it and breaks it down so u know exactly what to do. although u will get homework daily that will be collected!! but she's great! and u will always need the book. plus she gives alot of quizzes cause the more you take the better your grade!!

If you're not a lazy student and you do your homework and go to class you'll definitely pass this class. She's extremely helpful, take her!

Lady is cool... attendance not mandatory... I suck in math... never got higher than a c in my life.. again with this class but i can see how someone could get an a easily... never bought book or used it... class notes important..... attendance not important... lets you re test for a better grade on a test... minimal extra credit... do well on tests

Ms. Patel is everything a teacher SHOULD be. I thought I had a learning disability when it came to math, but she really made me understand it and, for the first time in my life, I don't hate math. Best teacher I have ever had!!!

I loved Mrs.Patel, I was always awful at math and she made it all make sense to me, tests are not unreasonably hard as long as you know what shes teaching. She is extremely sweet and the most helpful math teacher ive ever had. Also she tries to be funny and shes not really but at least you know shes trying!

Ms. Patel is a really good teacher! She's always willing to help but refuses to give extra time on dues dates. If you come to class, pay attention, and do your HW you'll make an easy A! She talks REALLY REALLY fast and it's hard to keep up with her explanation (which got me at first). So if you have a hard time keeping up find someone else.

She is great! Very helpful and she makes things fun. I didn't go to her class twice and got a 90 on the text. She's very good with emails and understanding with absences if you are honest. She is awesome.

This class is super easy if u do ur work and come to class. She pretty much lays it all out as far as what you need to do to pass. She makes a big deal of taking the practice tests. She's rite, if you do it and make a good grade you'll prolly make a good grade on the tests. She's good at breaking it down. Awesome teacher!

Great teacher. She expects us to do our homework. She says that if we do, then we will not feel behind. She is right. Homework is online. Just don't miss class or you will feel really behind. I have never been good at math, but she is good at explaining the math so that I get it. Do the practice tests if you care about your grade!

I hate math and i would recommend this teacher to everyone! i actually like math. A good amount of online work but its super easy you just have to sit down and do it. You use the book everyday very helpful you write it in. No homework just quizs due on sundays

If you really do not understand math and really hate it then Ms. Patel is the teacher you need she will not move on until you get whats going on and when you email her with a problem she will get back to you quick.

Im making this comment after having took 1033 and I'm currently in 1105. Ms. Patel is awesome and I was well prepared for the higher level math course after completing her class. She makes learning math fun with all of her funny saying like "Algebra Wars' and "To the left, to the left, all the variables to the left" I LOVE HER!MS PATEL ROCKS BABY!!

I hope that all of my future math teachers are at her level! She is awesome I hated math in high school but she makes it fun. She is very nice and always willing to help (even though emails on the weekend,) unless you are one of those people who act like you are still in high school, you will not have a problem in her class.Funny,nice,arealteacher

I have a difficult time in math but she was inspirational. She was always on our side cheering us on and letting us know that anyone can pass if they work for it. I left feeling like I could master any math class. If you struggle with math, please take her and she will help you learn! You do need to show up and do the work. Wonderful instructor!

Taking her now for MGF1107 and she has been amazing. I am so awful at math and she literally breaks down the information and make sure everyone is on the same page before she moves on. You definitely must attend class in order to pass and you must have the book, but if you keep up with everything passing will come easy. First A in math EVER!

Such a great teacher! Makes it easy to understand and to complete the course material. She is always open to help students and does not leave any student behind! Homework and quizzes have unlimited chances online. You must be in class to fully understand her material, but when you are, she makes it cake!

I've never been the best at math but this class has changed that! I passed with an A because I took advantage of the video's for the test. If you put in the effort it will pay off. STUDY!

First off let me say If you can take Ms. Patel class on campus please do! She is an amazing teacher. She is funny and gives lots of ways to remember important things for test day. She WILL NOT GO ON if you do not understand the material trust me. Do the mymathlab it really can hurt your grade. Her test are way easier than the MML homework. take her

She genuinely cares about her students' success and will make sure everyone understands the concept before continuing on the lesson and if you're still struggling she's happy to help outside of class. I would take her for all my math courses if I could! TAKE HER, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

Very nice professor, absolutely loves what she does, and will gladly help you whenever needed. Three tests plus a 5% bonus for each if you ace the online practice tests. Homework is a lot harder than the tests and is very time consuming, though it can all be done through an online math generator no problem. Final exam replaces lowest test grade.

One of the best professors I ever had!

She was a really great math teacher honestly. Very easy to understand, always answers our questions, funny. Just great. She offers extra credit, no final exam, only an optional retest. This class was very easy, if you just show up every day and print the notes, you'll pass no problem.

Ms. Patel was the best teacher Ive ever had at TCC. Ive always been okay at math when I apply myself, but she made it so easy to understand and made sure everyone understood before moving on. I finished with a 102% in the class because I went to every class, payed attention in class, and did the assignments.

