Mr. Boone is a Excellent teacher. I took him for my first semester LEH class. Of course his class is difficult but aren't they supposed to be that way? I am in my third semester and Mr.Boone's class was tougher than Calculus in my opinion. Yes a lot of people dropped his class, but I was 1 of the few that stayed, and guess what I GOT A B+ from Boon

Professor Boone is the greatest!!! Just because he gives a lot of work doesn't mean that he's a horrible professor. It just means that he's looking out for the students' best interest. I admit he could be very tough at times but that's just to push the students in a better direction and to prepare them for reality. I give this professor 2 thumbs up

Very wonderful teacher who is true to his words. Yes, he can be a strict person but if you learn to play the game under his rules, you should not have any problem, in fact playing by his rules is the only way you can win. The point of his class is not to relax but all he is here to prove is that you are not A LAZY PERSON.

Prof. Boone gets an unfair rep. I will admit, he was hard and perhap a little tedious with some of his work; I took 2 LEH100s and was caught off gaurd by his work load. But I can't say it did'nt pay off. He will do anything in his power to help you which is comendable and sometimes rare in Lehman. If you are serious about learning, take his class.

Prof Boone is a good professor. all though he is very demanding when it comes to his work. i learned a lot from his class. there are A LOT of lazy and stupid professors at Lehman but Prof Boone is serious about his work which is really good because that's what college is all about. yea he is challenging but he's a good prof...

Professor Boone is a straight shooter. He tells you what he expects on Day 1 - it is up to you as to whether you want to abide by his expectations. There are no surprises in his class. The one thing you must remember is this is college, not elementary school. Either do what is expected or drop the class.

So many butt hurt students it seems, for god forbid you get a teacher that does their job and does not tolerate the low work ethic these students have. If you do the work and put effort he likes you and treats you with respect as opposed to the dumb idiots in the class who hat him because they are stupid and blame the teacher for failing

Personally, I think his class was the hardest class I ever have taken and ever will take. His class is extremely intimidating and the workload is out of this world. Haha, despite that he's definitely clear in what he asks from us and he is a fair man. Aside from being EXTREMELY strict, he's a great professor and he made me into an adult.

Take this professor if you want to learn. I came to realize if your school ethics suck you were going to fail his class. BUT if you produced the worked he required you would pass. He's an EXCELLENT professor. BUT if you're looking to just get by you better W or Drop his class immediately. Because you will get a big fat F!!

He is one of the best and hardworking professors I have ever met. He takes his time to explain his rules concerning his class from day one.Please stay away from him if u are lazy!!!

He is a super strict, demanding and sometimes unecessarily difficult professor BUT he is extremely good @ his job. He has high expectations and will not except laziness. If you want an interesting and valuable learning experience then take his class. If you dont actually like to work then dont bother. Learned alot from him and you probably will too

I don't know why some students say that he is very hard and unfair. He is the perfect teacher I always wanted to have. He wants his student to be perfectionist, and shows them ways how they could be. His policies help to carry other classes. Yes, he is very demanding and he worth it. I never enjoyed any class in my life like classical myth.

If you want an easy A in LEH 300 STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROFESSOR. If you actually want to EARN your grade and LEARN somthing this is the professor for you. As others have said, he is very demanding and expects the best but isnt this why we are in college? He did make himself avilable to questions and also encouraged them. Overall great experience.

expects somuch for short class(75min.Notextbook/ material U get expects U to rip apart word by word but you will know what is expected the 1st week of class so enter at your own risk But overall dont take class if you are expecting an easy A.Material is borning but saying on top of the demains may be a plus for the rest of your college experience

He is a stickler for having things done a certain but I find that to be very helpful. He is demanding but in the long run it becomes beneficial. If you want a challenge, you should take his class.

Professor gives allot of work, but he is awesome.You will learn from his class, and he is willing to listen and help.You have to earn your grade. If you are a slacker this class is NOT for you.

