Honestly a awesome teacher. He's engaging, clear, funny, helpful, and really wants you to pass. He gives out a ton of extra credit. If you have to take Math020, take Professor Fortunato. He is an amazing teacher.

This professor is amazing. Math 123 is hard. I was so scared I was going to fail or ruin my GPA. Every time I left his class I felt relieved. he is a hard working devoted teacher that really cares about his students. 100% recommend him. if you screw around he will call you out on it. I feel that's fair. I actually got an A in math 123! amazing

The best math teacher. He really makes sure you understand the topic, he doesnt just fly through the topics. Loves to help you understand better. No need to buy the textbook.

Attendance matters of course, if you need a review sheets to prepare you for a test he's the man. He leaves all the hw open for you to fix unlike other professors. He's very fair, isn't picky. He's reasonable and tries to help as best as he can. He is funny and he IS NOT HARD what so ever. I'd take him again and im a slacker, this class Easy

Prof Fortunato is the best math professor I've ever had at csi. He made the material so easy to understand & I suck at math. He makes sure everyone understands each topic before moving on to the next. He's legit the best!!!!!!

Ive taken this class before with horrible results, and I was adamant that I was bad at math. He was extremely understanding of my anxiety and helped me in any way that he could. I passed the class with an S grade, and now Im confident. He prepares you for each test, gives great advice, and is super understanding. Im taking him again for 123!

If you get a chance to take this professor, take him. He is great and is always willing to help you if you do not understand it. Cares about his students, I am terrible at math and I was able to pass his class. Just do the homework and show him you care and put effort into the class and you will pass! Would def take him again if I had the chance t!

Definitely recommend! Really tries hard to ensure students pass. Teaches in a thorough, charismatic manner. Easy to communicate with outside of class (via e-mail) if necessary and gives you plenty of chances to excel. One of the nicest professors I've ever had.

LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM! He is great , his lectures are on point if you pay attention and do the homework you are going to pass. he is also very understanding and try to take the time to help you understand.

AMAZING. IF you have to take 123 TAKE HIM!! Math was always my worst subject but after taking this class 2 other times, I got him the 3rd and passed with flying colors. Really makes sure students pass and understand material. Gives amazing review sheets. Really funny and sweet.

He makes this class extremely easy to pass. He goes above and beyond helping students out, hands down if you need to take math 123, take Ralph, he makes this class a breeze. He really cares about his students and really wants them to do well. His homework are very flexible, he does test review and final review, also study sheets :) before all exams

He is amazing and HILARIOUS! Makes math fun &understandable. Cares about the students and will stay late to help you with no problem. Gives many opportunities to boost your grade. Attendance is mandatory though, he likes to know his students and help them. If you fail his class it shows that you just don't care about the class!

Had him in high school and loved his teaching there. Same situation in college. One of my favorite professors of all time. Teaches the material amazingly and with different formats so all students can understand. Took this class a couple times before and either dropped or failed. I'm not amazing at math. But with Fortunato it was a breeze. Thank u

BEST PROFESSOR OF ALL TIME!!! I failed math 123 TWICE, I have struggled with math my entire life. The stress I had when taking this class the first two times left me in tears, and not showing up for the final. With professor Fortunato, he walked me through the course to obtain a passing grade. The nicest guy ever and very respected by his students.

I was coming from MTH 20 and skip MTH 30 because I receive an S grade then came to this MTH123 + 35 with this professor it was truly incredible working with him. It was a struggle at first since I haven't learn MTH 30 but now from day 1 til now he still the best professor that I would recommend you take him for MTH 123. Trust me if you take him.

Hes a really nice guy. You have to listen to his lectures. Alot of homework but He does the homework with you during class time and sees whos doing it and whos not so you have to listen. Random pop quizzes at the end of lecture on some days. Easy class but you def have to be on the lecture to pass.

Mr. Fortunato is a terrific professor. My participation lead to good, detailed feedback and any issues were able to be dealt with easily. I would take his class again. He does make you earn your grade, but he is fair about it and will assist if you ask. Very kind, in my opinion.

great teacher, very thorough in all his in-class lectures, takes time doing all homework's and any and all difficult questions that arise.

Although the classes are currently online, most of the exams are all in-person. The professor is great at teaching and really cares about your success. However, if you're looking for an easy pass, this is not the class to go for. 60% of your overall grade are exams, the exams are not easy and you're being tested on algebra + trig, lots of studying.

Professor Fortunato is one of the nicest professors you'll ever meet. He's super organized and respects our time, and always informs the class weeks in advance if he would ever be late. He doesn't give any extra credit opportunities, but he's a very fair grader, and as long as you study for his tests, you'll be fine.

He is very well organized and will answer your questions clearly. He was also clear that if you're having a lot of trouble, go to tutoring, and if you are still struggling very badly, drop the class. Was very nice about it, but very straight-forward. His exams and review sheets were very similar and I enjoyed the class.

Professor Fortunato is the nicest professor ever, he gave us the best review sheets for the exams which helped sooo much. All of the material is straightforward, there are 4 exams, and homeworks that are due at the end of the semester. He always answers his emails right away and grades the exams fairly. 100% would recommend to take his class.

this professor is amazing, and he was really nice, but someone who's horrible at math do not take him, he's exams were so hard i couldn't pass any of them so i had to dropped the class. only take him if you are in honors or good at math, he's a very tough teacher otherwise he's a good professor.
