He was confused on how to work the problems alot of the time. He does curve if you attempt the work and I made a A in the course, but I did not learn anything to would further my accounting career.

Dont want to learn anything and still make a B. Take him. Accounting majors please dont take him and ruin ur career

If you really want to enroll in a class where the professor teaches, then don't enroll in this class. This Person is just collecting a paycheck. Be prepared to teach yourself. This person should not be teaching at any campus, because he can't teach. I'm warning you now, for this profesor, the negative commets received are right on the mark.

He doesn't teach anything. All he does is opens the PP and reads them even the work problems. Just imagine going to a math class and prof opens a answer in PP and explains VERBALLY. He doesn't use the board at all. And his tests are HARD!! he expects you to actually work the prob.in test.UHD needs to raise it's standard.This class is JOKE. RUN AWAY

This class was completely useless, only because I did not learn a single thing. Professor Butler simply puts the PP slides on and reads off of them. Even if you ask him a question, he'll wait for the class to answer it. Horrible experience. If going to college was free, I would retake this class.

This professor is horrible, so lazy to teach the students. The power points are not his and he never explains a problem. He reads the power points and expects you to know everything on the test. Half is multiple choose the other half is math problem. I learn nothing, works class ever. DONT TAKE HIM!!!

You might as well take this class online. For the first class period he just reads the power points from the publisher websites word for word, nothing more nothing less. Next class period he puts the answers to the nongraded homework up on the projector and lets you copy it. That is it.

Need someone to really explain accounting to you? Then this is not the teacher for you. All he does is read off the pp slides and goes over a few problems. I recommend getting another teacher.

I don't usually write reviews but this teacher is HORRIBLE! Does not teach, just reads off of the PowerPoint slides. Stay away for your own good! Best of luck,

By far the worst professor in UHD. He is lazy and lousy. Not showing any interests in teaching accounting. Reads off PowerPoint, always late. Always gets confused what page we are on most of the time. Don't take Butler!!!!

Uninterested professor who cares little about student feedback. Doesn't write his own tests; has mastery of subject but lacks verbal clarity to explain.

This professor by has been by far the worst professor I have experienced. He does the bare minimum for class and does not encourage his students. He doesn't give reviews and he doesn't give extra credit. His test are not clear and can be very confusing. If you want to learn the material do not take this class. no one has 300 bucks to waste on books

I have never commented on this website before but I have to warn students to please avoid taking this professor. He is the worst professor I have ever had in my life. He is so unorganized, always late and doesn't cleary explain anything relating to the subject. You might as well take this course online. I dont know why this man is on payroll.

this is probably one of my worst classes in my college career. honestly, i went in so interested and left hating the world. DO NOT TAKE HIM! im warning you. you will not learn anything. especially if youre a hands on learner like me. i warned ya!

The worst teacher ever! He should not be allowed to teach anything. Do not take this class if you need to understand accountin.

It was useless to take this course in class. You might as well take it online. He doesn't teach, just reads of slides and assigns homework and shows you the solution but not how to arrive to the solution. Also answers emails so late. I passed with a C and that was by self teaching.

He teaches purely by sides. If you ask a question he will tell you to read the book or go to that slide and repeat everything he said. He takes you SECOND highest grade to replace lowest. Why? Cause if your highest is an A then that makes you an A student. When really you're a (second highest grade) student. Save yourself and don't.

spring 2015 by far the worst professor ever just completely horrible he doesn't teacher just reads power points to students and expects them to get it he give answers to the homework but on the test you have no clue how to get them HE USES TEST BANK ON EVERY TEST AND QUIZZES get it use it you 'll make an A after i found it out i only went for test

WORST professor I have ever had. Does not teach whatsoever. He reads straight from the PP's and reads problems already worked out from the publisher! If you don't want to learn accounting and want to teach yourself, go ahead and take him. I would never recommend anyone to take him. He will make you fall asleep in class and not want to come!

Please AVOID. This teacher is a shame of UHD- a clear example of how someone is there for a paycheck only and couldn't care less about the students. He will not teach you (and the class requires a good professor), the tests will be very difficult, and most likely your grade will disappoint you even if you study hard. Simply AVOID.

Avoid him at all cost! He doesn't teach very well and he confuses himself a lot during the semester. He reads the power points so much that you can fall asleep easily in his class.

Not a good teacher nice as a person but avoid if you work and have a busy schedule this is for someone that does not work and just goes to school

Lecturing style was dull and mundane. Everything comes from the powerpoints. His attempts to explain only make the situation worse. Homework is not mandatory or graded. Test are basically from the test bank. Gives some credit for attempted answers but not enough. Every point counts. Not the type that helps out student learn the subject.

Been in has class for 3 weeks and he is horrible. doesnt teach at all you have to learn all the material yourself. His lectures are him reading a problem to a hw question and him not knowing to how answer is and expecting you to already know. avoid if possible

Really disappointed with how he conducts his classes & more so that UHD allows it. He spends the 1hr15 reading the AUTHORs answers to 3-5 short hw problems. 80% of the time he doesnt even work out the problem, rendering it useless & then refuses to post the same answers so we can check hw ourselves since hes not teaching. Job security I guess.

I didn't learn anything, he just read the answers from the textbook. You have to teach yourself, so save yourself and take any other professor!!!!

This was horrible! He literally set behind his desk as we went over homework questions. He did not teach any of the chapters, he simple answered homework. DO NOT take this professor!!!!!
