He was the best teacher I have ever had, he is awesome. He gives you chances all the time, because he wants for all his students to pass. Just dont be absent and do your homework, and I think you will be fine, ask help from him...if you do than you will pass

Hes really nice and helpful. He gives practice tests before hand and usually there the same exact questions but the numbers changed. he does give a lot of hw. atten is mandatory. But he's really nice and always there to help. I've taken him for other math classes, and he's the best math prof i've ever had.

Prof Ades really cared if we learned and understood. He was a little scattered and sometimes late getting work and tests back to us. Graded on curve. I enjoyed the class and Mr. Ades.

Took him for statistics and got an A, very easy class but you must attend everyday and take notes! those notes give you the answers to his tests. And I agree with the comment below, he does want his students to pass. One thing about him though, no talking while he's lecturing! He gets upset when you do. I'd recommmend him!

Professor Ades is GREAT. His teaching clarity is impeccable and his willingness to help out the class is great. Always hands out practice tests and sets up review dates a day or two before test for those who are struggling. I enjoyed the class and got an A although math has always been my struggling point. Great professor!! I have always struggled with math but he makes it really easy to understand and learn. He hands out practice tests that are pretty much what u will see on the test! I would recommend going to the math center and ask him questions the day of the tests!

Mr. Ades is the kindest, most patient instructor I have ever had since I have been a college student. He is very determined to make sure that his students comprehend the material. Super easy class. There are notes online that you print out and he goes over it in class. Homework is from the book. The study guide he gives before the tests is practically the test and he goes over it the day before the tests. He goes by the pace of the class and doesn't move on until there aren't anymore questions. TAKE HIM. He's super nice.

Really GREAT professor. Very straight forward and great at teaching. He moves at the classes pace and always gives a practice test before lecture exams which is basically almost identical to the exams. Honestly, he makes this class super duper easy. An A is guaranteed if you study and do your homework

I recommend all of my friends to take Ades because HE CARES! He makes sure the class understands the subject before moving on, if he sees you trying he will give you free points, is willing to extend homework, is always willing to help! If you're a PSY major you know stats is important! I managed to get an A just by studying the notes he provides!!

Ades is caring towards his students and is always willing to help and extend hw throughout the semester. He's a fair grader which helps if you aren't very good at math. If you don't do the hw you will probably struggle in his tests. I would have liked it if he made his own practice tests before exams.

Because of Ades, I changed my major. I was a psych major, now a bio major. He gave me the confidence to believe I can pass math, since I haven't received a B in math since the 7th grade. I plan to take him for future courses. He's is very clear on what he wants from you.

He explains the material well if you ask him to explain it. don't be ashy to ask him to repeat something because he wants you to understand the material. When you ask for feedback on your tests he tells he's very clear. Lots of notes/review. It wasn't easy but that's expected in a stats class. Would recommend if serious about passing & working hard

I really liked Professor Ades. He is great he loves to teach and wants students to learn. If you don't understand he doesn't mind finding an alternative explanation. He is clear in what he wants do your homework and practice exams and you will do just fine. I took him for the Winter and he was an absolute breeze compared to the other professors.

I never thought Id have an A or B in any Marh class ever. He explained everything so well and really eased into what we were learning so that it wasnt as difficult for us. He really cares about and respects his students. He is the best professor but do not disrespect him or hell call you out in class. He makes probabilities easy. Recommend him!

Ades is truly amazing, hes so patient with you and explains everything in different ways for you to understand it, he doesnt hesitate to repeat anything. Theres 4 exams in total and your final exam(which is based on everything in the class), and if you do well on it he replaces your lowest test grade with your final exam grade and 1-2 projects.

Didn't think I would pass my first time, I had a D in the beginning of the semester and ended up with a B, so as long as you do the homework and take good notes you will pass, plus he really cares with helping you improve so definitely take advantage. You don't need the textbook since you will be using mystatlab.

I searched for a good professor for statistics that I had to leave Valley and go to Mission for Professor Ades. Professor Ades is truly in the correct field. He's passionate, loves teaching, patient, will make time outside class without pay to make sure his students understand the material. Take him for stats since the subject is not easy.

Honestly, he is a really good professor and will always be there if you need help during office hours. Advice: DO the homework as you go along, I didn't and got a B because I couldn't finish it all. The homework is all online if you do it you should at least pass the class. Do not talk over him I could tell he hates that.