Professor Boone's class is no walk in the park. However, we are in college and it is expected that we know basic grammar. Boone takes his class seriously, and there is no getting around him. He is open to have conferences, and will help you if you put in the effort. If you still have the "high schooler" mentality, you are in for a big reality check

Prof. Boone is clear and very demanding. He is good yet not for an Leh class. A quiz every class sometimes very trick, 2 essays, 7 min presentation in class & 20 min with him. Listen very careful and be very organize with your notes. However, If you have a life outside of Lehman, dont take him!

He was the best professor i had as freshman. One of the most helpful teachers in the world. He will make you suffer, but you will be ready for the world after that. Take his class....trust me....

He is very strict and has a different way about teaching, but as long as you follow the instructions you will be fine. No use of the word "it" in papers. Double spaced with 1" margins (He measures it with a ruler). Title on every paper that should be centered. All those f's and chances to re-do papers annoyed me but taught me not to quit.

Not a class you want to take if you want an easy A. Makes things very difficult but you learn a lot if you do all the work. Final grades are also based on effort so you get what you put in.

Students like to complain because he "gives a lot of work" and at times is a hard guy to deal with because of the MLA guidelines and what not. But honestly if you don't learn now when will you? This is college not High school if anything he's saving us from a whole lot of trouble for the later years.

Amazing professor. Tough and challenging but ultimately it will be very beneficial. It's been almost a decade since I took his class, but he is the type of teacher whose thoughts you just easily don't leave behind.

Great professor, makes time to meet students after and before class. Pop quizzes are based on reading so you MUST read everything that he assigns for homework. He also gives you a chance to revised papers so that you can improve your overall grade. He is a tough grader but only if you don't do the readings and don't study. Would take again.

Stay away if you have no time for commitment. A lot of reading, writing and in class participation. Quiz at the beginning of every class and practically an essay for every homework. Tough grader. No work, no points, period. No extra credit. No make ups. If your determined go for it. Great lecturer.

Everything Professor Boone assigns has a purpose whether you believe so or not. Make sure you know the material because there are sometimes class discussions. Don't be afraid to ask him any questions but do not make him repeat an answer he already gave. Make sure you meet all deadlines he is very strict about that. Other than that he is a good prof

He is vey tough professor if you take his class you better work hard don't expect be seating on class just listen him, his class is very interesting and he is very smart professor just little impatient he don't like to reap things two times. You can expect quizzes every class and assignment papers every week, you need to read a lot also.

Professor Boone is Amazing! Many students complain that he is a terrible professor, but that is only because of the effort he makes students put into their work. It is true, he will make you re-write papers multiple times because of one minor error, but that teaches students that in college, you have to put your ALL into what you are doing!

This professor makes you work hard, if you expect an easy A do not take him. Honestly he is a great professor and gives you a chance to rewrite your papers. I believe he is a rather lenient professor since most professors would not give you the opportunity to rewrite your paper or give you extra credit for coming to class on time.

He will make you learn!! He likes things done perfectly. Some find him "too much" but I think he just really wants his students to learn. The real world is not a nice place and he is preparing his students for that. He is a nice person to talk to out of class. Don't do writing intensives about history in a 2 1/2 week session. Take Prof. Boone only in person and in a full spring or fall term, you need to take notes on whatever comes out his mouth because that's basically what you're elaborating upon. The amount of work is definitely necessary but the style is extremely confusing. Overall, Interesting.

Three large homework assignments, journals every week, and a final research paper AS WELL AS a final "exam" (memorize Gettysburg address speech)...Ralph Boone definitely gives A LOT of homework not regarding how many other classes students may have. Atleast he lets you resubmit however many times you need before semester end without removing points

Professor Boone runs a rigorous class with a lot of assignments, but it pays off. Engaging with the material and using tools like unstuck AI for study prep can really help you succeed. Tough grader, but fair.