Professor Patel is amazing and very inspirational with her encouraging words of wisdom. I took her online course in six week was able to follow her self pacing calendar (very helpful). You have all the chances you need to redo your homework and able to retest if you need to on exams. She cares very much and wants you to do your best to pass.

Professor Patel is professor that you need to take if you struggle with math. Shes very helpful and her class is overall a very easy one. She breaks up her lessons to help you understand them. She gives extra credit for her tests and her homework is due once a week. Great teacher, highly recommended!

She was a very great professor she cared a lot and was funny at times. She would give you all the helped you needed and she would also give you extra credit on your tests if you aced the practice tests online. She drops the lowest test grade if you pass the final exam with a 70 or higher. I would definitely recommend her if you learn math slowly.

She is very on top of things, and gives you ample opportunities to do well. She is very clear with class expectations and gives you all the tools to succeed. She is also VERY accessible and responds very quickly, sends individual reminders, feedback and updates.

Great teacher. I'm not good at math at all. Gives 5 points extra credit if you make a 90 or better on the optional practice test. Homework you can keep trying until you get 100 on it. There is 4 test no final exam. The final exam is an optional retake. Tests are only open for 2 days.

Prof. Patel is the nicest & most competent math teacher I've ever had. She is very clear in class & gives notes you can print off easily before each class or after if you forget to print. All her lessons are videoed online. She gives an extra credit opportunity for every test & is prompt in responding to emails. Do NOT miss class & you'll do well!

Professor Patel is a really nice lady who is very passionate about her class. She understands the concepts really well and wants you to succeed, she is available to help you after class. The class is not easy but as long as you follow the instructions you should be able to pass.

Patel's class was a hard one for me because I'm not a math superstar. She has video lectures to watch and the tests are honorlocked so PAY ATTENTION or you will fail. Gives retake of worst test grade at the end of the semester. Overall great teacher but don't expect to not do anything.

Professor Patel was so good at teaching math. I really enjoyed her class. Teaches at a fast pace but do the hw, pay attention in class, review material and you'll ace the tests. The learning commons are a great aid if it gets hard! She's also pretty funny, makes class better.

There's a lot of homework and 4 tests, which make up 80% of your grade. She lets you retake a test instead of giving a final. I'm not good at math, so I struggled a bit in her course. If you stay on top of the homework and do the practice tests you will be fine. She's great at teaching, very accessible, and will help you if you're struggling.

The homework is super easy, just make sure you print out the weekly outlines. Tests are exactly like the hw. You have to purchase an online code to all assignments, but you can redo the hw unlimited times till you get 100%. Really recommend this professor.

I was supposed to be in her MGF1107 class but it was cancelled due to low enrollment and I was put in another MGF1107 course (who I also had an amazing prof. in). She emailed me to check on me and when she found out that I did really well and passed the course she was so excited for me. She is the best!

Professor Patel class is amazing. If you enjoy math , if math is a hard subject need help understanding it, choose her class. Are you a student that doesn't show up for class? Don't choose her class. Professor Patel class you have to physically attend to be taught. I missed 2/3 days out the whole semester and passed with 4.0 A b/c I SHOWED UP.

Professor Patel provides notes, videos and, especially helpful, one on one office help in zoom meetings. Also, 5 points extra credit are awarded on each test if you make an A on pre-test homework-you can reset until you get an A. Eventually, you start to understand. You will learn some math that is important, in regards to daily life, for once.

It took me a little while to get used to her teaching style, but once you get used to it she's amazing. She gives more than enough time to do the homework and ask questions. The unit quizzes aren't too difficult. She goes out of her way to make sure you and everyone else understands the material before moving to the next part of the lecture. 10/10!

W prof teaches what we need and gives us the tools to the problem Understanding, delightful, inspirational would take 10/10. Taking Guy Dormeus and man I wish Prof. Patel had a class for MAC1140.

Professor Patel is the best math teacher I have ever had! She gives everyone notes and you learn the material as you listen and fill it in. She gives you a five point extra credit when you complete a practice exam. She also gives 3 or 4 extra credit questions on the test. Basically, if you put in any kind of effort, you should AT LEAST get a B.

I enjoyed coming to her lectures even though I hate math. She has positive energy and good lectures. Good at explaining things. Any time I had trouble, she was helpful. Very good at responding to emails. No complaints. If you have to take liberal arts math, take it with her. Just be ready to study for the tests.

She explains everything clearly, and there's no final exam. We had 4 tests, and you could retake one or two if you weren't happy with your grade. Loved her!

Amazing math professor! She's explains concepts very well! The ALEKS work is a bit heavy, but very manageable, do NOT leave it for last minute. She is also very caring and gives lots of practice for tests and the final.

The professor responded to emails quickly and was very helpful when I needed help. She wants you to succeed. I would recommend this professor.
